It has been a wonderful entry in the new century. The Emperors sit on their thrones and saves shine them. But, peace is not everywhere. Ashanti confederacy will be annexed by The British. Menelik in Ethiopia looks to expand and bring more lands to his dynasty. Meiji and his reforms will make the Japan a powerhouse. Victoria sits on a throne on whom the Sun will never set, or so? Sultan AbdulHamid faces opposition from everywhere, will he give the sick Man of Europe a revival? Wilhelm II has power and prestige will he buy the Africa? Nicholas the Tsar is lazy and holidayer. Will the Rus rise up or will they set with their Tsar.

Unaligned. I feel like Japan would associate more with the Entente but wouldn't limit their options.

History: In 1893, the Revive China Society, organized by Sun Yat-Sen, lead a revolt in Canton, it would succeed and with the aid of the Triad's it would soon encompass the whole of china, by 1894 the war was over, and the Qing Government was overthrown. The Republic immediately took its place as the new government, ushering in new delegates from the different provinces, and ensuring that a new bureaucracy was instated, this time with a lot more checks against corruption. Sun Yat-Sen was elected as Prime Minister, with Lu Haodong as Deputy Minister. Sun Yat Sen filled the Cabinet with his loyal supporters. The new Republic began to flex it's muscles immediately, quickly purchasing railroad lines from the Europeans, and beginning to expel them from the country. These rail lines became the start of a massive train network in china that remains under construction to this day. Many young scholars coming from the US and Europe organized the public school system and a series of modernized universities known as "The Lotus League" these universities were remodeled in the new Eastern Fashion, using a combination of Eastern and Western building techniques. In 1897 the reorganization of the military began, with a top down restructuring, Yuan Shikai made Supreme Military Commander. In 1899 the National War and National Naval colleges were completed.
