His heart skipped at the thought of his parents being alive and Jacob, the man he befriended. But he reminded himself, they didn’t love him if they left him in the streets. But I understand that I cannot just ignore the lives she took, how she acted as a soldier." he would pause, "I ask merely for mercy and care for her, as much that can be administered without diminishing the law. I trust you will do just that."

Looking at Aceus, Judge Dunn smiled slightly as he spoke,

"Aceus, you are clear in your thinking. I can promise you that whatever verdict we deliver will ensure that Erika will remain unharmed. However, like you said, she will have to face the consequences of her action so who knows how severe it will be. in the meantime, if you wish we can have a bed brought down to the cargo hold so that you can be near your daughter until the time of the trial. Currently even we are unsure of where it will take place though. Some bureaucrats in our government want the trial to be performed on the Significance peace ship though all of us judges are in agreement that this is an unwise decision."

At that moment Jennifer Johnson just so happened to be looking for the judges and Ryan McNeil to deliver information regarding a change in plans. As she ran down the corridor towards the cargo hold she heard talking from the engine room and it sounded like the Ambassador she had seen earlier. Opening the door she was shocked to see Ryan rubbing a red throat while Aceus spoke with the five judges.

"Erm... is this a bad time? Aren't you not supposed to talk with the defense team until the actual trial?"

This time Judge Dixon spoke up,

"To put it bluntly Jennifer, yes. We aren't normally supposed to speak with the defense team until the trial. However, since this is a special circumstance we agreed that we would address the defense team beforehand."

Nodding her understanding, Jennifer informed them of the shifting plans.

"If I may interrupt, we just received word from the President's office to proceed with the trial on this ship and not the Significance Ship. Supposedly some bureaucrats were trying to play trip up the others to rise up the ranks and tried to say that President Sobchak ordered it. We are clear to perform the trial on this ship so when the defense and prosecution teams are ready it can be held."

With that she turned and left while closing the door gently.

"Alright, well that actually solves that issue with having the trial on the Significance Ship. As such we will proceed when you are ready Aceus and Ryan. The prosecutors are already ready for the trial."

As Ryan got up, Judge Dunn handed him a folded piece of paper,

"This is an extensive list of the crimes the prosecution is charging Erika von Scharnhorst with. It may not be complete but it is a majority of the crimes against her. Please revise this with your client and return it to use with your reasoning if you believe there are discrepancies."

With that Ryan helped Aceus to his feet and they walked back down to the cargo hold where Erika was being held. As they were walking back down to the cargo hold, they ran into Harold Li who was completely oblivious to what had just transpired. Once they were situated at a table next to her cell he opened the letter and read over it while speaking for Aceus, Harold Li and Erika to hear,

"This is a list of all crimes that Erika von Scharnhorst is being accused of. This list has been revised by the judicial team from The Chuck and is being revised by the defense team. All non-illicit charges are to be crossed out with an explanation of why they are not crimes.

As they read over the list, Ryan opened his briefcase and pulled out two large leather bound books. The first book read UNICEF and You: A Basic Primer for Child Rights and the second book read ICRC: A Guide to the International Committee of the Red Cross and its Humanitarian Laws. flipping through UNICEF, Ryan found the page he was looking for. Turning his attention to Erika he asked her a question.

"Erika, were you recruited by any group to fight in this conflict or did you join by your own accord? Secondly, the people you killed in the war zone, were any of them civilians or unarmed? Please tell the truth this since will have major implications during the trial."

Before the Ausinian sniper could do anything, the Lethen artillery strike tore into the enemy line, smashing, flattening, and battering buildings. A brief silence ensued as both sides were forced to find their bearings. The Ausinians, of course, needed to figure out who died and what was destroyed, and the Lethen forces had to pause to figure out what Ausinian positions remained. The effectiveness of the strike was unknown at the moment.

Soon enough, fire broke out again, though visibility was greatly obscured as a blanket of smoke engulfed the Ausinian side of the line and a healthy amount of no man's land.

"Now that was a clean strike. They better've keeled over and died!" Levi shouted as he fired into the smoke.

Dreyse contacted him over the radio. "I can't do much until the smoke has subsided. That'll be...quite a while, I think. Team Six, over."

Spokane has sent 6000 men from the navy to aid Spokane Forces in the battle of Tel Aviv. Team Delta’s remaining men have also been shipped in. The Spokane Grand Ambassador has also arrived on the Peace Talks Ship, with a firm stance that the SIS agents shall be turned over to Spokane and trialed.
