Next Congress when they put together a bill with enough support to be veto proof.

I suspect the first thing Pelosi will do is resend some version of the bill that passed the Senate unanimously up. At which point McConnell is boned, because he either has to try to claim with a straight face that they don't have the votes for a bill that passed 100-0 a couple of weeks ago, or throw Trump under the bus by either sending it to his desk or refusing to vote on the basis that Trump won't sign it.

I mean I expect Trump to break at that point anyway, but the red-hat troglodytes will blame it all on the ebil RINO's and libs because there's no way Glorious Leader gave up on the wall just so he could finally get back to Mar A Lago.

And now, enough of Trump's dickishness, what about the EPA's?

The Trump administration is moving to partially roll back yet another Obama era environmental rule, this time on the mercury emissions that come out of the stacks of coal-fired power plants.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced the proposal today, saying that the cost of these regulations outweighs the health benefits. Mercury can cause birth defects, brain damage and learning disabilities in children.

Under President Obama, the EPA had said power plants must limit mercury and other pollutants, and it justified those rules by saying the changes would prevent thousands of deaths and save tens of billions of dollars. But President Trump's EPA doesn't agree with those calculations at all, and it said utilities won't have to comply with those rules in the future.

... at least Marie Antoinette was kinder.

We've had a multitude of Presidents who really, well, just don't give a flying fuck about the well-being of ordinary people. What makes Trump so particularly unique is he makes no effort to hide this.

This is just blatant fuckery, malice and malignant action on behalf of large, powerful corporations. It's sickening, truly sickening. But, hey, at least Trump leaves it out in the open, because really, his base won't know or care, and the opposition is unfocused on his environmental record.

That makes it even more sickening, that he has consistently gotten away with egregious displays of apathy towards the national and global environment. This act is nothing more than a slight detrimental caveat in regards to the total and utter lack of care towards the environment that has been shown in this administration. All things considered, this is just one of many, many, many policies that are a detriment to the people. That's what is saddening.

Well, at least they say that the investigation needs to continue regarding both matters, although now it'll be under the Democrats, and any there won't be any Republicans stonewalling the investigation(s) in this case.

The first strikes where not legal either. Sometimes you have to preform illegal actions to make a change. Or if you want to be anal about it they could just all not show up for work. I’m mean they’re not getting paid might as well take an extended vacation. Good luck attempting to hire some 15,000 ATC guys
