Bio:

Cyrene Theresa Simon is the daughter of an American teacher living in Japan as an English teacher and a school nurse who met at the school both were employed at and eventually fell in love and were married. Over the course of her childhood, Cyrene, who saw her mother as the best role model a girl could ask for (it didn't hurt that her mother preferred to be a woman Cyrene could confide in and trust first and a disciplinarian only when needed), always had one dream: To be a nurse. It was little surprise, then, that her Quirk, which manifested itself at age 5, would lead to her into a life of constant pain healing the various cuts, bruises, and scrapes of her classmates as much as she could. Indeed, throughout her schooling, she leaned toward the medical field, going so far as to violate lights out with books on anatomy and medicine where most kids her age would sneak games and comic books. It was really only at the insistence of her father that she even bothered with Hero work.

Insistence which had lead a friend of his, a wealthy business owner who, on a business trip to Japan, had heard of the opening at the school he worked at (her business sold books, one book of which was used to teach advanced English) and let him know of it, to, at his behest, commission a hero suit which would amplify not only her healing power, but her physical strength and provide some protection.

It was this suit which allowed her to get her hero license, under the name "Black Tag". For a while, Cyrene fought villains as a sort of combat nurse, healing her allies (she'd scored 85 points on the practical exam, of which only 20 were for "villains") and occasionally contributing to fights while using the money she earned to put herself through medical school. That all came crashing to a halt when, 15 years ago, her anger at the death of a friend got the better of her and nearly got her classified as a villain (indeed, had she not healed the villain after securing him, she *would* have been.). For five years after that incident, "Black Tag" made no more appearances as Cyrene drowned her regret, both for the harm she'd done and for the fact that, had she focused solely on healing, she would have noticed her friend's injuries in time to heal her, in medical books and beer, working as a convenience store clerk to get the money for both. It was in one of those books that she would find the words that would bring her back to her dream and, possibly, save her life:

"I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm.".

The words struck a chord within Cyrene that would lead her to retake the Hero License exam under a new hero name, taken from the name of the oath in which they were found:

Hippocrata.

With the new name came a new suit, one bought with a favor of healing, which gave her the same protection and strength of the old, and gloves which, though doubling the pain of her Quirk, would allow her to heal with contact anywhere up to her elbows, and had one important difference from the old: The helmet, with technology built in to search for violent impulses, would restrain her using the suit's motors if she ever tried to fight again. Also of note was the fact that she had chosen a different color for the suit, this one mostly white in place of the old one's green, and lacking a covering over the mouth. In place of the plain scrubs cap was the helmet, which had a power cell in a rear pylon and two sensors shaped like horns, as well as a "headband" there purely for aesthetics reasons, the whole design making it a poor choice for combat. She'd also had the "skirt" puffed out, both to disguise the batteries and as a style choice.

The new suit made the exam difficult. There was a portion of it that had involved mock combat. But she had made it through without fighting, and won her license. After signing on with a hero agency, Cyrene worked as a rescue hero, healing people who had been injured in disasters, to finish putting herself through medical school with the goal of one day working as a school nurse, a dream her return to the world of the willingly living had reawakened in her, and it was five years later that she finally made it to her destination. It would be UA, on the recommendation of a few of her colleagues, who would hire her, and she is now 5 years into a successful career.

Quirk Name: The Cross I Bear

Quirk Description:

Emitter type.

Hippocrata can touch someone with her hands and heal them, at the cost of feeling the pain of the injury for as long as it would have taken for the injury to heal/stop hurting. While there's no theoretical limit to the severity of the injury or the number of people she can heal this way, she cannot heal corpses, and taking on too much pain can incapacitate or even kill her, though 30 years of using her Quirk has given her an absurd pain threshold and level of pain tolerance (to the point of her often not noticing her own injuries).

Bio:
From a young age, Ignacio was destined for villainy. Shunned and mercilessly teased by his classmates for being a "fake" (his father was Mexican, resulting in a kid who looked closer to Japanese than most half-Japanese kids.), he learned from an early age that people were trash and society was a thing to be hated. This resentment continued to build during his middle and high school years, and it didn't help that he ran into the League of Villains in his second year at UA.

The moment he met Shigaraki, his path in life was set, and, the more he participated in crimes, the more he grew to love the pain he caused, and he soon became a full-fledged terrorist, striking out at society in general and his classmates in Musutafu in particular, preferring to cause as much mayhem and misery as possible. As he grew older, though, he became much more careful, what with his younger days being filled with near-captures by the big three (Thank badness for Shigaraki and his crew).

Sparky Sparky Boom Man chose his name for himself, naming himself after his Quirk, which he also named. He's really bad at naming things.

Emitter Type

At a snap of his fingers, arcs of electricity surge to a point of his choosing that he can see, then create an explosion. The explosion can be as weak or powerful as he wants, up to and including the rough equivalent of a half-ton of TNT, but there has to be a clear path for the electricity to travel, and he has to be able to clearly see the entire path. If there is an obstruction along the intended path, the explosion will happen at the obstruction, regardless of whether or not he wants it to, as, once started, the arc will trigger the explosion wherever it stops, or as soon as it leaves his sight.

Fun fact: Rain, snow, and dust can be obstacles that will make the sparky sparky go boom.

Aoi Tachibana didn't have what you'd call an easy start.

Her own Quirk, or, rather, the virus it manifested as within her, left her weak and barely able to move as it changed her from a normal looking girl into something almost totally alien, with only her face, hands, and feet as reminders that she was still human by age 4. While glad of the absence of the tantrums the terrible twos were usually marked by, her parents were concerned by the demands of her transformation, and trips to the doctors were frequent until her energy returned after the crystal in her chest finished forming and her "'imaginary' friend", a dull, lifeless-looking copy of herself, began manifesting when she was lonely and wanted a playmate, something her parents tried to train her out of because she'd quickly grow confused and sleepy whenever said "friend" appeared.

As far as figuring out what her Quirk really did, however, that part wouldn't come until she was eight and found herself sitting on the sidelines at recess after breaking her tibia climbing a tree. As she sat on a bench, wishing her leg would heal faster, a teacher noticed that she seemed to be growing, the red-orange "armor" of her body expanding to cover her entirely, and her arms widening out to resemble thick red-orange wide egg noodles, with her entire body bulking up (enough that her "armor" was the only thing protecting her modesty). The transformation took nearly two minutes, during which Aoi, to her surprise and terror, couldn't move at all as her cast and school uniform fell apart around her. Had she not been panicking, Aoi would have been struck by how... oddly painless the transformation was. There were sensations that *should* have been painful, but *weren't*.

And, once it was done, her leg fell off and crumbled to dust at the break, and, four minutes later, one would have been hard-put to tell it had even been injured. In fact, the paramedics in the ambulance *couldn't* tell, and her sluggish movements went back to an unnatural stillness at the hospital when, in tears and tired of the slowness that came with her new form, all Aoi could think about was going back to normal (not that the fat jokes an insensitive nurse had made when the stretcher failed under her weight had helped. It had taken six people to lift her into the ambulance.), and, two minutes later, a very confused doctor saw Aoi sitting on the examination table in her normal form. This incident would lead Aoi to experiment with her Quirk over the next few years, discovering what its forms, of which she found four, could do.

And coming to the realization that, if she could master her Quirk, she had the makings of a great Hero.

Her sights set on that goal, there was really only one school she would want to go to: UA. And so she set about studying and training for that goal.

Quirk Name: Virus Armor

Quirk Description:
Transformation type with aspects of Emitter type. Allows Aoi to switch between four forms, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Transforming takes time and requires her to be still, and takes longer each time until she's had at least 8 hours of sleep.

Normal form: Aoi's weakest form for combat, but best for support. In this form, Aoi is no stronger, faster, or tougher than a normal human, but she heals twice as fast and can make dull, lifeless-looking copies of herself which, while not very durable, have all her other attributes except the ability to transform or make copies. She can currently make up to three, and doing so is mentally and physically draining, the effects getting worse the longer she maintains them. She is able to communicate telepathically with these clones.

Defense form: Aoi's slowest form, but best for recovery and taking hits. In this form, Aoi is no stronger than a human, but is much slower and much, MUCH tougher, and can regenerate lost limbs in 5 minutes, her body within 10 minutes, and up to half her core (the jewel in her chest, which is her brain) in 15. So much of her energy is needed for regeneration in this form that she cannot use telekinesis, as her body is barely able to keep up with the demands of regeneration, and is exceedingly slow for similar reason. In this form, Aoi is very heavy and sinks like a stone in water.

Speed form: Aoi's most fragile form, but best for escape and evasion. In this form, Aoi is weaker and much less durable than a human, and resists her own speed solely by means of an involuntary reflex which shields her from the strain and wind resistance. She has a limited ability to read minds in this form, though it'd be more accurate to say she gets an impression of what her opponent is planning to do, and, even thing, it picks up surface thoughts only: It's easily fooled by those who know she's doing it. Her speed gives her an edge in avoiding enemy attacks, but she is fragile in this form, able to be taken out of a fight as easily as tripping over something, and her telekinesis lacks any real power.

Attack form: Not especially mobile or tough, but best for doing damage. In this form, Aoi is slightly slower than a normal human, and is only slightly stronger and tougher, but is a psychic powerhouse, able to fire beams from her core, manipulate her environment through telekinesis, and even lash out with pure telekinetic energy. Using telekinesis in this form, however, is especially draining, and she's not very good up close with it, preferring to keep opponents at a distance. Prolonged battles are dangerous for Aoi in this form without having some way to rest periodically. Her attacks also suffer diminishing returns when used without taking a minute or so to rest.

Bio: Kou was born to a wealthy family, with his father being the rich, British owner of the oil company Sanviento, and his mother being a Japanese woman of higher class. He was given the best education possible, and then some. Life on a silver platter. Kou was ambitious, even as a child, always the leader in projects, playground antics, and the like. Those who were with him were treated well, and those who were not with him were against him. This was a trend carried through the whole of his schooling career, and even into higher education, forming a social class of his own. When he was 18, he started his own business, a small electronics company known as Pillar. This store exploded, becoming a multi-medium store chain that sells smartphones, computers, laptops, TVs, and even cars, (as well as a secret weapons program). His ambitious dream manifested into a reality. But he wanted more. More power. He wanted to make people fear him. And so he created a new persona, with a quirk he had never truly revealed. He took on the persona of DIO and used his power to dominate others in an identity that was his secret second half. The Jekyll to his Hyde. He was now two men and now, he was a threat.

Occupation: CEO of Pillar/Villain

Quirk Name: Hyde

Quirk Description: Hyde is a powerful yet not very flashy transformation quirk, with elements of an emitter quirk. Kou can alter his physical form drastically, taking on two different forms: Kou and DIO. As DIO, he is far more physically adept, able to run up to 30 mph, lift things twice his weight, run for a sustained period of time averaging 2 hours, so on and so forth. He is also far more agile, able to perform feats of acrobatics on par with Deku (student age). He has enhanced senses, like smell, touch, taste, and hearing. He can also project claws from the tips of his fingers able to easily slice through flesh. The oddest aspect of his quirk, however, is his "aura of fear." If a person is within a certain short range of DIO, they will begin to feel a strange feeling of dread and anxiety, that only intensifies as DIO draws closer. Once he gets within about 12 feet, this anxiety becomes a paralyzing fear. Dio looks a bit like this. (Ignore the tail)

Quirk Description: Emitter Quirk. For three seconds, Miku is able to stop time for everyone except herself and anyone in physical contact with her. During the stop in time, any object not directly in contact with her (from her point of view) becomes completely immovable, as well as any nonliving object too heavy for her to move outsize of the frozen time. Objects in her pockets are not immovable, being considered part of her, and ammunition for weapons is likewise considered part of the weapon. Additionally, only objects she was touching when she stopped time will be moveable, and they will become completely immobile the instant she is no longer in contact with them. This includes ammunition, which will be immobilized the instant it leaves contact with the weapon. Additionally, all immobile objects cannot be damaged while time is stopped. This quirk also gives Miku an innately near-perfect sense of timing.

Unfortunately, there are downsides to this, as well. For starters, while she has a near-impeccable sense of *timing*, her sense of *time* is quite the opposite. Due in part to her quirk putting her well out of synch with the world around her, Miku is never sure of the time or date, as her internal clock believes much more time has passed in her life than actually has, and, with this comes a thoroughly ganked circadian rhythm, with her feeling awake and tired at seemlingly random times. This worsens if she doesn't give herself at least 24 hours without using her Quirk to "readjust" her circadian rhythm. Use of her Quirk has also affected her memory, with multiple periods of time in which multiple sets of occurrences happened simultaneously in ways that were simply not possible (or, at least, her subconscious considers impossible), leading to her long-term memory being a jumbled mess and her short-term memory being... spotty.

Hypothetically, her ability to stop time is limitless in duration, but several factors have lead to the three-second limit:
1: Miku ages at a normal rate while time is stopped, leading to her Time Stopper essentially shortening her life with each use.
2: Miku cannot breathe while using her Quirk, making the hard limit about four minutes before loss of consciousness cancels her time-stopper.
3: The longer she spends in stopped time, the worse the damage in terms of conflicting memories, and times longer than 5 seconds result in headaches with an intensity of 5 and increasing for each second she keeps time stopped. Worth noting is that, at second one, the headache is at intensity 1.
4: Stopping time is draining, and gets more so with each use by the second. Right now, a total of 12 seconds is the best she can do in a series without taking a moment to rest.

Appearance: Magnus is a very large fellow, especially for his age, standing at 210 cm and weighing in at an incredible 195 kg. This, added with already having facial hair, makes him quite easily mistaken as an adult. Magnus generally wears tank tops, shorts, and sneakers, or sometimes jeans, a t-shirt or thin flannel shirt, and a hooded leather jacket.

Bio: An Icelandic foreign exchange student, Magnus came to Japan specifically in hopes of gaining entrance to the UA. Born in Landspítali University Hospital in Reykjavík, Iceland, to Erik Bjornsson and Freyja Guðmundsdóttir, Magnus Hafthor Gunnar Eriksson lived his youth primarily on the northeastern outskirts of Hafnarfjörður on his father's farm. Magnus had often helped his parents, soon discovering his powers at a young age when he lifted a massive boulder over his head, which, upon dropping it, promptly landed on Magnus' head, only to split in half while Magnus was left merely with a very slight bruise. As he grew older, Magnus only became stronger and tougher, often traveling around his homeland to lift Incredibly large stones, a tradition of Icelandic strongmen that evolved with the coming of quirks. Eventually it was decided by Magnus himself that he wished to become a hero, and after some amount of communication with the various hero schools around the world, it was decided that he would be off to Japan in an attempt to join the ranks of the UA.

Quirk Name: Unstoppable

Quirk Description: With a base amount of superhuman strength and durability, these qualities of his body quickly scale with his movement. The faster he moves, the stronger and tougher he becomes, an ability that can be confined to only a part of the body. For example, with a simple punch, his arm, by itself, will become stronger and tougher with the momentum of said punch.
