67th Tank Battalion, HQ Section, 2nd Company.
Early morning, Currently holding position outside the small riverside town of "Bitra"
The five T-72M's began their decent into the valley, from the north of "Bitra", in a line formation roughly 50 to 60 meters distance between each tank. The lead tank had a mine plow attached to its front hull, raised for now, but it will have to be taken out with the first volley. As soon as the tanks started down the face of the hill a line of old BMP-1's appeared on the crest of the hill and followed the T-72's with out hesitation, their were 4 of these personnel carriers with soldiers riding on top, cautiously scanning ahead of them watching for movement, or a glint of gunmetal in the early morning sun. The BMP-1s followed behind roughly 50 meters form the tanks. All of which moved at a restrained pace, as if they really didn't want to go into the valley or they didn't want to get too far ahead of follow on troops.
2nd Lt. Luther Hámund sat in his SPG-23 "Spearman" tank, he watched the first element of the enemies forces come down the valley in front of him. Pulling away from his scope he looked around the small tank destroyers interior. Looking to his left on the other side of the Auto loading mechanism the gunner sat looking though the sight of the cannon. Other than the view ports and a few screens there really wasn't a lot of anything in the turret. The SPG-23 was a wheeled vehicle very similar to the Italian Centauro B2, Just with Scandinavian influences like an advanced fire selector which included using smart missiles that could fire, with some assistance of a laser designatior, beyond visual range. Luther had dug his tank into a ditch that was just on the other side of a hedgerow. The long cannon was poking out the other side using the commanders para-scope camera to view over the hedgerow. The SPG-23's in 67th were upgraded to have these cameras similar to those found on the LGS Fennek from the German army.
"Calling all 67th, 2nd Company Call-signs this is Roman Actual, Prepare to fire on my command."
Once that order was called Luther looked at his gunner briefly before activating one of his screens to have the company wide force tracker, it showed all of the units in the company, and he zoomed out so the it would show the map of the town and the CWFT would show all the location of units in the AO there.
"Okay guys steady," Luther called over platoon vehicle comms, he was speaking to Roman 4 commanders. "Aim for the T-72M's first, then the BMP-1's and their dismounts. Smooth is slow slow is fast gentlemen."
"Roman Actual to all 67th, 2nd Company Call-Signs," The commander spoke. "Weapons Free!"
The moment Luther heard the order he tensed up, as he keyed the mic to speak to the platoon of Tank Destroyers the rest of the company fired there weapons. Tanks ahead of them in prepared positions fired there main guns shaking their camouflage netting.
"Roman 4-6 to all Roman 4 Victors," Luther said shakily "Engage at will. Over." just as he said that the tank destroyed lurched backwards pulling on its own camoflage netting as the massive gun fired making Luther grit his teeth.

Its NS lore, anything goes. Just view this as a map extension. Its currently 2018, just treat it like any MT roleplay.

Hmm, ok. Try fleshing posts up a bit and work on developing characters et cetera. I'll let you participate. What are you hoping to get out of the RP?

Even if they were accused of being spies, there's lots of places in the world where that sort of counter-response wouldn't play well, and I can see Cedoria using it to make propaganda hay.

Any chance to destroy communism is welcome, and Imperii Magna would love to be involved with this, using the newly-discovered training of insurgents by China as an impetus to send "peacekeeping forces" to the Asian continent. Imperii Magna is located in modern-day Argentina + some of Brazil, and is a hyper-capitalist society with a well-developed mercenary/PMC military. Awaiting your approval, will send writing sample if I get it.
