It never ended. And while I won't be able to post for another week while I finish a personal project, I'll see about poking Kass in the coming days to maybe get things rolling abit.

On the note of my recent absence, I've been busy as of late, but I'll work on getting up a post sometime tomorrow. Besides that, we are indeed still on and I'm currently having to do some reformatting of the current mission layout. Anyone who wants to apply and jump into the IC should do so sometime in the next 24 or so hours. Anyways, have a great day guys and here's to the beginning of the Recon mission!

Fantrum wrote:Name|Rank|Role: Sergeant Johnathan Hess, Second Squad lead
Age|Height|Weight: 24, 6' 3", 197lbs
D.O.B|Birthplace|Nationality 1st July, 1947. Fort Kent, Maine, USA. US citizen
Sex|Sexuality: Dont ask dont tell, hetero
Appearance Image & Description: Built lean, he has a small scar about an inch long on his forehead above his eye from a hunting accident as a kid.(Image)
Biography: Born to Eunice and Heidi Hess, Johnathan is a second generation immigrant from germany, his parents having moved to the US shortly after the end of world war two. John spent his early days hunting and camping in the northern Maine wilderness with his seven siblings. His oldest brother having been killed in germany as a baby, Johnathan found himself the defacto head of his brothers and sisters, a position he didnt take lightly. Learning the essential art of leadership, it wasnt long before he matured enough to wish for more in his life. At the tender age of 18 John answered the nation's call and he enlisted in the US army.
Of course 1965 was a turbulent year for america, and John was sent overseas to fight for freedom in a land not his own. Over the years, he rose to the rank of Corporal before an unfortunate incident saw him busted down to PFC. But in a time of desperate needed, it wasnt long before he'd earned his stripes back and more. Now he is nearing the end of his second enlistment and he carries on his shoulder the rank of Sergeant, a burden he doesnt regard carelessly. As five tours of duty in vietnam have so thoroughly thought him, his leadership could see his men live to see another day, or go home in a box.
Personality: John cares first and foremost for his soldiers health and well being, while military curtesy takes a back burner to achieving the mission objectives. He is informal with his subordinates and respects experience above all else, which no one has more of than him.Non-Required Information
Past Occupations, Positions, Roles, Ranks and Achievements: He worked a few part time jobs coming up, but has spent the most amount of time with the army. Nothing out of the ordinary for a soldier of his experience, with the addition of a bronze star he earned defending his platoon during the TET offensive, and two purple hearts.
Equipment: Pretty much stock issue with the exception of a Trenchgun he carries with him just about everywhere, regardless of how heavy his pack is. The gun also has the crudely carved inscription "Sweep this" on the receiver.
Moral Alignment: Probably closest to Chaotic Good/Chaotic neutral
Likes: Hunting, nighttime, drinking heavily, the sound a shotgun makes when you rack it
Dislikes: Surprises, really cramped tunnels, trenches, officers
Theme Song: This works, or this too, either one!

There's been a bit of a logical twist due to the current setting of the RP, in contrast to the anime. All will become obvious in a little while.

Princess or Inquisitor, it doesn't matter in the end. We all know what happens when the Green Men meet the Natives...
Either way. Post up this weekend or early next week. Might wait for a bit more to happen though, since I'm already through introductions. Who's taking lead in the convoy?

According to Yantz, it's Staff Sergeant Fletcher in C511, as he said that vehicle order was to be in the way he listed off who was going to where.
