Now he is nearing the end of his second enlistment and he carries on his shoulder the rank of Sergeant, a burden he doesnt regard carelessly. As five tours of duty in vietnam have so thoroughly thought him, his leadership could see his men live to see another day, or go home in a box.

Personality: John cares first and foremost for his soldiers health and well being, while military curtesy takes a back burner to achieving the mission objectives. He is informal with his subordinates and respects experience above all else, which no one has more of than him.

Past Occupations, Positions, Roles, Ranks and Achievements: He worked a few part time jobs coming up, but has spent the most amount of time with the army. Nothing out of the ordinary for a soldier of his experience, with the addition of a bronze star he earned defending his platoon during the TET offensive, and two purple hearts.

Equipment: Pretty much stock issue with the exception of a Trenchgun he carries with him just about everywhere, regardless of how heavy his pack is. The gun also has the crudely carved inscription "Sweep this" on the receiver.

Moral Alignment: Probably closest to Chaotic Good/Chaotic neutral

Likes: Hunting, nighttime, drinking heavily, the sound a shotgun makes when you rack it

Dislikes: Surprises, really cramped tunnels, trenches, officers

Biography:Born to Michael Polchek and Tiptree Cooper,Michael was an African-American who was born in Topeka,Kansas,his dad Coming from L.A.,While his mother was a Native to Topeka,he had 2 siblings,one female and one male,his brother was nearly killed when he went into the forest but they both escaped,in school he was bullied for his skin color and his grades,due to his teacher deliberately failing him due to the time period,in one time he beat a student due to the student's racist tendency,he reported both the teacher's deliberate failing and the aforementioned student he beat,after that time he moved up in his grade,finishing 2nd in final examinations and eventually graduated,after that he worked in the family bakery for about a year or so before his sister took the job.

Cooper then enlisted in the US Armed Forces at age 20,he was sent to Vietnam,he worked up his way to SSGT. Until he had been caught disobeying orders,that time his squad was ambushed by a Vietnamese Machine gun,he was ordered to retreat but instead he grabbed the injured,he earned a reputation but however was demoted Straight to Corporal,and he was assigned as a guard to an FOB,soon he had been bored to complete hell with the menial tasks he was assigned to,at least until now.


Personality: Cooper cares about both his life and his fellow squad mates' life,but he is willing to be Disobeying orders to rescue even a friend,he is formal to his squadmates and respects his experienced friends,Cooper overall is not really an Altruist,but he is willing to become one when time calls.

Biography: Enoli grew up on a ranch, the oldest of four siblings. He loved his parents. His parents loved him. But... confound it all, his life was horrible. There was absolutely nothing to do on the reservation, save for cleaning up the manure of the farm animals. He'd done all the hikes. He'd walked pretty darn close to everywhere on the reservation. He'd tried reading books, and they were okay distractions. They weren't anything incredible, and they couldn't take him away in a meaningful way.

He couldn't afford college, and they already fitted his younger siblings up for tending the ranch. He was the lovable black sheep of his tribe, so he signed himself up for the army, figuring that Vietnam would be at least something interesting. He got through the training well enough, not that the military needed the best and brightest for the moment. He went to work blowing up bridges, but soon people with electrical engineering degrees replaced him. Still, the experience was nice. As a grunt, he got a bullet to the left shoulder. He was transported back to the forward base's hospital. The nurses there figured that he wouldn't be of much use in that war, so he was sent home to be with family. Family? Great. Home? Oh, gosh...

He mentally tried as hard as he could to get better, and perhaps that's the reason why he left the hospital with a clean bill of health a month before his caretakers had expected. He soon returned to the army, where, after a month or two further of training, he got a promotion to Specialist. And for a whole new exotic world? He was the first of his division to sign up.

Personality: Pretty darn close to anything's better than sitting around back on the farm. He's down for anything, and he'll do it with a smile. That said, explosives are really fun.

The one difference here is that he has bright red hair, not blonde.

Biography: Jimmy was born and raised in and around New Orleans, Louisiana by a single mother. He was smart and his mother loved him dearly, but nonetheless Jimmy still managed to develop a certain desire to witness some chaos. He was by no means cruel or heartless, and it was less so that he wanted to have an excuse to be violent. But still, in his heart there was something that was drawn to conflict. In school he was rarely very good, though all his teachers said he had the brain for it, and when not in school he loved to get up to mischief. The one escape he had from his poor, often boring childhood was the guitar, an instrument he picked up when he was 9. Everyone he knew said he was a genius musician, and that he could probably make a career out of it. Through high school, this was where Jimmy knew he wanted to end up eventually, but the draw to chaos was still there. He knew that before he could become a musician, he had to satisfy that itch.

So when he turned 18, he immediatly joined the army. However, though he was sneaky and mischievous, he was not a killer. So instead of going for plain old infantry, or taking up the machine gun as his instructors wanted him to do, he instead continued training to become a medic. He liked people, and if he was going to go to war, he figured he might as well try and do something positive as well.

He was deployed to Vietnam in 1969, where he completed his first tour, serving with distinction. During his time there, he bought an M14 from an older soldier who was about to leave the Army, and he carried it with the pride of a mother. However, despite his well loved weapon, he rarely fired it, instead choosing to live by the traditional code of a medic and only fighting when it was to protect himself or a patient. The few times he did find himself in an engagement however, he was well suited to it, and he felt that he was almost addicted to the war. His strange draw to conflict was well taken care of in country, and pulling lead out of screaming, thrashing men while guns cracked and bullets whizzed over his head was the place where he felt just a little too comfortable. When his tour ended and he was back in the states, he had trouble adjusting again, feeling just a little out of place in a peaceful society.

So, when the Gate opened, Jimmy was all over it. He tried to get to the fighting as the strange inter-dimensional people poured into his world, but was unable to pull it off. But, once the invasion was pacified, he wasn't left without a chance to return to the life he was so good at. He signed up as soon as he was able to go through the Gate, and his history as a well respected and decorated Medic all but secured him a position in the expedition.

Personality: Jimmy is happy go lucky and often considered a bit of a joker. Though often times he is considered a frustration by his superiors, due to his tendency to slack off and shirk his duties, he is well loved by his peers. Not only is he a dedicated medic when in the field, but he is also a just generally positive human in general. He cares little for race, gender or sexual orientation, being too focused on his desire to just make friends and enjoy life to the fullest.

Due to his often odd obsession with conflict and chaos, and his otherwise kind and friendly personality, most have often referred to Jimmy as an enigma. He tends to be a bit of a rebel without a cause, and this is something that he takes a certain pride in.
