President Valerio Delfalco stated that he wont be running in next election

President Valerio Delfalco stated in conference that he wont be running in the presidential election "It is the democratic thing to do, I have led the party and Aruia long enough. Its time to stand down with respect." He stated regarding the future election.
When asked about the Ruios wargames "Vancouvia and Ruios have every right to express their security ties, we have every obligation and justice to respond to something happening right next door. We expect more understanding to the timing however and suggest that Ruios ministry express a more considerate approach to his neighbors."

The Aruian Liberal Party board stated that plans to call for candidates are irrelevant as of this moment.

Renewables Entirely Satisfy Corindi Energy Demand for First Time

Image
Coron Electro turbines installed in Carmo Bay

On December 4th, 4:32AM to 5:17AM, Corindia's power demand was entirely met by renewable energy sources, primarily composed of offshore wind units. High winds striking at the time of day with the least power demand caused natural gas generation plants around the country to cease operation. While this development is largely symbolic, it represents a moral victory for the CPP and the Abelló administration, which was elected into office on promises of achieving 50% renewable usage by 2020. While this goal is likely not to be met (on an average day, renewable sources provide only 30-40% of Corindia's power), the programs initiated to reach it have generally been regarded as successful, with companies such as Coron Electro, Corindi Dynamics, and Turbolyca making major forays into turbine development under a favorable tax and regulatory climate.

Coastal workers have generally been pleased with the jobs brought by the increase in coastal infrastructure needed to operate these installations, and although several communities and islands have rejected installations due to appearance concerns, the amount of new installations per year has increased every year since 2015. Solar projects have also seen a boom, although not to the same degree, as firms such as Viridios and SolPoder are contracted by other companies to offset their power usage with solar installations to take advantage of tax benefits. More and more private citizens are also taking advantage of these tax credits, although it remains to be seen if such ventures will become a significant contributor to the Corindi power portfolio.

Ruios Dismisses War Game Concerns.

Image

Ruios is conducting military drills with Vancouvia

Chancellor Don Hernandez has dismissed the growing fears over it's current military exercise with Vancouvia. Several nations have come forward to express concern about the nature and timing of the war games which has seen over 5000 troops engage in maneuvers across the southern plains of Ruios. Chancellor Hernandez has however sought to clam fears by issuing a statement in defence of the exercise with it's Vancouvian counterparts:

"The conflict in Orsandia has highlighted the need to maintain and strengthen our regional security and adapt to new rising threats. I am aware that several nations are concerned about our decision to conduct military drills and the timing of this in respect to Orsandia. While it could be argued that the dust is still settling on that horrific conflict and the lives of people affected are still in shock, Ruios never wants to see a repeated conflict on Gaelitc soil. The purpose of our military drills is to ensure that we are ready to react and suppress any such violence that would threaten the sanctity and stablity of our region. I urge fellow nations to support our intentions and help to preserve the security and strength of Gael".

The military drills are due to last several weeks with a small break over Christmas. Elements of Ruios Army, Navy and Airforce are operating through various exercies and scenarios with forces from Vancouvia.

Baslov Shipyards Shut Down Amid Protests
12-3-18

Early this morning, the Baslovian City Council announced that the Baslovian Shipping Collective was shutting down its operations in Baslov as a result of "low business." Within hours, the Baslovian Worker's Council confirmed the closure and added that the shipyard would be closed until further notice.

This comes after months of export drops have left many angry and protesting the situation. In Baslov, some 40,000 protesters took to the streets over night, forcing the local police to call in the Army, which used tear gas to disperse the crowds. A similar situation erupted in Turvin Gahda in the South of Turvin, where the export driven local economy has been broken. There, nearly 50,000 took to the streets in anger, smashing the local FWC office. As a result, the Minister of Defense ordered a Curfew in both cities effective tonight. Anyone out past 2100 will be arrested.

Baslov and Turvin Gahda are only the most violent of the protests, however. As the recession has deepened, Thuzbek communities have begun reporting an all time low in tax income. This is occurring mostly in the rural areas, where farmers still pay taxes in cash. In Zalmen, a town to the north west of Turvin Gahda, the local councilman reported a 90 percent decrease in tax revenues. The local councilman stated that "this is not due to the lack of ability to pay, but out of protest. Farmers are claiming they are not being supported by the government and that pesticides are so expensive that taxes cannot be paid."

While prices have increased, the Federal Worker's Council still believes they have money to pay.

"Without the taxes being paid, there won't be any pesticides to buy," one representative of the FWC said in an anonymous interview. "In the last few years, we have imported more pesticides than ever before. Now, with the sanctions, we are having a major shortage."

The shortage of pesticides is making many people nervous about crop yields come February.

"Between the lack of pesticides and the lack of Collective support, we are facing one of the most nerve racking seasons this generation," a farmer's union representative said today. "We cannot simply act like we can feed the nation without these things."

However, the town of Zalmen may soon see the government support- but not the support they want.

"We will not, under any circumstances, allow taxes which support the people to go unpaid," an official for the National Police Force said in a statement. "If there is an active and community wide attempt to withhold the resources our nation needs, we will stamp it out."

National Police units were seen leaving their posts in Turvin Gahda only hours after the statement.

Road to Recovery

For much of the decade the Xrevaran economy has been stagnated due to unrelenting calamities taking place at least annually. The past fiscal year marks the first year since 2011 that the nation has gone without disaster with it currently continuing on 17 months disaster free. The Xrevaran economy grew by 1.8% during the 2017-2018 fiscal year and is projected to increase by 2.7% by 2020. This new growth has come with some consequences however, as it increases the income gap of the nation’s richest and poorest. Debate has swirled into Parliament on how to manage the ever widening gap in maintaining a level of income equality between 0.345 and 0.391. Though in the early stages of discussion popular ideas such as a minimum income and increasing taxes have continuously popped into debate.
Multiple job initiatives lead alongside overseas partners have played a vital role in helping the nation recover economically. The $1.5 billion dollars received via the Noronnican International Development Fund (NIDF) are currently being used to back numerous socio-economic policies like subsiding the agriculture industry as it continues to recover from the wildfire losses as well as new initiatives to help diversify the Xrevaran economy. Though many worry about the logistics of Xrevaro’s long term economic plan which has yet to be unveiled. Many economists echo the sentiment that the nation’s economic growth will be short lived without further and more extensive job initiatives that maintain long term growth.
With the nation seemingly on the path to full recovery, some in the nation are looking beyond Xrevaro’s borders to extend some token of aid. Grand Priestess Sesián has established a camp on the shores of Ozran to accommodate the slow trickle of economic refugees from Thuzbekistan. She also has been seeking funding for training programs to train priests in the basics of first aid in an Isle-wide aid provision program claiming “many are in need of a compassionate hand not directly attached to the desires of a government”.

The following is a description of a radio show by Alex Nones, a prominent Ahnslen talk show host known for his pursuit of the "truth", talking with Negarakitan deep state specialist Galip Salik

Menna SHAMli? Dam attack false flag revealed!
Image

A: Well well well. If the sicko globalists weren't happy with just poisoning our children with VACCINATIONS, they have turned to another one of their favourite methods.

G: You're dead right Alex. The Menna Shulian govment, a known pawn of the agenda, has recently pulled off a false flag attack with hundreds of innocents dead. This is families we are talking about. It makes me sick! The audio plays Galip spitting, although it may just be a sound effect

A: Now I know what some of the sheep are thinking, is this just another tin hat loony raving and harming the victims? NO! THIS IS REAL PEOPLE, THIS IS THEIR PLAN! He takes a breath and sips on some unidentified drink, before continuing I'm sorry, I just get so goddam ANGRY when they pull this type of sh*t. This is children we are talking about. CHILDREN! some kind of sob is heard

G: Well yes, it is. But the proof is all here that this was a false flag attack. Dams are built to withstand bombs, it takes a huge huge explosion to destroy one. Like you'd need a nuke to take these out. How am I supposed to believe that some terrorist group pulled that off? How dumb do the globetards think we are?

A: EXACTlY! The sheer amount of explosives needed to blow a dam don't just come out of nowhere. And how do you hide that much explosive? This is just ridiculous! It's not even a well done fake job.

G: We can go deeper though. Think about the name Blue Yesterday! Blue means sad, Yesterday talks about the past! It is the government trying to make us forget our traditions and join their his intonation changes as if to hint at "they" being a certain group, while not obliquely referencing any one group new world order. This cannot stand. People should revolt against the modernist agenda if it continues like this!

A: You're goddam right. First a sham attack, then a sham name! Idiots. Ok, this is epic, we're now getting reports that known gremlin Hailes has won in Wesland. It's two birds with one stone for these puppet masters looking down on us. They must think humans are SOO DUMB. THAT ENDS NOW! I'm ALEX NONES, and this is the fact battle! With you after the break, when we will talk about the homoisation of Christmas. This isn't a war anymore, its a Christmas GENOCIDE! Stay tuned.

It cuts to an ad for Menit Makan's new range of microwave tendies. END OF RECORDING

Construction Starts on Carmo to Gran Lago HVDC Line

Image
An existing HVDC converter bank servicing the island of Quital

The CDI has announced a 150 million Corin contract with Greenwall Construction Group for the construction of a massive high voltage direct current line from Carmo to Gran Lago. This is the first major Corindi HVDC line constructed entirely on land, although there are many lines servicing major outlying islands, and is in response to the nation's increasing reliance on offshore wind platforms for energy, which has the potential to cause strain on the grid due to geographical and intermittency concerns. Much of Corindia's grid was constructed during the 1970s, with some major parts dating back to the 1940s, and while so far no outages have occurred, CDI analysts have predicted that continued reliance on a transmission grid designed for centralized natural gas plants would eventually cause residential and industrial blackouts by 2025.

The line from Carmo to Gran Lago is intended to circumvent a major systemic bottleneck which has been materializing when wind generators in Southern Corindia are active and the natural gas turbine facilities of the major industrial city of Gran Lago ramp down. The Carmo-Gran Lago connection was never meant to handle such loads, and losses and inefficiencies are mounting. The CDI is open in its intention to use this project as a "test case", for further development of Corindi transmission systems, and has also requested bids on frequency modulation installations. Construction is expected to be completed in 2020.

Gran Teran, December 7, 2018
|Constitution Ratified||S.J.|
This morning in a majority vote, the constitution was officially passed by the Jimenean constitutional convention. Immediately after, a notice was sent to Lucas Canone who was in Del Agua for the past week for the baptizing of his newest son, Michael, to inform him that he was expected to return to Gran Teran for an official coronation and ascension to the seat of the Hearnity. The coronation is currently scheduled for tomorrow at 8:00 pm, specifically chosen for the Feast Day of The Immaculate Conception on the Church calendar. After the coronation, Canone will take on all the responsibilities listed in the constitution and begin his life as the new head of the Aguanist Monarchy of San Jimenez. Lucas Canone will be accompanied by his wife, Mary Canone, and their newborn son to Gran Teran where they will take permanent residence. Before his departure, Canone addressed the press and answered a few of our questions.

Reporter: Lucas! How do you plan on dealing with the former Republicans?

Canone: Now that war is over and peace has finally been obtained, I suggest giving amnesty to Republican soldiers who were not involved in the killing of civilians. Their leaders and prominent adherents of Catholic extermination must be dealt with severely, however. Our current goal is to move forward for the bettering of the Jimenean people.

Reporter: Sir, what are your thoughts on the current clergy sex abuse crisis that is currently crippling the Church? Are you open to prosecuting not only priests but bishops?

Canone: The crisis that has plagued our Church has brought incredible sadness and mourning. We would like to see those victims receive the care and compassion they need while the abusers are brought to justice. Whether a priest commits the act or a bishop does, they will be brought to justice and I am sure the Church will assist us to do so. Bishops who are being proven to cover up such acts will more than likely receive the same treatment. These horrible actions are not in accordance with Jimenean morality.

Reporter: Mr. Canone, you yourself have suggested that immigrants coming into the country ought to be required to convert to Catholicism before citizenship can be granted. Do you have any plans to go forward with this?

Canone: Indeed I did and I do. It is for the security of Jimenean identity and culture and ensuring that San Jimenez maintains its cultural identity while still welcoming others. That is all the questions I have time for at the moment so I must give you all my blessings as I depart. Have a great evening!

The Hearn is expected to arrive in Gran Teran sometime tonight and further preparations for the coronation are underway.

|State Meeting With Dragao do Mar Proposed||International|Image
Canone offered to meet with the current prime minister of Dragao do Mar, who lost his bid for re-election recently, Leonardo Pinheiro to address issues and concerns both nations have after the Guadalupana rise to power. Before the recent war, Dragao do Mar and San Jimenez enjoyed a mutual friendship and San Jimenez had considered them a crucial ally on the global stage. Since the war, however, relations between the two have been strained. Hearn Canone is inviting the PM with the hope of re-establishing a foundation of friendship and launching San Jimenez back into the global arena. More than likely, it will be one of the last international activities of PM Pinheiro's career and Canone has expressed his fondness over the PM. He has also announced that he extends his hand in friendship to PM-elect Lacerda and looks forward to seeing the progress he will bring to Dragao do Mar come 2019. Hearn Canone and PM Pinheiro will meet in Gran Teran, San Jimenez if the proposal is accepted.

That is all the news we have for you at the moment, goodnight San Jimenez!

LEAKS: Files Leak Onto Internet, Reveal Ballistic Missile Program
12-8-18

Almost a month after Party heads were briefed on the Clandestine Operations of the government in a political victory for the Islamic Socialist Party and the Conservative Party, files have surfaced on the deep web about a Ballistic Missile Program. The program, code named Project XJ1 according to the files, has been in effect for at least five years. October's mid air explosion was the first and failed test, according to the files. And another bombshell: The cost.

According to the leaked files on XJ1, the cost of this research over the last five years is assumed to be at least 1.5-2 billion USD, a tremendous amount. Questions are swirling as to the source of the funding, especially since 1 billion of that has been since January, 2018.

This comes as protests and riots have been taking place in Turvin Ghada, Baslov, and, on a smaller scale, Barshlon and Ashluv. These riots, which have already had the Army called in and Marshall law instituted, are expected to intensify as the protesting continues sporadically throughout the cities.

The Defense Minister doubled down on his orders today and issued a new curfew of 1800. "We do not wish to impose our will by force, but we will not allow law and order to be trampled upon," the DM's office said in a statement. "We will use all means necessary to make our streets safe again."

But even as chaos rules in Baslov and Turvin Ghada, questions are mounting in Parliament since the leak now frees MPs to question the government.

"We have been tricked, deceived, and robbed," an Islamic Socialist MP said on the floor this morning. "We have demanded money be spent on urgent repairs to our bridges, dams, and roads. We have begged for money to aid the worker throughout the crisis we find ourselves in. Instead, our money was being poured into a failed ballistic missile program as part of the Internationalists' plans to spread communism across the region! While money was flowing to the PLF in Orsandia, our people were suffering!"

The MP, Fevzi Yiğit, was quickly silenced after his statement, being forced to relinquish the floor and not being recognized again.

Despite emotional ranting, the Internationalists were not the only ones implicated in the XJ1 Files, which state the project began in 2013 under then Prime Minister Emin Vedat, now head of the Islamic Socialist Party.

"I had no knowledge of the program," Emin Vedat said in a statement shortly after the release of the files. "The Thuzbek Intelligence Service was in control from day one. This is the first I or any of the Islamic Socialist Party have heard of the program."

While it is true that the TIS is mostly Autonomous, it has long been believed to be the right arm of the Executive. It will remain to be seen whether Emin Vedat knew of and authorized the project. However, in order to perform the October Test, the TIS needed PM approval, which they received in 2015. Furthermore, Prime Minister Cihangir allegedly directed his agencies in secret to divert funding from their departments for the program.

If true, the allegation will implicate the whole of the executive and reveal a long suspected culture of secrecy surrounding Cihangir's inner circle. The measures taken to ensure the usually rebellious government may very well have been extreme.

The Prime Minister has not commented on these allegations, but instead released a statement vowing to "route out the traitor."

"We will not rest until the security of our government is reaffirmed. Rest assured we will find the culprit and they will be brought to justice," a spokesman for the PM's office said hours after the release.

The Spokesman did not take questions.

Thuzbek State News will follow the story closely.

Prime Minister Mitchell Ledger's call for a snap election answered

Image

By Harrison Wall

At the last gathering of Parliament, the Prime Minister submitted a motion to the rest of the Forum regarding a snap election, before the scheduled one in April of 2019.

The motion was an unexpected one, and the Forum immediately set to vote on the motion this evening.

It was quickly passed by a huge amount of the Forum in favour of the PM's motion, the voting being scored at 323-26.

Prime Minister Ledger said that he wanted the people of Kotelia to "strengthen his hand in the Forum", to pass laws that he said will make Kotelia additionally "safe, strong and stable".

"At the last meeting of this house, I issued a motion to vote on the prospect of a snap election. At this meeting of this house, the motion was passed very strongly. Rather than this being an opportunity for the ministers sitting across from me to take control of this Commonwealth, and thrust Kotelia into the unknown, let it be an opportunity for my government to further our nation's prosperity, to make it economically more competitive with other countries and to secure it's future."

After the Forum had closed the sitting, the Prime Minister was willing to speak to us regarding his choice to call this risky election.

Wall: Prime Minister, thank you very much for taking the time to speak with us. So... you submitted a motion to call for a snap election, almost half a year before the next scheduled one... why did you submit that motion?

PM Ledger: I primarily wanted the country to realise that... to pass these laws and the various legislation that my party wants to, I need the public on my side. I need the public to share my goals of an even more prosperous nation, and that means going to the ballot boxes in January.

Wall: You hold a ten seat majority in the Forum already, why have the risk of throwing it all away?

PM Ledger: It's not the majority I need quite frankly. There are members of the Conservative party who do not want the party's laws to see the light of day, and I simply need more seats in the Forum. I can't change this country if the public do not believe in the Conservative party.

Wall: Prime Minister, thank you.

PM Ledger: You are very welcome.

KGP1 Winter Testing | Day One

Image

By Jack McKeith

The fluorescent paint, aerodynamic grills and most importantly, next season's cars were all out in force today at the first day of seven days of winter testing.

Winter testing is scheduled to be held on the 8th December, tomorrow the 9th December, 15th December, 16th December, 5th January, 6th January and 7th January, the final three dates coming in 2019.

The first race is set to be held in Isambard on the 2nd February, with the second race in the Isambard series coming the following day.

2018's Driver's Champion Daniel Tomas-Archambault, was the fastest in testing, but remember that testing is rarely representative of the results on race day.

OSTER OFFICIALS ON THUZBEK MISSILE PROGRAM: MEANS TO THREATEN OSTEHAAR

In a first response by a senior Oster official since the news about Thuzbekistan's Ballistic Missile Program broke last Saturday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Elena Brahurer commented on the leak during a press conference on Sunday morning. "We are still studying the material," the Minister said, "but in the end it is clear as day that Thuzbekistan, as always, keeps trying to develop the means to threaten Ostehaar and its allies in and around Gael, even at the cost of undermining the Thuzbek economy." Brahurer added that the matter is mainly under the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense. Prime Minister Dorias was present in the conference and later reaffirmed Brahurer's words. "We have seen what Thuzbek influence had done to Orsandia, and now the entire region knows that it was never going to stop there," Dorias said.

FNN's national security commentator, Dr. Jehn Haalfihr, explained what ballistic missiles are and what measures can be deployed to defend from them. "Ostehaar has been developing an advanced interceptor with assistance from Miklania since the early 2000's," said Haalfihr. "It is believed that such a system would be able to prevent Thuzbek missiles from striking Ostehaar." As reported almost a year ago, the first batch of operational IM-1 interceptors has been delivered to the Oster Air Force. "It is too early to assess the chances of success of the Thuzbek missile program, but there is no reason to underestimate Thuzbekistan's scientists and engineers. This is a serious threat and should be handled as one."

To the West Once Again

In the wake of the recent wave of crises throughout the Isle, the Razz and the 351st Council addressed the nation today stating that "There is no need for alarm, our priority is the safety and security of our citizens both at home and in our territories abroad. Though we have been simply sitting on the fence, watching as this chaotic storm claims our neighbors, it is not our intention nor is it yours as you have let us know, to continue doing so. In order to show that we heed your voices and that we stand with those suffering abroad, we pledge to once more take an active role in regional affairs. We will do this not only for the safety and security of our citizens at home, but through great effort and coordination with our friends and neighbors abroad ensure safety and security for those in need wherever they may be."

Following-up on their recent pledge the government has already begun to coordinate a relief effort with its counterpart in Menna Shuli as the nation attempts to and has begun to subsidize Arra Airways in order to cover their losses as they discount their prices for those in Roendavar seeking to flee the recent Treiorevikos in the wake of King Vladimir IV Draculul Avarești death.

However, while the government also has plans to assist Orsandrian Government in stabilizing the nation, with the recent condemnation of Ruios over their military exercise with Vancouvia and not to mention public concerns over the resurgence of United Republican military strength in the Southern Sea. This has also brought with it complications on the government's stance on the situation in Noronica. For those of you who don't know the Grand Principality and its Nyssic Allies to the north have been on great terms up until the outbreak of civil war ravaged Noronica during the 1980s. While the Grand Principality has attempted to maintain cordial relations with the nation in the wake of its forced regime change, the current government struggle and the situation in Arván has managed to gain the Grand Principality's interest though officials say no action will be taken outside of possibly sending a peacekeeping force should the Overlord allow it, until the situation further develops.

For those searching for a bit more positivity today the well anticipated film Kadra, When the Winds Change is set to cinemas tomorrow night. The film follows the life of a fictional young Creacian Girl, known as "Northern Osean" at the time, named Kadra as she struggles to maintain a normal life in a crumbling society and ultimately has it altered by the outbreak of the Great Gael War and the invasion Yuba and her home island of Creacia. Through the hardships, joy and heartbreak experienced throughout the turbulent period, its the bonds of family and friends and a strong will that'll hopefully get her and her loved ones through those trying times.

The film is based on the true story of Poloma Takiki "The Northern Vixen", a war hero during the time-period who was forced to join the militia after her home was invaded by Flandrian Forces in early July of 1906. She was made famous for leading the recently orphaned children of her village to safety and assisting the Militia in its gorilla raids against the invading Flandrians while attempting to raise her own children and cope with the distance created by her husband fighting in Verdon. The film already has a rating of 95% on Shanti's Intrest from critics who have already seen the film and is projected to be the box office hit of the winter season.

After Backlash, Violent protests, Cihangir Makes Statement
12-9-18

Yesterday, a sizable leak occurred when documents detailing the existence, cost, and history of a Ballistic Missile Program called XJ1 made its way onto the internet. The documents laid bare the extent of the program which was assumed to exist after a rocket exploded in Northern Thuzla. Shortly afterwards, a Baslovian woman was arrested for posting a picture of a piece that allegedly came from the rocket that read "XJ-1". Now, only a month after the Parliament party heads were given access to classified intelligence, those documents are confirming that Project XJ-1 is fully underway.

In response to the massive outcry in Parliament and on the streets, Prime Minister Alaattin Cihangir made a statement.

"I can confirm the existence of a Ballistic Missile Program," he began. "I authorized the September Test of a rocket which ultimately failed and brought to light the existence of the program. However, I assure the Thuzbek people that not only were the funds available for the mission, but that all the infrastructure projects and economic aid packages were left untouched. The funds were pulled from other sources within the military and not from those programs which are maintaining our great nation. I can also assure the people of the region and our nation that these missiles are not meant to be a threat to other nations, but a shield for our own. For decades, nations in close proximity to us have built and maintained ballistic missiles. We, as a sovereign state, have the right to defend ourselves from threats both foreign and domestic. These missiles are the way to ensure peace in the Eterna is not disturbed."

The statement comes after a vicious riot in Baslov left 30 wounded, including officers. Some 300-350 people have been arrested in Baslov since the curfew was announced. Protesters and rioters alike are angered over the lack of support from the government and its stubborn attitude towards the world. Many blame Cihangir himself for the sanctions and now worry that Thuzbekistan is going to be hit with even more as Project XJ-1 is revealed. If more do come, the protests could grow wider.

"I repeat," The Minister of Defense said in another statement earlier. "We will not allow the protests to continue. I implore all honorable Thuzbeks in Baslov and Turvin Ghada to remain indoors tonight."

The army was called in on Friday to bring law and order back to the streets of Thuzbekistan, but have not been successful. Sources familiar with the general staff have confirmed that "more drastic measures will be introduced in the days to come." With the nation already under martial law in several cities, there is not much more besides the use of live ammunition that might quell the riots.

"The use of live ammunition may be the only way to deter further destruction of the city," an anonymous officer in the Baslovian National Police detachment said in an interview. "The rioters are looting stores, attacking government buildings, and destroying public property. The government has been extremely lenient as it does not wish to exacerbate the issue, but when riots begin again tonight, there will be no holding back if the behavior is repeated."

Thuzbek State News reminds readers that the curfew is 1800 and that all people caught out after 1800 will be arrested.

This has been Thuzbek State News.

CROWN PRINCE URGES PEACE AFTER 2 WEEKS OF TREIOREVIKOS, MUNICIPALITIES CHANGE THEIR STANCES

Image
Anti-Treiorevikos rally at Dociara City on December 8, the second largest after the Eire City Rally on the same day

It has been two weeks since the start of the 2018 Treirevikos and the Crown Prince has finally appeared in front of the public for the first time in the balcony of the Palace of the Royals, delivering a message to all Roendavarians. In other news, several municipalities across Roendavar has declared neutrality in Treiorevikos, pledging that they will not launch any coup attempts against the Crown Prince.

At around 9:36 A.M. on December 9, 2018, the Crown Prince Ivan Alexandru Coaștas Avarești appeared on the highest balcony of the Tower of Vines located in the Palace of the Royals, delivering a speech in front of a crowd numbering around 20,000. During his speech, he reiterated that "...This year's Treiorevikos shall continue to be closely monitored by the Roendavarian government. We are staying committed to avert major damaging crimes before they are committed. Our emergency services remains operational.". He also asked the people to "...stand for what is right and for what is just. Violence is not the answer". His speech comes 2 days after a major anti-Treiorevikos rally rocked the city of Eire, with almost 50,000 participants. The Grand Court also echoed the Prince's call for order. Andavarian President Lord Cătălin Alveus Văstin realeased a statement earlier this morning praising the Roendavarian police in averting "any major encounters". The Overseer of Eire City, Ion Arivectui, a prominent liberal voice in Roendavar, also praised the Roendavarian government, stating that "the current administration has done well in fostering good society relations in an, otherwise, culturally torn nation such as Roendavar...".

So far, the 2018 Treiorevikos has been rather uneventful for an event of this kind, with only 47 confirmed acts of legal crime recorded as of December 10. Attempts at preventing any major events are taken seriously by the government, with increased security at Roendavarian ports and airports in order to intercept any illegal trafficking of any substance, especially drugs that once crippled the region of Gael. The Roendavarian police are also taking extra measures, especially in Dociara CIty where much of the celebrations, or rather, crimes are being committed.

Several municipalities around Roendavar have also pledge their neutrality and swore not to launch any attack or coup attempts against the monarchs and the current Roendavarian Government. 10 out of 18 municipalities in Roendavar has sworn neutrality, the most prominent of them being Noacie Municipality, a strong voice against opposing the celebration of Treiorevikos, and Vișara Municipality in Sudever. Meanwhile, 1 out of 2 Estates in Roendavar has declared neutrality, this being Bronei Estate and the city of Făreizhe. Catedra Estate, the current seat of the Church of TIllianan, has presented their willingness to participate in Treiorevikos, calling the current government "a threat to divinity and religion" after the landmark proclamation of Protacism as the "Roendavarian religion" two years ago. Arvieno Municipality, the ruling municipality of Vastaros state, has also showed willingness in going against the Central Government, which did not surprise any as Vastaros has always been an instigator in Treiorevikos.

Despite the promising state of Treiorevikos currently, the government still reminds the people to be vigilant and careful in their decisions. There are still months left till the coronation of the Crown Prince and the end of Treiorevikos. This could mean that more opportunities for other major crimes can come into play sometime around December or January. Because of this, both Roendavar and Ainslie, a long time ally of the country, has agreed on the deployment of ARSF in Roendavar before, during, and after the funeral of the Late King Vladimir IV, which can help in maintaining peace and order and it can also guarantee the safety of other state leaders that would be attending such event.

THUZBEK REFUGEES FROM AINSLIE TO BE RELOCATED TO ROENDAVAR AT TILLIANAN WHILE CHURCH PROTESTS

Image
Halgecia Town, Roendavar's most northern town and near the site where a new town for the Thuzbek refugees will be constructed

With Thuzbekistan's economy going downhill due to a recession brought about by sanctions and economic mismanagement, Thuzbeks have been leaving the country en masse to their neighbors in Gael. Despite Roendavar's open immigration policies, Thuzbekistan-Roendavar relations still remain chilly as Roendavar view Thuzbekistan as a major threat to peace, especially in the country's north seas close to Thuzbekistan. Because of this, little to no Thuzbek refugees has arrived to Roendavar, not until now.

Newly elected Ahsnlen Governor of Wesland Brianna Hailes struck a deal with the Roendavarian Central Government and the Grand Court to relocate around 2,000 Thuzbeks to the country, the first time Roendavar would be accepting a large group of Thuzbeks. The accepting of the refugees were not a shock to the Roendavarians, as the country has been a beacon of hope for refugees in the area, deemed an ideal place for its extensive welfare system and lax immigration policies. However, what was strange about the agreement was where the Grand Court has decided to resettle the refugees. Thuzbeks are majority Muslim with culture far different from Roendavarians. They are also described as intensely religious and pious. Thus, it came as a shock to many that the 2,000 Thuzbek refugees would be relocated at the northern shores of Fina Island at Tillianan State, another fiercely religious but Catholic state.

The current leader of the Church of Tillianan, Cardinal Enik Seghaura stated in a homily on December 9 that "...although we accept the Thuzbek refugess wholeheartedly, this action by the Central Government may be seen as another way to further dilute the power of our already weakened church...". Far-right Catholic Radio Host of Tillianan State Radio Soma Neinera Vagianar said in a controversial segment of his talkshow Roendavar's sins, "These people are heathens who have no right to suck off the Roendavarian wealth. I just wish the ship that takes them here sinks and they all die. We have no place for... them."

Not all Roendavarians share their point of view. Several NGOs have praised the government for its continued support in advancing human welfare in the world and opening opportunities for "those who are at their lowest point". The group Roendavarians for Diversity have expressed their pleasure at the relocation of refugees, calling it "one step closer to a more colorful Roendavar". The Central Government has echoed these positive feedback and reiterates that they will continue to stay committed in welcoming refugees all across the world. The government also assures the public that this will not create any damages to economies. Several economists predict that increae in manpower on Aseara Municipality, the municipality where Fina Island is located, will be a boost to the local agricultural and logging industry.

PM Pinheiro confirms state visit to San Jimenez
and comments on the situation of MRU in Oturia

Image
PM Pinheiro in the official statement.

The serving Prime Minister of Dragão do Mar, Leonardo Pinheiro, who will end his mandate in January 6th, have done a official statement in this Monday (10). He confirmed the information that he agreed to attend to a state visit to San Jimenez, proposed by Hearn Lucas Canone. He also requested the government of Oturia to go back with the decision of criminalizing the presence of members of the MRU organization in the country. Read bellow parts of his speech.

Good evening everyone.
I'd like to thank the members of the press who accepted the invitation to attend to this official announcement.

Firstly, I'd like to thank the Marians who supported the candidacy of deputies and senators from my party, the PDN (National Democracy Party). I also thank the public organs which guaranteed the security and the legitimacy of the process. Regarding my post as leader of PDN, I've decided to resign to it in the next year of 2019 in favor for another member of the party, which shall be elected by the board of directors of PDN
.

PM Leonardo Pinheiro publicly responded to San Jimenez's invite for a state visit.
I must say that it was very surprising to me to receive the invite of a state visit by Hearn Lucas Canone. I've firstly met Canone during his mandate as the president of San Jimenez, which was marked by a reformation of the Jimenean government that separated the church and the state, and now I'll meet him as the sovereign leader of his country for the rest of his life, following the new Jimenean constitution passed in the last week.

It was not a secret that Canone and me worked together in the past to promote a close partnership between Dragão do Mar and San Jimenez in the economic and political spheres, by increasing mutual trade and supporting each other in international situations. As Marian Prime Minister, I endorsed the admission of San Jimenez to the CU when it was still a Theocratic Republic, I supported Lucas Canone in the process of reformation and helped him to find a peaceful resolution in the conflict with the SLSJ. Canone, as Jimenean President, decided to send aid to the affected population of Messejana when the city faced severe flooding and accompanied me in a friendly meeting during the celebration of San Jimenez's National Independence Day. These are just some examples.

Even through we had great progresses working together, the war between the Jimenean government and the Gualalupana rebels has let me extremely desolated and put me in a very difficult situation, as Canone resigned presidency and decided to side with the rebels, while I believed in the legitimacy of the Jimenean government. As time passed and Guadalupanas with the support of the Jimenean people defeated the Republicans, many criticized me for the lack of a response, that occurred due to my concentration in the campaigning to have a re-election, which I couldn't achieve.

Yesterday, I decided to accept Canone's invite for a official state visit, which will happen during the time as Prime Minister that I still have, most probably in this weekend. Even through it was a unexpected proposal, I recognize it is a great opportunity for us to resolve unnecessary disagreements. For now, I can say that I expect to talk with the Hearn Canone about the powers conceded to him by the new Jimenean constitution, how he plans to deal with the impacts of the civil war and how the church will exerce influence over the newly reformed government
.

He commented the ban of the MRU in Oturian territory.
After a "investigation" by the AIC, the Oturian Intelligence, president Weston passed a law banning the the MRU movement from Oturia for supporting the Red Dragons terrorist group in November 22.

I highly support Oturia's affords to prevent future terrorist attacks, but the country should adopt a multilateral parameter to determine what organizations must be combated if its government want to be considered trustful by other nations. The President's decision to ban the MRU, which allegedly has members who support the Red Dragons terrorist group, occurred before consulting Marian authorities before. I'm not aware of any support to terrorism within republican movements in Dragão do Mar, albeit I'll request a further investigation to evaluate the accusation.

I advise President Weston to turn back and to suspend this harsh law to avoid more unnecessary arrests of MRU members, being them either Marians or Oturians

Prime minister response to Pihheiro

After the Dragao do Marian prime minister mentioned the MRU situation in Oturia, he was quick to respond.
At 1:30 Sebastian Hollas sent a hand written letter to the Marian prime minister here are the contents,
"Dear Pinheiro,
My name is Sebastian Hollan, Prime Minister of the Terrakie Kingdom of Oturia.
As you may know, I and King Tullis are working hard to reform the government into a constitutional monarchy.
We are working hard to free your people and remove the ban, but it is not the top priority of the Royal Council at the moment.
We can confirm that they have been moved to a teir 1 prison and are being treated well, we hope to release them soon.
-Prime Minister Sebastian Hollas"

Oturian sanctions on Thuzbekistan repealed

On December 9th at 11:00pm the Royal Council made a unanimous decision to remove the Oturian sanctions on Thuzbekistan opening trade with them once again.
No words have been spoken about the decision except for the prime minister's hope for an embassy, here's what he had to say.
"I think an embassy must be established to loosen the tension, president Weston only cared for her ideology and didn't think about the consequences of making Thuzbekistan an enemy.
I hope we can mend this sour relationship and i hope we can fix the relationship with other nations as well."

Originally planned to be accompanied by military personnel, the Royal Council has decided not to agitated the terrorists in fear of harming more innocent civilians.

As the relief workers head to do Terra's work and help others in need, Doma Jarret, head of the church, requested that the workers allow a temporary church be built alone with a shelter to house the homeless.
He has stated that the church is not necessary but could help people in these hard times.

The Church has bought it's own building materials, all of the building materials will arrive by truck thanks to Convoy International being kind enough to ship the 2,000,000 Vecs worth of building materials for free.
The material will arrive Tomorrow and building will start at 5pm tomorrow.

"Terra bless Oturia and Terra bless Menna Shuli, please protect everyone involved in the relief effort."

POLICE RAID OFFICE IN TRAIN ROW
Search of Department of Transportation headquarters comes after Inspector General blames officials for $12 million vanishing act

Image
Vehicles of the Federal Marshals Service are parked outside of the Ellsburgh office of the DoT, December 12, 2018

ELLSBURGH (FBCA)- The Federal Marshals Service today raided the Ellsburgh office of the Department of Transportation, an action that represents a stunning new development in the Baranor train row that has been simmering since early November.

Federal marshals combed through offices and cordoned off some sections of the building's fifth floor, plastering brown paper on the windows to block the interior from view. Employees were told to leave the building at 11:00 AM as police vehicles filled the parking lot; the rest of the workday was given off.

Sources within the Department of Justice say that Attorney General Dave Merenlaine ordered the raid after the congressional Inspector General released a 49-page report this morning, blaming "senior officials" at the Department for the disappearance of $12 million. The sum was originally allocated to fix broken track in Baranor province, but the Department's chief accountant reported the money missing on November 4. The Inspector General has been investigating the matter for almost two months.

The "senior officials" were not specified, but sources say they are likely to include Transportation Secretary Maisie MacDougall herself, which, if true, would constitute a major scandal for the Hallowell administration. In his report, the Inspector General recommended that the Department of Justice bring charges against the unnamed officials. Secretary MacDougall could not be reached for comment.

A federal grand jury "may" convene on December 19 to weigh indictments, according to a short statement from the Attorney General.

Federalists in Congress were quick to jump on the news. Sen. Cosette Tarry (F-Frasyrland) pointed to the alleged embezzlement "as an example of the dirty deeds and corrupt culture that pervade the DoT under this administration"- presumably referring to MacDougall's predecessor and former boss, Caden Coates, who resigned in November 2017 after sexual misconduct accusations. Rep. Kevin Alexandersson (F-Roonmore) tweeted that "Sec. MacDougall must resign immediately!"

It is likely that, if MacDougall is indicted on December 19 and does not resign, the Federalist Party will move to impeach her after the Christmas recess ends on January 4, according to the Presiding Officers of both houses of Congress. She would be the first to meet this fate since President Crawford's Treasury Secretary was removed for contempt of Congress in 2005.

The main item on Congress' to-do list before it adjourns on December 23 is to pass the 2019-20 budget, which was finally agreed upon by the bipartisan Budget Committee on Sunday. It will be voted on in the Chamber of Representatives tomorrow.

The Inspector General's report is an unwelcome distraction for the administration at a time when President Alasdair Hallowell is finishing preparations for his December 14 visit to Totkza. The President will be accompanied by many officials and is expected to sign a "major and comprehensive agreement" with President Francisco Améro, according to multiple diplomatic sources.

President Hallowell makes state visit to Totzka
  • President Alasdair Hallowell will be in Parazina on the 14th of August to discuss a new trade deal between Totzka and Almorea with President Améro
  • President Hallowell will be taking on a cultural tour of Parazina (details below)
  • Rumours suggest the visit will also include discussions on Totzkan and Almorean security and the possibility of Yhai independence.
Image
President Améro (left), President Hallowell (Right)

The Pirâmide has officially announced that Almorean President Alasdair Hallowell will make an official visit to Totzka on August 14th to discuss defence and security cooperation as well as trade and investment opportunities. It will be Hallowell’s first official visit to Totzka as President since he took power in January last year. Various officials from Hallowell’s administration have been travelling across the isles recently establishing new trading relationships with Athara Magarat, Dragão do Mar, Storalia and Cheoju.

The Magarati deal saw New Libang end tariffs on Almorean petroleum exports and a similar deal for Totzka could see a huge reduction in energy costs for the average Totzkan. Meanwhile President Améro is expected to push hard for raising Almorean import quotas on Totzka’s meat, cotton and spice exports. Rumours are also circulating that these talks may finally signal the go ahead on constructing the long planned Almorean-Totzka oil pipeline although many commenters have pointed out that with Yhaiva’s future hanging in the balance now is not a good time to build a pipeline that would certainly pass through the Yhai steppe. Améro and Hallowell are expected to discuss the possibility of Yhai independence along with the general security of the North Argus area.

Hallowell and Améro will also be touring Parazina. They will be paying their respects at Estrada do Caído, a monument honouring the 1.9 million Totzkans who died during the Totzkan revolution and the Arca da Unificação in Liberation Esplanade. The pair will also be visiting the Parazinan Imperial War Museum, commemorating the region-wide conflict which saw hostilities between Totzkans and Almoreans throughout the 1940s. The museum was built with shortly after President Ado’Rosmakona Iagano and Almorean President William McHenry both issued apologises for the role our nations played in the war.

BREAKING NEWS: Armed citizen praised for "heroic efforts"

Image

By Harrison Wall
This morning, a vehicle containing a single man was travelling at a high speed down a road. The car came to a stop before the man emerged with a firearm, and began to shoot aimlessly, at anything and anyone.

However, Jett Shields, a 38 year old man, was armed with a SKTNZD Glock 18 and asked the man to drop his weapon. Whilst taking cover, the man refused and opened fire at Mr Shields.

Mr Shields then returned fire, firing a total of eleven rounds at the man, whom remains unnamed.

The man died at the scene. Miraculously, no others were killed or wounded.

"Mr Jett Shields stopped what could have been a potentially devastating incident. A man intending to do harm to others was stopped by somebody who was simply walking the streets.

HALLOWELL VISITS TOTZKA
President meets Totzkan counterpart, signs major new trade agreement; takes cultural tour of capital

Image
President Alasdair Hallowell speaks to reporters in Parazina, the capital of the Totzkan Union, on December 14, 2018

PARAZINA (FBCA)- President Alasdair Hallowell today visited Parazina, the capital of the Totkzan Union, for wide-ranging discussions with Totkzan President Fransisco Améro about economic and security cooperation.

Hallowell and Améro laid wreaths at the Estrada do Caido, the monument honoring the dead of the Totzkan Revolution, before proceeding to the Imperial War Museum, which houses artifacts from the Imperial War that pitted Almorea and Totzka against each other during much of the 1940s. Améro presented Hallowell with an Almorean flag patch from the uniform of his paternal great-uncle, Colin Hallowell, who was killed in combat in 1946.

The President was accompanied by a large team of officials, including Secretary of State Kirk Thurson, Trade Secretary Donald Hauke, and Deputy War Secretary Gen. Ephraim Larsen.

In the most important event of the day, the two leaders sat down at around 1:00 PM, surrounded by international media, to sign the Almorea-Totzka All-inclusive Free Trade Agreement, or ATAFTA. Hallowell and Améro, smiling broadly, shook hands after affixing their signatures; in an unusual gesture, they used the same pen.

ATAFTA, the largest and most comprehensive trade agreement negotiated by the Hallowell administration since it took office in February 2017, deals with a wide range of topics. The agreement ends Totzkan tariffs on Almorean petroleum exports and makes it easier for Totzkan companies to buy Almorean semiconductors, circuits, optical fibers, and machine parts. Totzkan companies are bound to source at least 51% of their silver purchases from Almorea by July 1, 2020.

ATAFTA binds Almorea to import at least 80% of its cotton from Totzka; the Almorean textile industry represented almost 5% of national GDP this year, making this a highly profitable arrangement for businesses in both countries. Almorean import quotas on Totzkan cattle and spice are also raised significantly, by 35 to 55 percent; by the first day of 2021, the import quotas on aluminum and steel will both be raised to 51%.

Most significantly, ATAFTA commences planning for an oil pipeline running from Gray Hills into Yhaiva, bringing Almorean energy directly into eastern Totzka. In the text of the agreement, President Hallowell committed himself to seeking $4 billion from Congress to help finance the project; any such allocation would have to be made in January. The security of the pipeline, which is, as yet, lacking a convenient acronym, is a top priority for the two nations; ethnic unrest on the Yhai steppe could complicate construction.

ATAFTA also establishes a framework for future bilateral discussions on military cooperation and border security. In the treaty, Almorea and Totzka commit to the creation of a "joint force overseeing border security operations", led by co-commissioners; further talks will follow, likely early in 2019, to realize this goal. Hallowell and Améro also commit to meeting again within six months to discuss a proposed bilateral investment agreement.

Before Hallowell departed Parazina late at night, he and Améro held discussions about security cooperation, including strengthening the current Northern Shield Initiative that sees Almorean and Totzkan ships deployed in the North Mesder and Argean Seas. According to sources, General Larsen met separately with Sekhar Cardoso, the head of Totzka's National Armed Forces Supreme Command, to engage in what was described as a "secretive" conversation away from the cameras.

Speaking to reporters in Parazina before boarding a plane to Ballavasach, where he will meet with members of struggling textile communities, President Hallowell thanked Améro for his "great, really great and generous" hospitality, and had this to say about ATAFTA:

"It's a superb agreement, really great. Congress has to give the money for the pipeline. They have to pass the budget first, of course. But the pipeline is very important, I think it's easier- it's actually easier to imagine dollars flowing through it, instead of oil. The 'dollar pipeline'. We need $4 billion for it- call it an investment. I have people, smart people, telling me that's one of the best investments they've ever seen. Stockbrokers can't believe it. But Fransisco and I agree that the dollar pipeline is of extreme importance. He's a great guy, by the way. And the agreement we signed is a really great, great thing. This plane sure is loud!"

OVERLORD DEMANDS REMEMBRANCE DAY CONCESSIONS

Patrick Déthnell | Columnist | Sat 15 Dec
Image

In what has been a most shocking move in Noronnican politics to date, the Overlord has been barred from entry into the City of Nolon where he was due to give his annual address in Remembrance Day. Stating that this was a nationwide move to 'move on from our troubled past', Prime Minister Joshua McIntosh announced that Remembrance Day would not be held in a national service. In response to this move, the Overlord gave his own fiery address.

Last year saw perhaps the largest Remembrance Day seen in the nation, with much positive talk on the future. A special segment on the Noronnican Media Corporation was published on their website and on national television, with all signs pointing to a united country. However, the signs proved wrong, and as everyone put away their red sashes, so did the Overlord and Prime Minister with their pleasantries.

Now, the nation is more divided than it has been for decades, and the two most powerful and influential figures stand at odds with one another. Remembrance Day, an event designed to be non-partisan and non-political has fallen under this winter of discontent, something which seemed unimaginable in years prior.

For those unaware of the custom, after the Noronnican Civil War in the 1980s, there has been a Remembrance service every year to mark the anniversary of the end of the war. Usually, people wear an item of red clothing, (usually scarves or sashes) to remember the war, with charities selling sashes for remembrance and for current members of the armed forces. The service is held on the 19th December, and in it, the Overlord gives a public address that attracts millions of viewers both in and outside of Noronica. Therefore, when the Overlord, who introduced the day of remembrance as one of the last presidential executive orders, is banned from entering his own capital city to make this address, it is a national travesty.

Prime Minister Joshua McIntosh, made the statement today after cancelling the budget that had been set aside for the event:

"It is with great sadness that I must remind the nation of the horrific events of decades prior. It is in light of this sadness, that I feel it right that we as a nation must put an end to remembrance. Our fallen soldiers must be remembered with solemn reflection, and yet we must not dwell in the past, as to remember the past is to destroy the future. It is also, I feel, inappropriate to let this event be a celebration of the achievements of one man when one must remember that this was a war fought by all. What is the point of remembrance if it serves only to glorify violence? It is with that, that I declare that there shall be no Remembrance day service, and the Overlord's address shall be postponed in light of his behaviour."

This, it seems now inevitably, stirred massive controversy and division over social media, with both sides of the national division making cases against one another. What both sides do agree on, however, is that this move was not for a sense of 'moving on', it was to prevent a potentially dangerous wildcard to enter the city. Even then, this is an unfair assessment due to the fact that the Overlord designed and nurtured the event himself, meaning that it would be very unlikely for him to spark any clash due to the peaceful and reflective nature of the event.

In a response to this, the Overlord had this to say:

"I admit that I am utterly beyond words with the occurrences of today. So little courtesy has been displayed toward me that I cannot help but feel personally vilified. Remembrance Day was designed to remind the nation that it had, indeed, already moved on and it was prepared to enter into a peaceful and prosperous future. I imagine that this move was designed to be clever. It is anything but. It is my understanding that I am still monarch of the Overlordship of Noronica, and shall continue to be so until my deathbed, so it is with this address that I do appeal to the Prime Minister and my Government to reverse this decision. For the sake of national peace, do not bar me from my own country."

Prime Minister Mitchell Ledger hits out at Oturian Royal Council

Image

By Harrison Wall

Following the leak of the Thuzbek missile program, and the confirmation of the existence of such a program, Oturia's Royal Council unanimously voted to drop all sanctions on the threatening state.

The move angered many a nation, and many a person and has now made it to the doorstep of the Citadel.

Prime Minister Ledger made a statement this morning regarding the removal of sanctions, and promised that his government are "here to promote peace, not provoke any form of combat".

The Prime Minister made a fiery statement regarding the latest developments.

"This morning, as I do every Sunday morning, I receive a letter from the Secretary for Foreign Affairs which briefs me on the news of not only domestic matters, but worldwide matters and happenings. In the letter I received extensive details regarding the leak of the Thuzbek missile program, but also the decision of the Oturian Royal Council to drop all forms of sanctions on the country.

This move not only angered me and my government, but prime ministers and presidents and their governments across the globe. Thuzbekistan is a country that, intentionally or otherwise, is constantly putting itself in a position as if it wishes to cause harm to nations surrounding it. We see some Thuzbek actions as provocations and direct threats to the wellbeing and integrity of our allies who neighbour Thuzbekistan. We will not shy away from defending our friends if it comes to that, I hope it doesn't.

Nations need to take a firm stance regarding incidents like these, and provocations like these... we can't have nations like Oturia flip-flopping around their paths of action; to sanction or not to sanction.

My government implores on the Royal Council of Oturia to reconsider their choices, or we may reconsider ours."

Now, Kotelia usually stays out of other nation's domestic and foreign affairs and chooses a diplomatic route to solving the most toughest of issues, however PM Ledger showed no signs of backing down in his statement, appearing as if he was going on the offensive.

It may be possible that, in the coming days or weeks, we see sanctions placed on Oturia too, or other forms of response.

Military Exercises Near Greater Pretoria

Eterna Sea, Dec 13, 2018

Two hundred kilometers north of Greater Pretoria many journalists and reporters were invited upon Balniki ships to report on the recent war games taking place north of Greater Pretoria whom many reporters voiced their concerns about. Gloria Hadenlass questioned Balniki naval Captain Verona Ambass about whether the exercise was an attempt to intimidate the southern neighbors or not, here's what he had to say in response.

"No. It is impertitive to the strength of our navy and our nation that we continue to have exercises like these and continue to keep our nation healthy. Without these exercises we could become fodder for foreign powers or our navy tactics become outdated and ineffective, it is impertinent that we remain a valid contender in the Eterna Sea should issues arise. As for the location of the exercises, the south was chosen due to the warmer and relatively clear weather that was projected down south.

Reporter Hadenlass also had this to ask. "What kind of activities do these exercises entail?"

Well we have been practicing amphibious landings as well as regular landing's, hovercraft landings, carrier strikes,
air and sea battles, fleet defense as well as air defense, and humanitarian roles. It is important to keep our armed forces in tip top shape for whatever challenges they may encounter.

The military war games are expected to remain in the south for the remainder of the month where the fleet will then move north for colder condition training.

We are proud to announce that Balnik and KP will be enjoying closer trade relations as well as international relations and contact. We can thank this accompliment to our glorious leader Chernobog and his successful efforts to reintroduce the glory of Balnik to the globe after recessive communist failure."
