With how the economy/foreign policy is going, if Donald Trump weren't a fucking retard he would be on track for a Reagan sized landslide, for better or for worse.

Interesting, we already have 2 progressive Dems from Illinois so maybe a different nearby state though

New York might work, especially Greenpoint (NY-12?) considering it's Polish-American population, but a) I felt it might be too AOC-ish (considering she's from NY) and b) IL-03 has a Rep. of Polish decent who had a progressive challenger IRL. I know these two arguments might somewhat contradict themselves, but like I said the application is still in the works.

IMHO when it comes to importance in foreign policy it's effectivness first, intention second.

I don't dislike some of Trump's ideas regarding foreign policy, but most of those ideas haven't been implemented and clearly took a backseat to his wierd sabre-rattling rethoric, that I know too well from my own country's experiences both past and present.

Figured I'd do the whole first votes thing:

Stephens voted for Goldwater in 1964, the first Republican he ever voted for and the only until Reagan.

Miles did not vote when he was 18, his first Presidential election he voted in was 1988 for not-Ron Paul

Roberts voted for Reagan in 1984

Smith voted for not-Gore in 2000

Torrisi did not vote at 18, voted for not-Nader in 2000

Chase voted for Reed in the only election that has occurred since she became a citizen
