Executive Affairs

• The General Secretary has signed two bills into law that clarify ministerial portfolios in legislation and establish provisional citizenship. The latter was passed by the CC a year ago but was never signed by the incumbent GS.
• Minister of Defense Gabriel Xavier and Commander-in-Chief (GS) Lil' Stapler have announced several changes to the PRAF's rank system, including the abolishment of the Lieutenant rank, the renaming of General of the PRAF to Marshal of the PRAF, and specific criteria for promotion. The announcement also included a demotion for former Minister Vlad Schpilkes.
• Two soldiers of the PRAF invaded three monarchist regions at major update hours ago during Operation Everglade.
  Several suggestions have been made in the public suggestions box forum established by executive order by GS Tarrin Kael. The forum can be used to ask questions and scrutinize the government and have relevant authorities answer your concerns.

Legislative Affairs

• CCM Egaleca has proposed the 26th Constitutional Amendment, which would allow citizens to send a bill to the General Secretary's desk with 2/3 of the votes or automatically enact it with 3/4 of the votes in a public referendum if the bill was previously rejected by the Central Committee.

Judicial Affairs

• The standing period for the July Judicial Election is open! Kirk Socramander (I)*, M.M. (I), Vlad Schpilkes, Tarrin Kael, Frits, Thomas Calloway, Gabriel Xavier, and C.A.D. have registered so far. All candidates have published their campaign in the electoral forum. The Ministry of Information also has published and election analysis to help citizens know their candidates better.
• C.A.D. has submitted a legal question regarding a possible conflict in the neutrality of the Office of the General Secretary after an election analysis was published by the General Secretary through the Ministry of Information.

Roleplay

• Voting for the People's Roleplay Council is now open! The PRC is the region's roleplay legislature, and its laws determine the lives of every person in its member states. The campaigns of the candidates can be found here.
• The B'halan political parties Long Live B'hala and the Pirate Party have formed the League of Dissolusioned Voters coalition, which mainly stands against the two major coalitions, the Left and the Center-Right Coalition. The new coalition is calling for smaller parties to join the cause.
  A discussion regarding the Bloc's physical capital city is ongoing.

General

• A discussion on the future of lectures in the Brightbay University is ongoing.

• The Ministry of Information has published an article regarding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' recent efforts to bring the Bloc back into the spotlight of interregional affairs.

Legislative Affairs

• Premier Nathaniel Penrose has proposed the 1st Amendment to the War Declaration Act 2016. The amendment would clarify the issue that the PRAF is only allowed to engage in automatic hostility with national socialist regions and not other right-wing regions, which was brought up earlier today in the Cabinet Discord channel.

The bill's intention is to prevent candidates from using stamps to send a campaign telegram to the region.

Judicial Affairs

Roleplay

• Results of the People's Roleplay Council elections were revealed earlier this afternoon. The new voting delegations to the PRC are led by Tarrin Kael of Shaiman, Lewis Flood of Stiegae, Nathaniel Penrose of Ubertas, Egaleca, and Lil' Stapler of Rukiana.
• The People's Roleplay has come to an agreement on the next President of the Council: Tarrin Kael. Kael, having originally convened the nomination session, nominated Lewis Flood, but Flood turned the offer down. Flood then nominated Kael, and the remaining four members expressed their support for his presidency. Kael, an experienced former President, is expected to take office tomorrow.
• The B'halan Socialist Press has published an opinion article regarding the recent election results in Ubertas and Stiegae that resulted in hung parliaments.
• Ubertas' election results have been released by the UNN, and the results indicated no clear majority in the National People's Soviet. Shortly after, the Far-Left United Front was formed among several socialist parties with a slim majority of 55% in the 2305-seat legislature.

General

• Lecture series on cognition improvement and astronomy and astrophysics have been announced in Brightbay University.

Hello, please allow me to clear up much of the confusion over what our Information Minister recently said.

Please let me begin by requesting to please not take any statements made by any other person besides myself (the Foreign Minister) and the General Secretary as the policy of the region. The Information Minister, for all his excellent work does not speak for us on such matters as this.

Now as for the words in the letter we released about a month ago, we did say that and we’re very serious about those words. So please don’t think we go around giving out half truths and empty apologies because that is definitely not what the Bloc of today is. What she did was completely inexcusable. However, if she’s willing to admit that what she did to our leftist comrades and to our region was wrong and unethical and willing to turn over a new leaf with us, we’re willing to give her a single chance. Let us be clear that when we say "we'll welcome you back" we don't mean giving her back the reins and falling in behind her. Make no mistake, if she were to return she'd have to rebuild her image, her credibility, and name within the region from scratch.

I should note though that she has not come back, mainly due to much of the negative sentiment towards her past actions that has developed amongst the citizens.

Speculation in the press is rife, over the probability of an armed standoff, and a possibility of a proxy war with Trabardia.

Dearest Comrades abroad and at home,

Recently tensions have erupted between the Major game created regions (GCRs) and a few user created regions (UCRs) over the conduct, expansionism, and in-game character conflicts centered around the government of The Pacific, the New Pacific Order (NPO). TCB is a serious and militant leftist region, and tends to ignore issues not pertaining to our regional security, the leftist struggle, or the Anti-Fascist effort. As such, we have made every attempt to stay as removed as possible from this ongoing war. Due to recent events, however, our stance as now changed.

It has come to our attention that members in the upper echelons of the NPO have harbored and assisted the subversive efforts of Vetelo/Attero, the authoritarian leader of the United Soviet Socialist Dictatorship and vilified historic fascist sympathizer and collaborator. Due to Executive Order 13 and our expulsion of USSD diplomats and ties last January over these fascist ties, TCB has made every effort to avoid entities with ties to Vetelo. As such, due to the recent revelations regarding the NPOs connection with said individual and our concerns over the NPO’s structure and ruling principals, and the dubious actions taken by the NPO, The Communist Bloc will be closing embassies with the NPO effective immediately. All diplomats will be removed privileges within the region and the Bloc will be ceasing formal communication.

We would like to affirm that we condemn any persons who aid dubious individuals such as Vetelo, and allow them to infiltrate healthy and thriving democracies. The Bloc would like to profess that it will continue its stance of military neutrality for now unless further pertinent evidence arise.

Whether or not your infamy is justified, you've got to admit that it is greatly contributing to the war effort by being a catalyst to shorten the NPO's list of allies.
