While I disagree with RBG politically, get well soon and resume your duties as a US Supreme Court Justice of which you are qualified for.
If the Democrats had a majority leftist US Supreme Court, they might use that majority to overturn conservative laws they don't like, it works both ways.

Just because she is up in age doesn't mean she's incapable of doing her job. Noam Chomsky is at the door of 90 and his mind is still sharper than that of most 20 year olds.
If she wants to retire, she'll do that. If she wants to stay on but take time to get well, that's her right.
