Suddenly, mid-season - corrupt like everything else in Greater Tyrol, the KGTFV has decided to introduce play-offs for league relegation at the end of the season. This means that the 11th ranked team of Ehrendivision will play a round-robin playoff tournament against the 2nd, 3rd & 4th ranked teams of Zweite Division; the 10th ranked team of Zweite Division will play the three overall best-ranked teams of the two regions of Dritte Division in the same format; the 8th ranked teams of Dritte Division will play the three overall best-ranked teams from their corresponding regions in the same format.
Ehrendivision:
There were few notable results in these two periods of the league - there was a 6-1 home victory for Vlaanderen against Great Fasces, other than this most scorelines did not exceed three goals in total, only two games reached five goals scored between the teams. The title contenders are beginning to become clear at this stage of the season; RSG Vlaanderen still have a comfortable lead, but they are only 10 points astern from the 7th placed AFC Albion. It is clearer who will be fighting the relegation battle, Werder Meppen, Judenberg and Eppingen have lost contact to the league midfield, but are only seperated by three points between them, though it is noteworthy that although it took until Matchday 18 for Eppingen to record their first - and so far only - win of the season, they have recently caught their form, whilst Judenberg are now a frightening 19 (!) games without a win; Meppen are likewise fledgling, with only one win from the past 17 games.

Zweite Division:
The situation is a little clearer in this league - the title will likely be fought between Sveaborg and Ajaxdam, unless another team makes a surprising comeback. It is widely believed that this gripping battle for first place is the reason why play-off games have been put in place, as the league hopes for extra revenue from TV rights and potential league sponsors if they keep the possibility open that both these fan magnets could be playing in top flight the next season. It is also an interesting match between Sveaborg's fanciful offensive style and Ajaxdam's minimal, defensive style.
At the other end of the league, Niederstetten and Reichenberg are trailing the play-off spot by 9 respectively 6 points, with one more point away from clear safety. If they do not turn around on their form, it is well possible that these teams might be one league lower next year. Niederstetten appeared to be relatively safe, but a dismal record of only 4 points from the last 13 rounds means they are now in deeper trouble than they ever anticipated.
There were three games in which a total of eight goals were scored: a 4-4 draw between Armborm and Neutrottelsdorf; and, curiously, despite their position in the upper half of the league, two shattering away defeats of Celtica Hasenwitz --- losing 6-2 to Lokomotive and 7-1 to Germania.

Dritte Division:
The leading positions appear to be taken: in the northern division, Walder Armborm are 9 points ahead of Britannia Windschieß resp. 1. FC Hasenwitz - the two teams that dominated the first two periods of this season; in the southern division Bavaria Tyrolia have opened an 8 point gap over Heyne Lauterbach. Notable is the recent form of TSV 1860 Holzkirchen, who have left the relegation battles and have become a serious contender for a place in the play-offs for promotion.
At the other end, NASK are in seriously troubles as they are trailing a play-off position by six points; and in the Southern league we might be facing the curiosity where two teams from the same town, Feyendorf, might be relegated to the lower league; with 5 resp. 7 points away from definite safety, it is expected that they and TSV 1874 Hagen will be playing out one play-off position.
The highest scoring match in this period was a convincing 6-3 home victory for Bavaria over Wacker Feyendorf II.
