Hasn't their been some issues that are caused by, or at least blamed on, the traveller community though?

My grandparents who live in Ireland absolutely can't stand them, apparently a town they live near was effectively bought up and then abandoned by a large group of them about 20 years back as well.

Well if wiping them the fuck out isn't clear enough for you....

But a more reasonable approach would be to make Travellers know that you can't have rights without responsibilities. This includes paying taxes, not defrauding the welfare system, cleaning up after themselves, taking care of their animals and not abandoning them when it suits them, not intimidating and threatening others to get their way and that their disgusting traveller fight videos on Youtube will be banned and any incitement to violence on any platform will be met with swift jail sentences.

And that's just a start.

They are an awful people and I've little sympathy for them. I've had to deal with them on several occasions, was at home as they tried to break in, came home to their kids breaking in, having thrashed our home(a great tactic they are fond as the kids are under 18 and are under a separate legal system) and had our dog kicked to death by them.

Their "culture" is a sham.

It's clear enough for me.

I'd say it was the traveller thing moreso. Longford voted Casey first and Longford is also the county with the highest proportion of travellers.

There are a lot of issues with travellers in Ireland, and I would wager a good deal of people have negative experiences with them. But at the same time that's no reason to stereotype all of them, all communities have their fair share of assholes and the settled community is certainly no exception .
