The US owns it but the UK has jurisdiction. It still belongs to us. *mutters* I told Truman we shouldn't let the Brits off the hook so easily after the War, they'd just get all snooty again as soon as they rebuilt a couple of buildings in London.

One of the suspected Khashoggi killers died in a 'suspicious car accident'.
Seems like the Saudis are trying their hardest to silence them.

No idea why they bother. Donnie bends over for them almost as much as he bends over for Putin.

Honestly, there are no good dictators left, they're all amateurs or caricatures. Putin, Duterte, Kim, and now MBS, they could have appeared in a comic book back in the 70s as henchmen of Doctor Doom.

When even Trump is buckling under international pressure, you gotta clean up your act somehow... by killing all the bloody lackeys before they croak incriminating information.

Gotta have a little bit of darkness within you just to survive. You gotta stoop low everyday it seems like. Stoop all the way down to the devil in these times. And then one day you look in the mirror and you realize that you ain't you anymore. You're just another monster, and thanks to your actions, someone else will eventually become as warped and twisted as you. Never forget that the best of us are just the best of a bad lot. Being at the top of a pile of feces doesn't make you anything but shit like the rest. Never forget that.

Now, to be fair, america has been kissing KSA's ass for decades before Trump. Trump was the most blatant in helping them deny responsibility, but we've looked the other way on saudi atrocities for decades. We really need to get out of the middle east and its foreign entanglements, because right now we're on the side of some pretty god awful individuals and entities in that region. Saudi Arabia couldn't be more unamerican or nightmarish, yet the US calls them an ally while claiming Iran is the real threat to the world

Unpopular opinion, but both Saudi Arabia and Iran are threats.
