I don't think that they should be necessary. The existence of hate speech laws is a result of poor socialization (rearing). If hate speech laws are implemented, they should be remedial and temporary. However, in all cases, I put the liberty of the other (the subaltern) over the rights of the majority.

Since I don't believe in borders, I am sympathetic to anyone who has earned it. One way of earning my sympathy is by not stepping on people in a home they have occupied for thousands of years.
