The university I went to had tens of thousands of students. It's not possible to have a "popular kids" clique among that many people. Social circles formed within courses, clubs and societies, and residences, and these overlapped and intersected, but there were no "popular kids" who could make anyone look bad, or who everyone wanted to be one of. The only equivalent of "cliques" that I can think of in terms of University is the various societies and clubs, but being a member of one of those doesn't instantly make someone superior to anyone else. Some University societies and clubs might become a bit echo chamber-ish, but that is a separate issue entirely.

Rich girl is being really mean to you at party and laughs when you fall into a pit of mud, and takes a bunch of pictures of you. She then tries to get a better angle from up high and falls into the pit of mud herself. The situation is that she comes back and asks if she can use your washroom to clean up. Then it's the two questions in the OP. That's as good as I can put it, although I may be missing some stuff.

I have a feeling people in the prompt are laughing with her because whoever the protagonist is here is *massively* overreacting to a simple prank. I mean, you stepped in some mud, get over it. Also the girl is kind of an asshole, but if those clothes are that expensive she has reason to be, that's hundreds of bucks ruined
