JUSTICE!
You assume for some reason I'm not encouraging people to vote for something that gives me what is essentially a badge of honor.

No it's not good. It is filled with suppossed allegations LD used WA to help raiders. Jocospor did that just cuz' LD liberated his region and CCD deserved that, but not due to fascism. Due to other worse stuff.

*the Delegate's Office giggles* Oh dear, you've missed the point too. It's got absolutely nothing to do with that. But, please, it's too our advantage if you believe it does, so, by all means...!

It seems broadly straightforward. You are annoyed at LD for the liberation, by doing this your region gets to cling on to the limelight that it is fast slipping out of and if this passes you get a badge. Then your llama mate can draft another commendation in the hopes that with a tiny bit of evidence that you at least have done something it will pass.
This resolution will very probably pass. It is daft enough that folks are supporting it for shits and giggles. Still, as I said that attention is shifting. The Sec Council likes a bit of drama, especially if there are a few jokes in with it. It is growing a bit stale though, and unless your lot plan on keeping up the expensive recruitment campaigns your region is probably going to start withering soonish.

Our thanks for your opinions. Heavy emphasis on your.
You've still got the wrong of it, we're sorry to say. Though, honestly, we're so used to having words put in our mouth now that we're not too fussed what you believe or what you want to tell people. All you need to know, though, is that, well, as we said, you've got the wrong of it. *the Delegate's Office exchanges winks*

Honestly, it's the only way I could see of getting anything salvageable out of this mess if I were in your shoes. It's going to be on record that you were upset enough over LD's liberation that you wrote and campaigned for one of the worst resolutions I've seen reach quorum. Still, I guess you have a plan - which I imagine will look suspiciously like "that thing that happened that was kind of bad for us is actually good for us and we planned it all along!"
Interesting use of "highly controversial" to describe either resolution mentioned in this condemnation. An easy mistake to make I know, but don't assume what's on the drafting and debate thread is a real reflection of how the rest of the voters feel. Both Liberate KR and Liberate CCD glided easily through on comfortable margins, and it was really evident from the first couple of hours where the votes were going to go. As a whole, these offensive liberations are pretty well received. It's only a hard core of people who mistakenly believe that such resolutions are an infringement of freedom of expression, a few folks who don't like using liberations offensively and a few fascists who don't like getting picked on that find it controversial.

Look, to be brief about it, what you can or can't see is irrelevant to us. We know what we can see, and that's all we want to see. And "highly controversial" and "popular" are not mutually exclusive, either.
