Personally, I'm against. The cause is certainly worthwhile, but the use of the word 'maritime' irks me to no end, and some of the language feels too informal (e.g. 'every couple of years') (quite petty things, really, but I won't simply reiterate that which has already been said). Your candour is nonetheless noted and appreciated.
