The CMFA Malay World Cup™

Introduction

The CMFA Malay World Cup™ is a regional football competition contested by senior men's national teams of the countries in Tanah Melayu. The tournament founded in 2018 and played for the first time in June 2018. The Malay World Cup is planned to be held twice or three times a year. The competition originally initiated and organized by Zeniyadh Football Association for the first edition, but will be managed by regional associations in the future. Today all regional football agendas managed by regional confederation named Confédération Malaya de Football Association (CMFA)

Participation

All nations who want to participate in this tournament must be an active member of the CMFA. This regional football governing body membership limited only for Tanah Melayu nations. So only Tanah Melayu nations eligible to participate in the CMFA Malay World Cup™. To be a member of the CMFA, the football association of a nation must complete the registration first.

The Malay World Cup™ currently organized under CMFA. This regional tournament has a high selling power and become one of the regional business sectors. CMFA are open to all Malay and non-Malay company who interest to establish a partnership and sponsorship agreement with us. We're open to all company in : sportswear, beverage, aviation, resource, automobile, banking, food, electronic, etc. The CMFA can not tolerate partnership with drugs, tobacco, weapons, and alcohol brand.

The Malay World Cup™ 1

Introduction

The Malay World Cup™ 1 is the first edition of Malay World Cup™ franchise. The tournament was initiated by Zenidhian Football Ilişki (ZFI) chairman, and later officially organized by this Football Association. The tournament hosted by Zeniyadh in June 2018 and participated by six countries from Tanah Melayu which divided into two groups of three. The total number of fixtures will be played in the tournament is nine (9) consisting of six (6) group stage fixtures, two (2) semifinals fixtures, and the final. The tournament venue city are Benzani and Mahkama.Sumatra Timur won this tournament after achieve 4-3 victory from Khantari

Participants

The tournament participant registration has been officially opened since early march 2018. There's no qualification nor specific requirements for all countries who interested to join the competition. On March 19th ZFI announce that the registration for tournament participation officially closed. At the time, there's six countries who already approved to join the tournament, are :
1. Zeniyadh(host)
2. Sharktail
3. Khantari
4. Madditottoman
5. United Fadzelikrime
6. southeastern Malaya

But later, three participants threatened to be disqualified due to some reason. Madditottoman and United Fadzelikrime are ceased to exit, and Sharktail leave Tanah Melayu region before the tournament started. The ZFI finally approve Sumatra Timur and Steelbaron proposal to replace two CE countries, while Sharktail participation still validated and they're become the only non-malay nation to join the Malay World Cup.

Tournament Format

With six countries take part on this tournament, the ZFI decided to divide these participants into two groups. Each group consist if three countries, and determined by random drawing (except zeniyadh, as host they're automatically included into group A).

Each countries in the same group will face each other once, which means each will play two matches in group stage. A team will earn 3 points from winning a match, 1 point for achieving a draw result, and 0 for a loss. All teams in the same group will be ranked based points earned from two matches. The top two teams from each group will advanced to semifinals. In the next stage, winner of the group will meet runner-up from the other group and play for a final place. The winners of each semifinal will play each other in the final to determine the tournament winner.

1. Linimo Railway Engineering
The CMFA will cooperate with the tournament host country to improve the transportation access. In this case, we're entrust Linimo Railway Engineering as transportation consultant and we will push the host country to plan a modern railway project alongside with Linimo.

2. Krbustan Sport Company
As each country who compete in Malay World Cup already have their own partnership with a sportswear apparel, the CMFA can't force each country to use Krbustan product. But we trust Krbustan Sport Company to produce official tournament merchandise and fan attribute.

Khantari first to Bid for 2nd Malay World Cup Host

Fort Raleigh, Khantari - The Khantari Football Council (KFC) officially made a bid to host the 2nd Malay World Cup. It was confirmed by CMFA on 24/08. The finalist of the previous edition of the tournament confident their country are eligible to host the regional football tournament. The president of KFC said that Grefberg National Stadium which had 51.000 capacity reflect Khantari football tradition, and it's time to host a major tournament.

"We achieve good result by finishing as runner up in the previous MWC in Zeniyadh, now it's our time to follow zeniyadh success to host the tournament. That will be a pride for us as a nation with a football tradition"

CMFA officially open the bid for 2nd Malay World Cup host yesterday (23/08). Khantari become the first country to made a bid. On the other side, Zenidhian Futbol Ilişki (ZFI) made a statement that they're not interested to host the 2nd Malay World Cup and prefer to give opportunity to the other countries. All received bid will be evaluated by CMFA and reduced to only two selected bid. Then the final round between the two side will be held by regional voting to determine the 2nd MWC host.

SEU bid for it's first Malay World Cup

Ladonka, South East United - South East United didn't want to miss the Malay World Cup for the second time. The country isn't participating in the first edition on the tournament because their government didn't support it. But today, they got support from the government not only for participating, but to host the tournament. The Sanjaya Football Union (SFU) - SEU Football Federation under Sanjayan Sport Federation officially made a bid to host the 2nd Malay World Cup. This brave action appreciated by CMFA president, he said that what SEU government did prove that Malay World Cup has become a prestigious regional agenda. But he also mentioned that SFU must prepare more extra because they have not enough facility and bad administration. CMFA hope that SFU able to show that SEU really want to host the tournament and do their best to be selected.

South East United become the second country made a bid to host the 2nd Malay World Cup. Yesterday Khantari Football Council (KFC) announce that they've submit the bidding documents.

Khantari Announce Bidding Committee

Fort Raleigh, Khantari - Khantari Football Council (KFC) announce a committee for their Malay World Cup 02 bidding. The WC02 Khantari™ Local Organisation Committee has been announced by the President Dr Adrian West. This committee is formed to succeed the khantari campaign as MWC 02 host. This committee lead by KFC Chairman, Dr. Andres Shawcross. This committee currently campaigning Khantari bidding worldwide and trying to cooperate with some public figure as the campaign ambassador such as James Fallberg and Sean Headnight, Khantarian famaous footballer in 70s.

At the same day, KFC also launch the bidding official website. It can be accessed across all Malay countries by www.wco02khantari.gov.kh

The 2nd Malay World Cup™

Introduction

The 2nd Malay World Cup™ will be the second edition of Malay World Cup™ franchise. The major difference between this tournament and the previous one is it's now organized by Confédération Malaya de Football Association (CMFA), while the The Malay World Cup™ 1 organized by Zenidhian Football Ilişki (ZFI). This tournament will be hosted by Khantari in October 2018 and participated by several nations from Tanah Melayu.

Tournament Format

The 2nd Malay World Cup format will not much different from the previous edition. Each participant will be divided into several groups, and teams in the same group will play each others once. A team will earn 3 points from winning a match, 1 point for achieving a draw result, and 0 for a loss. The teams will be ranked based points earned from group stage matches.

The 12 participating teams divided into two groups of six. Each team scheduled to face another teams in the same group once, so each team will play five group stage matches. The top two team in the final table will advanced to the semifinals, where the group winner will face the runner-up of the other group. The winners of semifinals will play in the final to determine the tournament champions. While the teams who loss in the semifinals will face each other in the 3rd place playoff.
