OUR STORY and OUR MISSION
Herbertshire Publishers was on founded on December 24th, 1963 by Henry and Wilma Herbertshire with a mission to re-publish and spread books and ideas banned by the Communist regime of the Santilandish Soviet Socialist Republic. The company's story throughout the latter twentieth century was one of publishing the newest and best books and to find and re-publish the works of the thousands of authors banned during the times of the SSSR.
Near its beginning on 1965, the administration of Chancellor Ryan Wertimer gave Herbertshire a grant of $2,000,000 million Santilandish dollars to find and re-publish works of the many authors that had been silenced by the SSSR. Herbertshire was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to read the works that they want to read without of fear of government censorship. Ever since that grant, Herbertshire has grown into one of Santiland most prominent and important book publishers and is now looking to expand abroad.
Furthermore, Herbertshire Publishers is committed to ensuring that all children have the right to access to all the worlds and stories that books give us. For this reason, Herbertshire Publishers has created a new program called For Every Child a Book that aims to donate thousands of books to libraries and bookstores in low-income areas throughout the world.
