Roendavar's stand on this would probably be:

Sawneeak Atoll, and the waters surrounding it, is a site of rich biodiversity and of environmental importance. Both marine life and migratory birds use these islands as their habitat and, thus, any damage and control to the islands can be harmful. Therefore, Roendavar strongly recommends that the Sawneeak Atoll, associated islands, and all waters 15 km. from the general borders of the atoll, should be devoid of ANY human interaction, whether it be fishing, oil drilling, or military bases, or any activity that can damage the surroundings, with the exception of innocent passage, which in this case shall be allowed 10 km. away from the general border. Roendavar implies that Sawneeak Atoll should remain international territory overseen by environmental organizations, either government funded or NGOs. No one will own Sawneeak Atoll from the present until the end of time. All past claims are to be void and all settlements are to be demolished. Damage to the islands shall be fixed by whoever country caused it.

Failure to comply and Roendavar will bomb you with grapes and caviar and your countries shall be shot with loves and kisses <3.

My submarine has been sent to the atoll to help potential allies if a war breaks out. I am not trying to be aggressive: Samaj just wants to maintain peace.

Might as well leave something here.

I do not want to fight a war out here in the Atoll, D&S's military is already tied up as it is in Orsandia and beyond. However, controlling the territory is important to the future affairs of the nation so it will be willing to push back any attempt at intervention against the island or the Dormill-Stiuraian inhabitants.

To Noronica in particular, I want to propose something that ties into what we've bee wanting to do earlier and your own thing going on. I would like to have President Dyson make a deal with whatever side of this quasi-civil war where in exchange for Dormill-Stiuraian support after its affairs in Orsandia are in order and recognition of the Noronnican Southern Gael Territory, Noronica allows a plebiscite in Arvan (that would split the peninsula somewhere in half) on either Dormill-Stiuraian or Noronnican rule and recognizes Sawneeak-atol. In the end, both of us will press to remove the other claimants through political means.

i would like to claim the island south of Dorm's land, as Dulung Special Administrative Region. The town there is called Kehl Sohko. Negarakitan interests here are mainly for oil exploration, if that exists, as well as cultural links to the people there and bog standard tourism and stuff like that. Military presence is limited, but there is an old IW1 era fort.

Me is gonna just claim that my involvement is saving local species and whatnot. So far I have fleshed out three Sawneeak native bird species (out of 22 as Noronica says): Sawneeak Quail, Pachyu's Tragopan and Sawneeaker Tit.

Should there be a conference (but not anytime soon)?

The Norsan Government would certainly want to avoid a war or confrontation in the Atoll, not that I think it would happen in the Norsan islands (remember, the population all speak Norsan as they are all immigrants/descendants of deported petty criminals). Today, I think the main drive from the government there would be to increase tourists visiting from Norstham, so I could maybe do a series of newsposts which involve airport expansion or something, with the other claimants calling it out as a potentially military instillation (it would not be).

I'd definitely say Masurbia's reason for keeping Ka i'a i'a is what it does for the economy. The rich sealife provides Masurbia's fishing industry a big boost and the presence of fossil fuels such as natural gas and oil is something Masurbia imports heavily. Military-wise a war over the Atoll would put a major strain on the military's capabilities and force the allocation of scarce military resources to a chain of small islands. Current military assets in the Atoll only protect the island from invaders as well as pirates and serves as the international representation of Masurbia.

Our interests are to keep our spot, and resist the domestic opposition which is going to be vaguely happening on our island.

It seems I'm a little bit late to this since I would have loved to get my grubby hands on some bolded territory. But nevertheless, this looks like something interesting to be involved in. I can possibly side with one (or a few) of the claimants, whoever woos Townside best, and be involved and act in a 'secondary participant' capacity.

I'd like to think Townside may have some use here, since, other than Negarakita, all the claimants are pretty far away from Sawneeak, so friendship with Townside could be useful due to Townside's proximity to Sawneeak. Given how peaceful all the claimants seem to be though, this proximity argument doesn't necessarily have to be for military purposes. It could be for things such as stopovers for commercial flights, civilian trade/cheap supply routes that sort of thing as well.

There could also be tourism advertisements in Townside for the particular island(s) which is owned by the disputing party nation that Townside is supporting, while wilfully ignoring the other islands as tourist destinations etc.
