Of course he wouldn't say it. The far right know better than to blurt out their unpopular Dominomist plan no matter how nakedly obvious it is. And even if he does claim that It's "correctly decided" he would be lying, like almost everyone in Trump's circle.

Only if you like me supporting open rebellion against the Governments that outlaw abortion. Women should have them out in the open with middle fingers to be seen by their misogynistic lawmakers and rhey should do whatever it takes to resist arrest. Meanwhile..

In a further blow to Trump on Tuesday, the US Department of Justice announced that Duncan Hunter, the second member of Congress to endorse the president, had been indicted on charges of using campaign funds for personal ends, along with his wife, Margaret.

Trump’s first congressional backer, Chris Collins, was indicted on insider trading charges about two weeks ago.

Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, spoke to Rachel Maddow on MSNBC this evening. Davis says he took on Cohen as a client because “he wanted to tell the truth about Donald Trump”.

“It’s truth that Michael Cohen has committed to and it’s truth that so threatens the president of the United States,” he said.

Davis added: “Mr Cohen has knowledge on certain subjects that should be of interest to the special counsel and is more than happy to tell the special counsel all that he knows. Not just about the obvious possibility of a conspiracy to collude and corrupt the American democracy system in the 2016 election, which the Trump tower meeting was all about, but also knowledge about the computer crime of hacking and whether or not Mr Trump knew ahead of time about that crime and even cheered it on, we know he cheered it on publicly, but whether he had private information.”

Meanwhile Trump is elucidating on policy effects..

It’s quite hard to keep up with the twists and turns of this speech. But it is worth going back to a baffling line from earlier on, in which Trump was explaining that some policies take time to come into effect.

“It takes time for things to gestate, like when you cook a chicken,” he said. Then the gestating chicken became a turkey, and now Trump is onto his mother making the best Thanksgiving turkey, which needed eight hours to cook. Baffling.

I don't know, until something actually comes out of it, it still feels like a lawyer looking for any life preserver available for his drowning client.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.

While it seems slow.. this investigation is running through the fastest level of indictments ever.. at the very least it provides Mueller with breathing space from the pressure to end the investigation.

He's surrounded by criminals, his own lawyer, his congressional supporters.. everyone.. to think he's not a criminal as well is to be much like Michael Jackson of an evening.. inside a bubble.

Meh, too minor to be of any real use. Normally it would be some useful hay to undermine his support, but the 'Family Values' crowd have enthusiastically embraced their position as Trumps favorite whores, so they'll probably declare he gets another "mulligan" for loving Jesus as much as he does.

Just in case people have lost count..

You’re forgiven if you’ve lost track of all the criminality, either charged or admitted, that has burst forth from Mr. Trump’s circles in the last couple years even as Mr. Trump has continued to claim that the investigation is a hoax, a pointless waste of taxpayer dollars. So here’s a brief refresher:

In addition to the prosecution of Mr. Manafort, the special counsel’s office has secured guilty pleas from multiple people, including Mr. Flynn and George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser on the Trump campaign, both of whom lied to federal investigators about their communications with Russian officials.

Others have pleaded guilty to identity fraud and making false statements. Mr. Manafort’s longtime associate Rick Gates also pleaded guilty and testified against his former boss.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mueller has charged more than a dozen Russian individuals and companies for their roles in a coordinated and deceptive social-media campaign aimed at hurting Hillary Clinton’s candidacy and helping Mr. Trump’s. Some Trump campaign officials were unwittingly in contact with some of these defendants.

Mr. Mueller has also charged a dozen Russian military officials with hacking and helping to release emails of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The hackers first tried to break into Mrs. Clinton’s personal servers on July 27, 2016 — the same day that Mr. Trump publicly called on Russians to do exactly that.

And he has charged Konstantin Kilimnik, a Russian associate of Mr. Manafort and a suspected spy, with obstructing justice.

As Mr. Trump rages on about the unfairness of the investigation, remember that Mr. Mueller has been on the job for just 15 months. For comparison, the Watergate investigation ran for more than two years before it brought down a president and sent dozens of people to prison. The Iran contra investigation dragged on for about seven years, as did the Whitewater investigation, which resulted in President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

Also remember we still don’t know anything about the ultimate fate of several other Trump associates who have been under Mr. Mueller’s microscope, including Roger Stone, Carter Page and Donald Trump Jr. (“If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer”).

Say you are in the middle of the Mohave desert. It’s 125°F and you’re out of water. You’re dehydrated and on the verge of passing out. People walk by you, but they don’t seem to pay attention at all to your plight. Out of nowhere, a man appears (he is not a mirage). He offers you all the cold water you can drink, along with cool shelter. There might be a catch, there might not be. Perhaps the water was stolen from someone else in your situation, or maybe it’s tainted with something. But none of that crosses your mind, and without question, you drink all you can, and the mystery man becomes your hero.

The voters aren’t idiots. They’re desperate, and their voices are seeming to finally be heard.

I’m a little sleepy rn, so apologies if there’s mistakes. But I just felt the need to point out why West Virginians are not necessarily clueless for voting for Trump.

More like people who want to be free to sell cheap, unregulated sewage water have mounted a long running campaign against the person selling more expensive but regulated and clean water and people are tired of knowing who to believe, wanting freedom on the one hand but clean water on the other, and then someone comes along with his branded Trump Water, which is so filthy it barely has enough H2O in it to be called water, and promises you that against all evidence he has found an unlimited source of free water and just as soon as he stops those Mexicans from stealing all the water he'll provide free water for all while all the time he's siphoning off the water for his endless gold courses.. draining the swamp, the reservoir and the entire ocean while he's at it.

Say many of the people passing by offered to take you with them and give water, but they said it in such a way as to imply that dying of thirst in the middle of the desert was a bad thing, and worse, that other people would get water too, so you told them to fuck off until the magical mirage man came by and told them he'd shower them in water right where they're at and only they would get it?

That's the scenario we're actually looking at.

The problem isn't that their voices weren't heard. It's that they weren't getting exactly what they wanted (because there is no going back to what they want) so they threw a hissy fit and fucked over the country because of it.

Good job, guys!

They're either fools, or selfish fools. Take your pick.

No doubt the pressure for impeachment will only build from here – even without a full-blown conspiracy with a hostile foreign nation to manipulate the election. The current campaign finance crimes on display are more than enough to meet the definition of high crimes and misdemeanours.

But impeachment in a Democratic-controlled House – if this year’s elections proceed as forecast – will ultimately be followed by failure in a Senate trial, where Republicans would need to vote to kick Trump out of office. There is no plausible scenario where this Republican party would do so, even with White House tapes of Trump discussing a Russian conspiracy.

Cohen’s plea bargain suggests we may have sought out the wrong historical figure in the Nixon White House. Nixon was forced to resign by his party and his sense of shame: two factors that are absent today.

Instead we should be looking at Nixon’s first vice-president, Spiro Agnew, who was forced out of office by something much more familiar: criminal investigations into conspiracy, tax fraud and bribery, among other things. Agnew had been a corrupt public official since his days as Maryland governor, and the corruption continued into his vice-presidency. A year after his re-election, Agnew accepted a guilty plea bargain on tax evasion and resigned from office.

Until his resignation, Agnew claimed the US Attorney’s investigations were all lies. His lawyers claimed that a sitting vice-president couldn’t be indicted. Both of those arguments collapsed. As one of Agnew’s lawyers recently wrote, there are no constitutional protections against indictment for either a president or a vice-president.

Would Trump resist a plea bargain more than anyone else in his inner-circle? Does he have the spinal fortitude to risk a five-year jail term and a good chunk of his personal fortune for the chance of saving his political career and the undying love of his political base?

He may decide that his base will always love him. He may decide that his freedom is as much about avoiding four more years in the White House as it is about avoiding five years in the Big House. If shame won’t make him quit, perhaps a plea bargain will.

Frankly I just don't see an endgame of everyone going 'oh.. he was innocent after all', the smoke is absolutely billowing all around him. At best he declines to run in 2020 'for the good of America'.

Republicans believe in party over country. His base still is totally behind him and is unlikely to ever abandon him, Trump can do no wrong in their view.
