Tell that to Castro's laughing ghost.

The CIA didn’t have access to reaper drones when they were trying to kill Castro.

Just exploding cigars and seashells.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

Maduro's a douchebag, but wishing death on him is still a no-no.

As a Venezuelan that's still living here (too poor), i want him dead, and anyone related to him, also screw the Cubans and the Sandinistas.

Good nights everyone. I love y'all

You're overestimating the competence of the CIA. They've failed assassinations all the time. Also, exploding drones are exactly the kind of overpriced and ineffective gadgets the CIA would use.

On the other hand, if Maduro has any reason to suspect the CIA, he'd be loudly accusing them instead of the government of Colombia, and I don't think the CIA is good enough to completely hide involvement in an assassination attempt like this.

They did. Problem is they have nothing and he has the National Police, National Guard, and colectivos, who are pretty much street gangs in the pockets of the government. The latest round of protests saw 100 people die.

The only way any change will come to Venezuela is through two things: military intervention, which is unpalatable chiefly because a lot of Latin Americans don't like the US because of previous military interventions, and through a military coup, which is difficult because the military has been stacked by yes men.

It's like the Cold War never ended. But that's not a good idea, given Iran and Russia support Venezuela politically and militarily.

So I’m guessing no one in Venezuela owns a hunting rifle.

Not likely and all by design since that govt likes it's populace disarmed.

Not really. Most of the guns are in the hands of the cartels, gang members in the pockets of the government, petty criminals, the police and the military.

And end up in a potential military confrontation with Russia, or provoking Russia into acting elsewhere. Not exactly a good idea.

How are they gonna get to South America? With their pathetic navy? Good luck.

They'll back down rather than risk war over a fucking shithole like Venezuala.

Any Russian and Iranian influence should be removed from our side of the Atlantic.

Still, you’d think that with the fact that Colombia has been in a civil war for like the last thirty years there’s be plenty of arms floating around.
