I mean, I doubt people were excited to replace Huey Long or RFK, but they did it. And probably enjoyed being elected, even if it was at the expense of another.

We’ll just pull a joe Biden and say medina declined to run for a 2nd term when she was governor cause her son died and took a break and came back to run as senator in 2014...sounds realistic?

I think it'd be easier/simpler/better just to have her decline to run without throwing in that swerve. Not all govs go for two terms

People really think a Biden/Obama ticket would win 2020...like are we giving up that easily now. I’m going to make it my priority that old man Biden never gets that nomination.

Early polling is BS for primaries. I think Biden is doing well now because everyone knows his name. I don't think he's necessarily going to win in 2020's Democratic primary.

Looks like the Republican party line has held completely on Boyd, while Democrats and Progs stand unified against.

What is wrong with Biden?

IMHO he's the best centrist candidate Democrats have right now.

It's just the utter political failure of centrist democrats that makes them unappealing.

America could be doing much better and preserving the failed status quo isn't a step in the right direction.
