Appearance: Theodore Mosley is tall and lean, standing at roughly 6'4" and weighing around 180 lbs. He is always neatly groomed and properly dressed with his brown hair parted to the right under his bowler hat and his black suit clean and wrinkle free. He is fond of bow ties and has an impressive collection of various kinds. Finally, he wears a pair of khaki paints and a pair of brown dress shoes that are always freshly pressed and properly polished respectively.Gender: Male(Image)
Age: 16
Bio: Born in the Sinnoh region, Theodore Mosley was seemingly out of his environment. A cautious and unadventurous kid, Theodore was not seen hiking the snowy mountains, fishing in the many lakes, or digging in the Underground as most other kids his age were. Despite his lack of outdoor activities he was not bored or without excitement, finding the thrill other people had from their adventures in learning and studying the many interesting myths and stories of their region.
With his love of history constantly growing after witnessing and listening to stories about the rise and subsequent fall of Team Galactic, he made parallels between both his own region and others with their own villainous teams rising and falling. Interested by these parallels, Theodore decided to head out into the wider world, putting aside his adversity for adventure. After careful consideration, he decided to start his journey in the Maderia Region, believing that the creation of the Maderia League, combined with the active Team Shade, would allow for interesting and unique forms of historical research, analysis, and record keeping during this time.
Personality: Cordial and polite, Theodore is known for his reserved yet friendly personality. He is also not an adventuring type and prefers not to take risks.

Great! Although I will ask, doesn't Duskull learn Foresight at level 14? Because I know it knows Astonish at level 9.

For the meet up, because my character is too reluctant to start an interaction, could I force him to start one by having Mr. Hugs pull a prank on you, just stealing your hat or trying to scare you, and during the interaction to get our characters to agree to travel together? I planed on going to the rainforest to possibly study the ruins, and I was considering catching a Joltik or something there as well.

Hot tip dont request a specific pokemon to encounter or even mention one, the OP is inclined to make sure you dont encounter them
Yea sure thats good, Glen is heading to the gym but is taking his time, training and catching pokemon. He'd be happy to help you explore the ruins

Aliza
Appearance: Has the features of a slightly younger Nurse Joy, but with black-dyed hair in a single ponytail. Wears dark grey clothes including a hooded padded jacket (primarily for defence rather than warmth) and a cap.
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Bio:
Aliza was born in Ecruteak City and travelled the world with her parents as an infant. Her father was an archaeologist and her mother a Nurse Joy and powerful Fighting-type trainer who left her job to be with him on his expeditions. She grew up learning about Pokémon legends and history and trying to assist her parents in the expeditions. However, as children do, she instead found herself getting in the way and being a nuisance. When she was six years old her parents left her with her maternal grandmother, who ran a Pokémon Day Care Centre on Maderia Route 5 near Fortalore City.
She spent the next few years helping her grandmother to run the Centre and learning about Pokémon care, from medicines to Pokéball maintenance, as well as cooking and cleaning. Her parents stopped by every now and then, but they never stayed long enough and their lengths of absence grew longer and longer. As adolescence approached, her demeanour took a turn for the worse. She began resenting her parents for their absence, and her grandmother for insisting that she too would one day become a Pokémon Nurse, without even acknowledging that she could have plans of her own. She started acting out, sneaking into Fortalore City and making trouble, getting into fights with people or Pokémon almost every night and avoiding her parents during their rare visits. Matters came to a head on her fifteenth birthday, when she ran away from home due to one such visit and got involved in a gang fight that was broken up by the police. The city's Officer Jenny was an old friend of her mother and cared deeply for her, having tried to help her many times in the preceding years. Sitting in a police station, waiting for her parents to come and collect her in shame and facing Jenny's patient kindness, Aliza finally broke down, Jenny soothing her through her sorrow, anger and guilt, so that when her parents arrived they were able to tearfully reconcile at last.
Her parents stayed for several months more, but eventually had to leave, as they had responsibilities at an archaeological dig in the Alola region that would keep them away for several years. In that time, her mother's Pangoro was found with an egg, which she gave to Aliza to raise. However, when it was a year old, it became badly ill, too much for the facilities of the Day Care to handle, and so Aliza hurried with it over to the Fortalore City Pokémon Centre. While she was gone, on a dark, rainy night, the Day Care Centre was attacked and every Pokémon within was stolen. Aliza's grandmother pursued the thieves out into the rain, where she collapsed. Aliza was just leaving the Pokémon Centre when she was told that her grandmother had been taken to the hospital.
Her family's Day Care Centre had been a famous institution, and even one of the region's top politicians had a Pokémon there. He now brought his full political might to bear in a smear campaign against the Centre for its negligence in allowing his Pokémon, and those of many others, to be stolen. Legal action followed, and the Centre was repossessed. Aliza's grandmother was moved to a retirement home where she was well cared for (the Joys look after their own), and Aliza stayed with her for the next year, working at the Pokémon Gym to make ends meet (as little more than a kitchen assistant and cleaner, though carefully studying the Gym's trainers and leader all the while). In that time darkness began to return to her heart. She trained herself and her Pancham ruthlessly hard, until she felt herself ready to set out on her journey. Her goal; to become powerful enough to crush anyone who would dare look down on her or her grandmother.
Personality:
She defaults to warm and friendly (the Joy genes are hard to overcome) but has an explosive and short temper and can be very bitter. She also has no reservations about getting her hands dirty, or fighting dirtier, though she detests cheating. Though she is prideful, she focuses on the ends rather than the means, and so is fully prepared to accept her own weakness and ask for help in getting stronger.
Items:
1900 pokédollars
3 Pokéballs
Pokégear (to keep in contact with her grandmother)
Thermos flask of hot chocolate
Torch (with batteries and winding-handle)
A huge backpack, containing:
First aid kit including 2 potions
Tarpaulin for making shelter
Cooking supplies (now including a tub of Wepear and Pinap berries)
Water containers and purifiers
Ruins, Rituals and Relics: The Pokémon World in 1,000 Artefacts, her father's ground-breaking work. (Do not drop on wooden floors, or you'll see how 'ground-breaking' the over 2,000-page tome really is)
Old Rod
6 Oran Berries
--Optional--
Likes: Hot chocolate, Dark types, getting into fights, humiliating smug people, power, Pokémon history and archaeology, Pokémon with a somewhat savage temperament.
Dislikes: Psychic type moves (the anime versions of Psychic and Confusion are ludicrously overpowered), cheating (I don't know if this RP has in-battle item use, but she would not stop her attacks to allow it, so if her opponent tried to use a potion or something she'd probably just attack trainer and Pokémon together), hideous Pokémon like Jynx, Mr Mime and Aromatisse, politicians (depending on the role Ferris plays in Altorre city governance, this might include him), smug people, people who are cruel to Pokémon (including giving them harmful items like Life Orb).
Battle Theme: Kari Sigurdsson - Twist of Fate
Other:
She has a habit of vanishing to train in seclusion. (An attempt to justify in-story my erratic availability)
She intends to specialise in Dark-type Pokémon.

Species: Pancham
Gender: Female
Age: 2
Item (If applicable): Lucky Egg (memento from the Day Care Centre)
Pokéball Type: Normal
Personality:
Stubborn, serious and a bit on the savage side. Fiercely loyal to Aliza and her grandmother.
Ability: Iron Fist
Moves:Trainer: Aliza
- Tackle
- Arm Thrust
- Work Up
- Foul Play (bred, and not yet fully mastered)
- Karate Chop
--Optional--
Bio:
Hatched from the egg of Aliza's mother's Pangoro, with the father being one of the Pokémon left at the Day Care (Either a Houndoom, Krookodile, Zoroark or Oranguru). It was raised in comfort and contentment until the day it fell badly ill, and while it was being taken to the Pokémon Centre, the Day Care was attacked. After that, Aliza began training it in earnest. The training was intense almost to the point of cruelty, but it would have it no other way. It blames its own weakness for Aliza's grandmother's condition almost as much as it blames the thieves, and desires vengeance against them far more than Aliza does. It also holds some bitter feelings towards Aliza's parents and their Pokémon for leaving.
Likes: Training, fighting, spicy food, Aliza and her grandmother.
Dislikes: Aliza's parents, Pokémon thieves, dry flavours.
Other:
Foul Play only rarely comes out at full power, and usually instead comes out at approximately half power (base power 50?)

Ability: Super Luck

- Peck
- Astonish
- Pursuit
--Optional--
Bio:
Caught in an alleyway after it was surprised while eating from garbage and attacked Aliza, a decision it soon regretted. It is still a bit scared of her.
Likes: Causing trouble, taking risks, sweet food.
Dislikes: Being mocked, people or Pokémon mocking its trainer, sour food.

Purrloin
Species: Purrloin
Gender: Male
Age: 3
Item (If applicable): None
Pokéball Type: Normal
Personality:
Cheerful, fast, and a bit of a thrill-seeker, but savagely fierce in combat.
Ability: Limber
Moves:Trainer: Aliza
- Scratch
- Growl
- Assist
- Sand Attack
- Fury Swipes
--Optional--
Bio:
Purrloin grew up in the local Liepard's clowder, and from a young age had been warned against tangling with monsters such as Aliza. In the following years, it found out why on several occasions, witnessing Aliza and Liepard's fights and their occasional alliances against the other powers of Fortalore's streets. Purrloin has great respect for Aliza's strength, and looks forwards to the opportunities the journey will bring, but still misses its old clowder.
Likes: Its clowder, Fortalore, string, boxes, power, sweet food.
Dislikes: Rival gangs, water, Nanab Berries, Tropiusfruit, Vacuum cleaners, dry flavours.
