Slim, a bit shorter, he was always a good runner and he loved football.He came to Daytona after getting sports scholarship and he joined the football team there His agility made him a good running back and he enjoys the thrill of the football game. Football also gives him some time to rest his grey cells from cramming forensics and criminology. His grades were mostly average so far. He has on and off girlfriend.

That's fine with me, mostly because I haven't posted yet and am still trying to think of a way to introduce Paul and Ágúst. Possibly Brian as well, depending on what it is, although since he's a teacher I'm not really banking on it. Seriously, I have no real ideas on what to do with them, mostly because Paul can't think of an answer for Mr. Orville's class, I'm not super keen on a second classroom thread being opened just for my maths teacher and I'm not really sure who'd be interested in talking to Ágúst and I don't want him to butt into someone else's conversation (although if anyone wants to talk to my artistic Icelandic bloke, please let me know).

However, he was lucky to meet a patient teacher Mercedes Asuna, who taught Sociology in public school he attended. She had a distinct way of approaching troubled students and she managed to convince him to study to get better grades and get a scholarship for Austin University in Texas. In Austin Gene studied Finance and Sociology and it was there that he became interested in Marxism, hanging out with both college kids and workers from poor immigrant community he was working with to complete his sociology Masters. Inspired by his mentor Ms. Asuna, he decided to become a teacher himself and he accepted opening in Daytona High-School. He was accepted as Sociology teacher and became active in local branch of American Federation of Teachers. He rose to the position of a leader thanks to his hard work and he has respectable number of students despite teaching a difficult elective subject-

He plays for an amateur rugby team but the season hasn't really started yet so that's one out; not to mention that I'm not sure if Gene would be interested in having a tryout for the team. He likes watching the soccer but in-universe there isn't a game until the 19th (Orlando City against Columbus Crew, which ended in a 1-1 draw). But other than that, he's quite fond of pool, he likes spending time with his family (not the most exciting thing in the world but it keeps him occupied) and, although he doesn't do it anymore, he used to like going to raves back in the late 80s and 90s.

It's not his first year, but he could have helped him with something. Gene is young, energetic and physically fit so tryouts could be something he'd try. Also, he is sociable so he might go out with him anyway. Maybe for the sake of bonding, or to repay a favor, like you mentioned.

I've been away the last few days, posting a bit on my phone, but not much has occurred in that span.

A trio of freshmen are meandering around the Daytona Boardwalk, which I see Ryan Weber is apparently there as well. Sophia Taylor and Eric Stevens are, also, walking around too - in case you wanted to have Ryan run into them.

Elsewhere, there is a party occurring in a special thread, dubbed 'Special Events.' You are free to have either Weber show up, as you please. If interested, more details can be provided.
