Yesterday at night, Serbian fans went out in Vienna chanting "Noz, Zica, Srebrenica!" (Knife, Wire, Srebrenica!), a slogan that glorifies the Bosnian Genocide in Srebrenica.
They also chanted "Ubi ubi, siptara!" (Kill the Albanian!), just letting their frustation about the lost game out.
There are also photos of Serbian wearing shirts with war criminal Sratko Mladic, who conducted the Genocide and has recently been sentenced for life, circling around on the Internet. A * war criminal. In Sports.
My question: What the fuk has the match between Switzerland and Serbia to do with the Bosnian War?

A lot of traditionally good teams are having a poor world cup. Set aside that Holland and Italy aren't even playing then Argentina and Germany are not providing much confidence. I'm not fully convinced by Brazil yet but, same as France, they might just be strolling a little against these early defensively set up teams.

Group games are hard to really figure, it's defensive set up with counter attack against teams that are looking to score. Having said that I feel Argentina are going to squeak through if their morale isn't thoroughly shot.

I think France, Belgium and Brazil remain the front runners here - I'll be interested to watch England against Panama because they're slowly becoming the dark horse for me, they look to potentially have an easy route.

EDIT: I forgot Spain, Spain are looking good - I think I'd like a Spain - France final at the moment, with no preference as to the winner.

Extremely mixed feelings about last night's Germany Sweden match. On one hand I'm annoyed by it. On the other, my fling seems to be happy. And happy wife, happy life, so I'll just find another moment to gloat.
