Dijana Jurina's "Zakljucan" earned a second consecutive 2nd place for Izmedu and their seventh overall in the WorldVision Song Contest. The result came as both a relief to the WorldVision team considering how much uncertainty surrounded the entry. However, those in the WorldVision team were left scratching their heads. The Izmeduan entries that were chosen via this selection had managed to secure 3 World Hit Festival wins, but not a single WorldVision win was in sight. Stuck between having a great record but wanting to secure at least one WorldVision win with the format, RTI were at a bizarre crossroads. Either way, RTI knew they had to continue on, and the work done the past few editions provided a steady foundation to which to progress.

The current of submissions was larger and even more competitive than ever. RTI would field about 700 entries, ranging from legendary names at the very high-end of the Izmeduan music industry to more local names. This led to a grueling period of eliminating potentially strong entries and having to reject names that could've been in shoe-ins in the past. After 2 semi-final televoting rounds, the Grand Final of Izmepisma stands with 9 songs that are now in the hands of international juries. These 9 songs now stand before you, ready for your votes.

International juries will vote by ranking their top 7 songs in the following format. 12 points to their favorite, 10 to their 2nd, 8 to their 3rd, then 6, 4, 2, and 1 points for 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th respectively. Your least favorite 2 songs will not receive any votes. The final result of Izmepisma will be determined through a 50/50 split of the international jury and public vote. The amount of points that the public will give out will be determined by how many international juries vote for the national final.

Following Polkopia's participation in the 65th edition of the Worldvision Song Contest finishing in 8th place, the PNB has therefore decided to conform its participation in the 66th edition. Again, the Polkopian broadcaster has opted to select their entrant in the same format- via national final. The National Selection in question will again be through the Landa vy Polkopiya, which has served as the method in which Polkopia selects their artist and song for most of their Worldvision participation. Ten songs will have qualified for the Grand Final, and these ten songs will be voted upon by a 50/50 split between a domestic televote and international jurors' votes.

STERBLICHENGOKAI- After the nation's slightly improved result in WorldVision following the disapointment in WV65, TÖBUK has opted for an internal selection for WV66. While a previous "Sinun Valintasi"contestant was considered for the contest, an unexpected accident resulted in their unavailability to perform. Therefore, the singer Svea Valdnieks will represent Tödlichebujoku in WorldVision 66. Her song "Turn Back Time", based on the recent shocking death of a loved one, has attracted international praise and domestic support. Svea herself has noted her excitement in being able to perform for her nation in the coming contest.
Svea, a solo performer, was reported to say, "My loss has brought pain, but it has also brought inspiration. I am incredibly grateful to represent my country Tödlichebujoku in this upcoming WorldVision, anywhere it may be held!"

The Sunlight Song Contest has a rich history of delivering fine musical acts throughout Syrche and the Surrounding region. The Contest was preceded by the Sønnelåt Lide Alpaisne, or, Alpine League Song Festival, an International contest between neighboring nations which ended in 2012 due to the Dåtsche Banking Crisis.

In 2017 the contest was revived by Syrche, on a National level, and it would serve as the National Final for WorldVision 65, and now WV66.. 5 Songs have been selected for international critique and will be voted by a 50/50 split between Domestic Televote and the International Juries.

NNN regretfully confirms that Normandy and Picardy will not be returning to the WorldVision Song Contest for its 66th Edition, due to a mixture of poor results and budget pressures meaning that our participation is no longer viable for the upcoming contest. We hope to return to the contest as soon as circumstances improve, but for now it's goodnight from Caen.
