ASP foundation
[LOCATION CLASSIFIED]

Everything in the facility was going smoothly. The ASPs were oddly content for once, the hundreds of test subjects were calm most of them unknowing of what they were actually there for, and for the first time in foundation history they would let visitors from the outside world inside the foundation. It should be a good day for the foundation.

Security was of course on high alert with a all time record high of guards securing the area. Upon entering the secret elevator you would be immediately checked for any weapons and or other dangerous objects. Further more a special team of individuals made up of those who had interfered with the ASP's work and were recruited because of their special talents. Suffice to say the ASP was ready for almost anything.

Dr.Cavalier, the appointed tour guide of the foreigners coming into the Foundation, was not in the best of moods. She was denied the promotion to Head of ASP field operation because of reasons that she saw as stupid. Reasons such as "serious psychological concerns" and "Possibility of psychopathy" things that were really insignificant. Whatever the reasons were she had to guide the outsiders through the facility she had lived in almost her whole life another thing she was not happy about. She moved towards the entrance of the facility and began waiting the the foreign dignitaries to come in. She could already tell it would be a long day.

"How interesting..." Sekka said to himself as he walked in the foundation's hallways after the security inspections with the visibly shaken D'aillisioux walking slowly alongside him, "Reminds me quite a lot of The Gatekeeper's Prison Tower, only there is much more people here." The foundation's employees seemed competent enough, but Sekka still wondered if they understood their anomalies like The Gatekeeper thoroughly understood his beasts, the latter using his knowledge to ensure that his captives would not only stay, but also be easily countered if they did escape. Rarely would these creatures or things escape, though, in part due to Psytrine brilliance & also from his own kindness. Successfully rehabilitated beasts oftentimes visited The Gatekeeper to show their appreciation for him, although the fact that they weren't destroying cities or villages was a gift enough for him.

The fact that he was rehabilitating anything was one of the key differences between him & other containment-type organizations. Whereas others like the SCP (multiversal contact was widespread back in Parfuhmerie's universe, so they knew of many different universes) usually sought to contain their creatures, The Gatekeeper always released them when their behavior improved. While predatory beasts remained predatory & herbivorous beasts remained herbivorous, they were not as hostile or territorial as they had once been. In the end, everyone & everything benefited from his work, & he himself gained many powerful allies, such as the mighty dragon known as "The August Darkness" Seiryuu. While the dragon was once a horrible scourge upon the Shirnijing Region, with his abilities to smash anything he desired with waves of gravity or summon clouds of darkness, The Gatekeeper reached into the beast's heart & succeeded in making it less aggressive.

No other organization would have been so apt to befriend a dragon so vicious & so destructive, having been responsible for obliterating an entire army of a civilization, & would have certainly done it several times more. As it turned out, Seiryuu hid in its devastating body mighty authority & wisdom, the former of which being clear — although nobody noted this as they were too busy running from the dragon's rage — & the latter a much more obscure trait. Both would turn out to be assets later on, for the dragon changed from a vicious maelstrom of purple ruin into what was proclaimed as a worldly judge able to fairly scrutinize anyone & any case. Consequently, Seiryuu began to preside over international courts for cases of such enormous severity & confounding moral ambiguity that both sides were right & wrong in some way. Still, he acted as a powerful judge, unclouded by anything frivolous like alliances or biases.

That was the past, present, future, & altered fate of the dragon, all due to the kindness of one demon who had dedicated his life to this field of work. It was the same sort of altruism that characterized so many of the leaders that Sekka idolized — such as Pedro II of Brazil, who was effective despite his eventual disdain for his throne — & was also needed for D'aillisioux, who was still visibly shaking & bawling. While Sekka was unsure of the boy's past, what was certain was that he had a crippling fear of being touched that was partially built into him (quite literally, as he was a Doll) & partially environmental, with this dread of physical contact causing him to freeze up whenever he was touched. Thorough physical contact, such as the sort that occurred during the security, could cause him to cry or break down. Currently, it was primarily the former of the two, but his hands were clutching the air in front of him as though that was where his head was.

"D'aillisioux, are you alright enough to continue?" Sekka asked, crouching down a little in order to get closer to the boy.
It took a few seconds for his response. "H-hah... y-yeah. I-I'll be f-fine," his eyes were darting about fearfully, although Sekka could tell that the boy's senses were beginning to weaken severely.
"Are you absolutely sure? We can still leave & go back to the Guild, if you want. No harm."
"Y-y-yes!" D'aillisioux responded, blinking several times & returning his hands to actually be clutching around his head, "A-ah..." By now, his hearing & sight were in a dream-like state — he felt as though he was perceiving with lengthy seconds between scenes. Moments later, he walked into a pillar & fell onto the floor, hyperventilating & even more distressed.

Sekka scraped his left hand over his right hand, expecting something to happen. "Oh, right," he said to himself as a black sphere appeared above his hand, which he placed over the boy before then moving his hand up & rapidly waving it around a few times. Moments later, D'aillisioux was somehow standing, although he was still near-silently crying & clutching his head. "D'ailli..." Sekka began, his tone as kindly & understanding as he could make it, "Listen to me, I can still send you back if you're not comfortable here."

"N-no, I-I'm fine..." D'aillisioux replied. To him, there was a sort of condescending tone hidden in Sekka's voice, & in tandem with the boy's own desperation to please others (for that was why he was created), the prospect of leaving was highly undesirable to him. The only thing that could force D'aillisioux away from Sekka would be death, but he was certain that he would try to avoid such a fate, if only to avoid disappointing him. Unfortunately for the duo, the entire spectacle of D'aillisioux crying & walking into the pillar was done also entirely in view of Dr. Cavalier, who would probably have a visible reaction. Hopefully she would not exacerbate the boy's condition.

Dr.Cavalier was standing nearby as she saw a....doll boy? Collapse onto a pillar and a humanoid purple dragon come next to it to comfort it. "And just when I had thought I had seen everything." she said her French accent shining through. She supposed she should see what was wrong with them but why should she help two anomalies? Most of the ASP was more accepting of ASPs who were marked safe and were sentient but Cavalier was what most would call a 'human supremacist'. It did not seem he would stop anytime soon and the sound of them arguing was beginning to annoy her. She rolled her eyes "Purple dragon man. What is wrong with the doll boy? His whining is highly annoying and I've been having a bad day. It is the last thing I need so please shut him up." Cavalier said coldly. The disgust in her voice was audible as she looked at the two anomalies. She couldn't have cared less about the doll but it was probably best to keep the guests happy. After all maybe this would get her that promotion, but if this was what it took maybe it wasn't worth it.

Victor Vonstein entered into the main lobby of the ASP Foundation, taking note of the meatbag employees with a tired look in his eyes. The only expression how inactive he has been in the recent years, not much-causing problems in the world, anytime soon, and he probably hasn't had any desire to anyways with the only opponents, he likes to play with are busy with more important matters than roughhousing. Victor was dressed casually wearing a white collar jacket with a greyish light shirt, white bandages loosely wrapped around his right arm, and white jeans with white and black Adidas. And lastly, his symbolic leather black mask used for his ghoulish diners to aid in feasting on unsuspecting victims, when he begins his hunt for the meat bags. Only now, he would be snacking on fried fingers of an unidentified politician, not caring if this was against the Foundation's ethical policy, he was hungry, and there wasn't anything nearby to purchase 'normal' food to eat. He'd walk to Cavalier, looking up at her, he was only the height of 152.4 centimeters(5'0 ft), staring at her with jaded eyes. Taking a crunch out of a fried finger. "When does the Freakshow start?" He inquired, in a monotone voice.

Rapture City

  • In the underwater city, two roles have emerged from the City's ongoing civil war: the City Monitors who defend the peace and the Red Caps who fight against unjust systems. The city's infrastructure is crumbling under its own weight and kinship is snuffed by the paranoia of totalitarianism. Yet the people would be in for a surprise as their virtual overlord have died many years ago as the oppression continues under his name...
  • Not an 1-1 exact replica of Bioshock lore and Rapture City. Only the city's atmosphere and setting is maintained.

Before Cavalier got a response from the two another walked up to her. He looked normal compared the two on the floor but then she noticed the deep fried finger in his mouth. She had she things much worse so she wasn't all that bothered by it. "The tour starts when everyone else gets here and that might be a while. Make yourself comfortable but don't be too comfortable. I don't want to hear that half of the facility are missing fingers." she said with the same coldness as before. She grimaced as she whispered "Freaks' under her breath. Honestly at this point they might as well let the anomalies out Cavalier thought as she was faced with these two.

Out of the three only one looked like a normal person but took the phrase 'finger licking good' to a whole new level. Who would be next? Cavalier sighed before taking out a cigarette from her lab coat and began smoking

ASP Foundation Headquarters Entrance, Unknown Location

PAC Major General Artemi Grigory adjusted his grey uniform as he strode down the ASP Foundation's hallways. The guards had been thorough, but he hadn't taken the lengths to hide his sidearm as he usually would, given he was with polite company, and he needed to validate them somehow. However, he did note the absence of any atmospheric pressure sensors inside the halls of the compound. He assumed that they hadn't been subject to many unexpected explosive decompression events as his homeland's facilities. Artemi noted this mentally for his report, running a gloved hand along the white walls. He flipped his hand over, No dust he thought, they put work into the cleanliness of the facility, at least.

Following the path assigned to him by the staff, he soon arrived where the gaggle of fellow 'tourists' had gathered. His gaze danced across each of them quickly, a living doll, a large reptilian, and what seemed to be a short cannibal. He glanced at the rather uncomfortable looking scientist with a rather bemused expression, for someone who had been tasked with working around anomalies, she sure didn't look like it. He noted the cigarette, a poor display for a facility such as this one, another suggestion for his report.
Artemi readjusted the glove over his left hand, looking around at the others, asking, "I hope everyone is well?"

Cavalier noticed the newcomer. "We're doing great. You know all the best things are here. A depressed doll boy being comforted by that thing and a cannibal who took KFC's slogan way too seriously. Everything is perfect." she rolled her eyes as she continued smoking her cigarette.

He looked like the only official person there and that would be better than the company there at the moment. Cavalier walked towards him "Hey you look like an actual person worth talking to. I'm Dr.Cavalier how about you?."

[GHOST LOCATION]
ASP Foundation Headquarters Entrance

The Exodian team walked down the hall after exiting the elevator, taking in and silently marveling at the looks of the place.

A pale General Avery Reissen, in single-breasted Army Biological Security Division light dress grays, trousers, and a matching garrison cap, denoting one of the highest (unofficial) ranks in the Exodian military, peered around the room, green eyes intently scanning every detail behind a carefree mask. His barrel chest heaved slightly with every breath, muscle-lined arms flexing comfortably under a dress shirt and sports top, and blonde hair slicked back. In addition to his holsters and superalloy armor under his jacket, several holsters- some, such as his GF-W in .45 Short and his P2S-D/A, were openly carried on hip and chest, while others, as his two revolvers, were hidden under the folds of the loose-worn coat. He had been carrying a long, thick, black leather case with backpack straps, a style commonly carried by New Collective City businessmen and Exodian Navy commanders alike, (which he had left in the care of the Atkemrian guards before the elevator), and wore jump boots with a strip of broguing.

Dressed in dark navy dress blues, her own matching garrison cap, and a black skirt, Brigadier General Mercedes Clarke was a polar opposite- dark brown skin that could easily fit in with most of the Atkemrians here, she was a descendant of the original peoples of the Exodian archipelago. A strong and well built, yet still short and lean physique, gave her a graceful appearance, with curly black hair in a bushy ponytail and a withdrawn, quiet expression- a look that could fool anyone, had she not had the Union AC K02 8-shot .357 autorevolver hanging in a holster below her chest. Unlike her CO, she traveled light, with a messenger bag and a set of pouches in a bandolier with her holster over her shoulder. In addition to her revolver, she wore the same weapons that Reissen openly carried.

The security team was quite something to look at, too- while not in their shoulder pads, helmets, STA eyewear, and with their main weapons, their joint pads and vests still remained, as did the ABSD's signature indigo fatigues. First Lieutenant Henry Fonsworth, a dark-skinned, assertive-looking man, was the leader of the unit, while Staff Sergeant Pasha Volkoff, a Russian blue-eyed blonde who scanned the room intently, was the field technician. Both men were large bruisers, but seemed smart enough to handle a great deal many situations.*

The two others were a bit more to absorb- Master Sergeant Romeo Alcono, a tan, slick-haired Filipino with a fat, silver Desert Eagle copy on his belt, combed the area visually even more coarsely than his comrades, seemingly observing the grooves of every screw on the wall vents, while Corporal Second Class Andretta Jansa, a tall, wide-eyed Italian brunette with a P2S-D/A on her hip, seemingly tried to follow suit with her officer.

As they entered the main area, they immediately tensed up at the sight of the other visitors and took ready positions, with Reissen and Alcono clearly putting a hand on their pistols, ready to switch off their safeties and draw them. Reissen's carefree expression was blown away in a millisecond, while Alcono became only more intense.
"Great." Reissen growled under his breath. "5 minutes in and looks like we've already had a fuckin' disaster with retainment protocols." He eyed the humanoid dragon, trying to mask a bit of contempt. Alcono had his eyes trained on Victor, with an invisible aura around the latter he somehow recognized easily only fueling the intensity of his stare.

Clarke and the members of the security team stared at Cavalier, one of the few human figures they recognized, silently begging for an explanation.

"I would be Major Genral Artemi Grigori, it's good to meet you." He nodded at the scientist, his slight smile dropped as he continued, "But I wouldn't discount our peers, they've presumably come from afar to be here."
Artemi turned to face the door where the two new arrivals from Exodia stood, motioning with his gloved hand towards the less 'conventional' guests. "Don't worry, despite their appearances, they are also here to tour the facility." He said in a warm voice, appearing all too comfortable in the situation.

"Purple... dragon... what?" Sekka said, the illusion over him suddenly vanishing & revealing his usual appearance of his robot-like suit for just Dr. Cavalier (anyone who entered in later would see his usual form once they commented or noticed his purported dragon-like form). He continued, his tone bland & emotionless, like some sort of bad actor who really didn't understand emotion, "Huh? You felt that too, right? A bit of... something being taken off of me? As for the boy... how do you know that...? Ah, nevermind. That's not pertinent." He paused & glanced at D'aillisioux, who was looking fearfully at Dr. Cavalier while still near-silently crying. His already distressed face now seemed even more panicked, with a separate hint of terror directed at Sekka. "So sorry about him, he's just a bit shaken up from security, but I'm certain it was not because they did anything out of procedure," Sekka used his Gap magic to concentrate his voice towards Dr. Cavalier, too quietly for D'aillisioux to hear & just loud enough for her to clearly hear.

"As I am sure you can see, the boy, whose name is D'aillisioux, is quite skittish... among other such adjectives." D'aillisioux himself, meanwhile, was perfectly aware of Dr. Cavalier's comment towards him, & suddenly stopped crying after Sekka used his magic to speak with Dr. Cavalier. In fact, not only was he not crying, but his hyperventilating seemed to stop, as did his breathing overall. Moments later, the hair of his normally straight tiny ponytail that he had sprouting from the top of his head began to extend out a few inches, just enough to curl into spirals. "Urgash's coils, that is not good," Sekka said to himself when he saw the boy's hair begin to suddenly change, his face contorting into a grimace of panic as he began to reach towards his throat for no clear reason — he did not even bother to remove the short scarf in his way. The only message that the boy sent was a shaking finger pointing towards Victor.

Sekka raised his hand into the air, a purple circle appearing in his palm. After a brief second, a dome of purple energy encased D'aillisioux. "Deep apologies... whoever you are," the demon said towards Victor, "I hope that the boy did not inadvertently offend you? He is a bit skittish by nature, & has a bizarre sort of intuition that always guides his first reactions to others." Thankfully for Dr. Cavalier, the dome that Sekka had put around D'aillisioux was enough to silence him, although if one were to step near, they would feel an intense desire to get away from that tomb now occupied by that boy. He clearly had strange, somewhat worrisome powers that were greatly guided by his emotions. Depending on how well one could take care of him, D'aillisioux could either be an asset or an enormous burden.

With that in mind, Sekka realized that he forgot to take along another assassin of his who was the boy's best friend & also an unparalleled source of comfort for him. Whenever D'aillisioux woke up from a nightmare or had a breakdown like this, the other assassin could be expected to — if he was there — easily restore the doll back to working condition. On the other hand, Sekka was completely unqualified for something like this, something that needed a degree of humanity & warm compassion, both of which he lacked to a great degree. He tried, yes, but this was something much different from the battlefields or economic waltzes he was accustomed to. Still, though, the camaraderie exhibited by the Assassin's Guild was impressive, with Notburga often acting as the motherly figure over all of the other misfits. Perhaps it was their similar past of being outcasts that made them so close.

Many of the epitome assassins who weren't completely artificial were not exactly the best people. The aforementioned Notburga, for example, implied that she was once not a maid, but the wife of some influential baron somewhere else. When he & all his children were assassinated, she disguised herself as a simple maid, changed her name to Notburga Jégado (she enjoyed history), went into the service of her husband's murderer, & worked her way up the ranks before finally murdering the fellow. Of course, she had to flee somewhere if she wanted to evade murder charges, but where? A stroke of luck let her hear of the Parfuhmerian Assassin Guild, which she promptly sought refuge in.

On the other hand, fellow assassin Akō Frollo was once his tribe's greatest warrior, but his uncouth & aggressive behavior was only allowed for so long before he was forcibly removed. In a fit of revenge, he ended up massacring those who were once his friends & family, & after the initial shock, he fled in shame — the only time he had ever run away from something. Like Notburga, he would eventually find his way into Parfuhmerie, where he joined the guild as a brute-type assassin, in hopes that he would eventually learn to be more calm & methodical despite his type's description. With how he reveled in combat & Notburga's competitive nature, the two naturally grew to be great friends, the latter having even taught him how to cook, despite his brutish personality.

Lastly, there were Pâté Chaud, D'aillisioux, & Mawsy Greed. The first was once a young clown & circus performer in an entertainment troupe in Parfuhmerie, only to be killed in a tragic accident while in his rabbit outfit. When a random necromancer raised him back from the dead, he was rejected by his former group, mostly due to how disgusting he looked after his revival. Like many other assassins, fate led him to the Assassin's Guild. However, the other two were both mysterious dolls with unclear pasts, Mawsy having apparently shown up one day, based on Assassin's Guild records, while D'aillisioux — in a disheveled state, with his clothes torn & his body muddy — sought refuge in the guild after being helped by the paladin Tsemper Fi. What they did prior the guild, or whether or not they truly existed before they were found, was unknown.

So it begins...

Image

Said Dr. Otani, mumbling under his breath, as he took his first steps into the ASP lobby. His oversized fur coat slightly dragged across the floor, but naught did he mind it. He was not interested in the others who were going about the room; he had a simple, uninterested expression on his face. The Ushanka mounted on his bald head bore the well-known hammer, sickle and star which most politburo officials used in the old days. He wore thin-rimmed, round glasses, looking menacingly eerie as it reflected the ceiling lights. His olive green military garbs were accompanied with a black tie, and a black collared shirt. His physique was that of a typical scientist in the States. Short, thin, and unfit.

The man leaned by one of the walls, reaching for a smoke- and remembering that this was not his lab, thus declining it from himself, and silently awaiting whatever was to come.

Unknown town, Atkemri

Deserts were hardly and rarely pleasant places to be in. There was little doubt or dispute over this among the Sarkites since its inhospitable properties were naturally opposed to the ideals that the life, the Flesh, which they knew of, thrived in, but the long march of transcension their ancient creed promised them would sooner or later render the difficulties posed by huge day-night temperature differences and absence of precipitation and hydration minimal, and after all, the limitations set by false gods were there to be overcame and to be broken. There was no relevance or significance to any legacy of a deity after it was devoured, something Sarkites did on a daily basis and treated as religiously significant, yet mundanely routine.

This small hamlet existed thanks to the fortune of being positioned comfortably close to a river, and adjacent to vegetation, albeit rather scattered. More recently, a highway would pass through here, as if the light of civilization had bisected the settlement and brought the villagers out of darkness. The stream being too weak and the rain negligible for farming at a significant scale, its inhabitants made a living from services of the rest area positioned a few kilometers up the road, as well as rearing and herding of goats and cattle. Income however was primarily derived from outside the village: the working adults were predominantly employed in cash crop farming or the manufacturing industry, both of which required a journey to lands far from here. Elders and left-behind children formed nearly all of the town's population for much of the year, and the fathers and mothers would only be here for important festivals when on a much-cherished break.

It was in the forgotten towns of newly industrializing countries such as Atkemri like this that the Orisha-Eaters, one of the myriad Sarkic cults and one of those that was based in Africa, expanded their influence into and began to exert a grip onto. Mother Titilayo, a nickname and face that was hardly suspicion-arousing, had not observed or experienced anything unusual even for those less mindful in the village for the decade she became the de facto unchallenged authority of its many families and households. The only thing any anomaly-concerned authority would pay attention to was a small shrub, a tree of life-magic, which grew perfectly functional body parts ready for transplant in case any villager got injured, and that the more qualified sorcerers could summon ferocious yet benevolent beasts for the protection of its inhabitants. The other odd detail was the inbreeding between and within the 4 'senior families', that migrated into the town some decades ago when an oasis they lived near was drained, and quickly earned respect and authority among the locals. They were long-lived and none of them bore flaws or defects, and so no eyes would be cast towards their work in their own houses.

In the unending wars of conquest and campaigns of Theophagy against much of the universe there were many bases with great importance and roles, and then there were communities like this, insignificant and tranquil outposts. But this appearance should not at all deceive any observers, as when the time comes recognition of their role will be swift, like all Sarkites. That shared faith had meaning.

On a regular day of a scorching sun, Titilayo received guests. Hundreds of them. They arrived from all directions and transports, from buses, cars, tunnels, caves, rivers, thin air, the shadows of trees, and even aircraft. A banquet for them, especially them, would render the entire village devoid of life in no time. They of course recognized this and demanded no treats or hospitality. The guests often preferred to deal in this way.

The gathering bore similarities to a museum, bizarre and exotic costumes and faces innumerably variable, and unparalleled testament to the divergence and change of the Sarkic cults ever since Grand Karcist Ion's uprising. Even the message had changed. There were those dressed in suits and shirts of the cities, possessing only disdain for any form of collaborative effort unless extremely necessary and focused only on breaking an ever increasing list of rules, morals and norms, as well as hunchbacked prostrators with the scent of decaying flesh whose long-deformed faces expressed the very abhorred worship of the gods Ion sought to crush and subdue via their pettiness. It was sometimes wondered that if Kythera no longer stood the banners of Hunger would collapse completely. Some of these passers-by were in open conflict with one another. Most of the cults whose representatives showed up had not even the slightest clue of each other's existence let alone communicated in recent memory. They all realized that the reason for their arrival here was not trivial.

Karcist Ovan defined for all intents and purposes a generic example of the savu-matkalainen, or 'smoke-travellers', a recently appearing group of Sarkic notables who indulged in the bloodshed of the unaware world, where they cultivated and developed strength and learning while spreading their faith as a light to those plunged into despair and misery. He himself had been witness and fighter at many battles, beginning with his military service in a country he had now forgotten and was more than eager to. Literate in military strategy of his day, he fought his holy wars greater and lesser with exactly how war was prosecuted as he had experienced. His venerable title of Karcist was the greatest military award and recognition that he earned with his learning, and vouched for by the tens of thousands of men he commanded and showed a path to.

He wore an Afghanka jacket complete with camouflage patterns, which he acquired more for collection rather than function. On his head was a cowboy hat which was part of an ill-fated effort to resemble the hat of Soviet airborne infantry in Afghanistan, which did reduce the character he imposed and projected, but this was little concern and most had knowledge of his exploits by this time. Ovan bore little taste for tentacles or other appendages protruding out of wrong places, but was still able to grow a few for purposes of administrative multitasking, which he found himself in very often. Aside from a scar on his right cheek and that his facial sinuses were constantly swelling and oozing with fluids, he was not unique in appearance and in general had a distaste for attention-seeking body modification.

The many Karcists and other regionally authoritative figures that came to meet had been briefed of their purpose and invited via messages beyond simple fleshly senses, and were more or less clear on that they were to attack and retrieve objects from the facility of an organization deluded enough to attempt to explore the world of the Unseen. The status of a plan however was something else, and here was the importance of Ovan's position. Principally these men were unconcerned, this not being a threat that endangered their faith, but cooperation had emerged only out of mutual interest and the belief that likelihood of success was greater when working with their brothers-in-religion, who were while not the most reliable and loyal of folk were always mutually intelligible in one way or another.

"Greetings, fellow hungry men. Soon we welcome the rare occasion of a hunt conducted by many of us jointly, and for this I, Karcist Ovan, shall be perching atop towers of cartilage guiding this as necessary."

There were no objections to Ovan's commanding authority not so much out of admiration or respect of him but rather most being unconcerned with the job, and he seemed more or less a fit for it.

"I shall be straight to the point. Our prey here is the ASP Foundation, an amateur among the thousands with the misconception that powers are to be restrained or utilized for their own petty and irrelevant causes. They have in their custody many objects of interest and use, which you all should have knowledge of as the reasons you've arrived here.

"To their misery, they have decided to allow visitors into this facility, and even earlier, went on a programme to further cooperation with other organizations. This of course only means additional yield for the harvest, as you would all be confident in. Brothers-in-faith working among them have already provided us with information on the ASP and its activities which concern this objective."

There was much chatter among the commanders as they discussed and proposed. Very soon a plan would be agreed on, and the many cults, groups and parochial communities that had lent their hand to this rarely seen combined effort perhaps rivalling the Siege of Gyaros and other early Adytum conquests in scale would assure the capability of the assets they promised.

"Nice, there's little of clouds, precipitation or anything else that'd clutter its sensors...anything they send will be as tangible as the sun. That and a properly set up eye grid, plus a hornet at Mach 6, they won't know what'll hit them." Ovan chuckled at the plans that were drawn out. "Only problem we'll have will be getting the things from that body pile!" laughed another from the side.

ASP Foundation, entrance

They looked normal, that was one of their greatest assets. Only one was normal, in fact, and she looked the oddest of them all; slim, statuesque and coldly beautiful. Her beauty however was hidden as it often was by a mask of ever-moving and changing glass, which covered her head save her eyes in shifting and dancing shadows. She was Vrone, or that was what they called her; what she called herself, and what her actual name was, only a very select few in the higher ranks of the havenic political and military hierarchies ever knew.
On her left stood a tall, slim man; his actual skeletal appearance hidden by an elusion cast by a device on his left shoulder: it hid his huge, balloon-like stomach as well. What it did not hide was his silent and graceful walk and his calculating expression; his soft and oily voice and his loose clothing. For Alfred Pescin, known as the spider, stealth was everything; other abilities were something as well, but stealth was highly important.
Grace Kadus was pretty normal to behold, save a strip of steel on one arm. She hadn't been born an anomaly; she'd been born a normal girl in the small, sleepy province of Terra Luciata; now however much of her body was a machine and sometimes she could be accused of thinking like one. She was one of the original super-soldiers, created by an expansionist Haven for the purposes of delivering knockout blows to well-protected and much-prepared targets. Her arm contained a gun. She could move much faster than her fellow humans, could hit harder and think faster. She was the original, and still she was the best: she was also Vrone's security.
Other anomalies, members of the Vakolskrtmm's research devision, made up a circle of 8 with Vrone in the centre; she seemed at home with them, but that was to be expected. Vrone had worked with anomalies for much of her life; she angered many in the roles of dealing with such creatures by holding the mindset that they were, on the whole, really usefully talented people who should not be contained, but should instead be given extremely high salaries to do jobs that they were best at. Her organisation, which was thought to be responsible for a sizeable proportion of the worlds terrorism, employed many of them.
Right now, however, their was a threat that Vrone hated to try and defeat: zealous security.

The group were armed to the teeth, even those members of it who could prove a formidable threat without weaponry. They proudly displayed their arms like a symbol of membership in an exclusive club; the club however was Havenic citizens, and it really was not that exclusive: the truth was that the Vakolicci population didn't really go anywhere unarmed. Vrone stepped up to the security staff that were beginning to demand her comrades handed in their weapons and shook her head.
"I think not," she said in a quiet, melodic voice.

ASP Foundation Headquarters Entrance
The Prussian-Polish team walked down the hall, silently taking in al that they saw.
All of them had given up their weapons ASIDE from the sabres used by the officers, which at this point were really just ceremonial(and really, you can't exactly wield a sabre in a tight space like this.)

Oberst Carl von Hesse was in the front. He was wearing the usual uniform of an Abwehr officer; grey trousers and uniform, and the famous pickelhaube. A boltpistol-a .75 pistol resembling a Mauser C96 that fired HE shells, was strapped to his right thigh, with a calvary sabre hanging on his left. To his left and right he was flanked by Hauptmann Jan Sobeski and Unteroffizier Hans von Schifflen, and behind them a 9-man detachment of Fallschirmjaegers. Sobeski, the leader of the squad, was wearing a green variant of the Knochensack, with a P08 Luger hanging from the right side of his belt, and a Koncerz in a sheath hanging from his left side. Hans, the squad gunner was wearing an identical uniform, but with a feldmutze instead of Sobeski's Stahlhelm. The 9 Fallschirmjaegers following them were in full combat gear; light flak vests on grey Wehrmacht-style uniforms. Ordinarily they would be carrying their M4 carbines, but they were currently reduced to their M1911s.

The 12-man party entered the main area to find...a humanoid dragon. The 9 Fallschirmjaegers tensed up, while Hans and Jan drew their sidearms and flicked off the safeties.
Carl looked over at Avery. "Did I just walk into a containment breach? Should've tried to sneak in my shotgun."
Hans muttered under his breath. "Should've brought my fuckin M-G3*...but no, security concerns and now we have a fucking a-E** running around..."

*MG3 is different from M-G3. MG3 is a descendant of the MG42; the M-G3 is what happens when a Fallschirmjaeger wants more dakka but doesn't like M249s.

ASP Headquarter, Somewhere on Earth.

A helicopter stopped outside the main entrance of the ASP building. Three figures in lab coat stepped down slowly, then approached the entrance of the ASP headquarter. Having entered the hall, a man with brown hair and pale white skin smirked, "this is quite...impressive. I don't understand how the anomalies got through securities like these". "Indeed" a woman responded, "don't even think a virus can get through security like this". Behind them was a rather bulky man, somehow he was rather introverted, and didn't quite talk to the other two. His lab coat and electronic glasses also seemed quite unfit, thought it was rather hard to tell why. Soon as the reached the reception place, the man with brown hair approached Dr.Cavalier, and greeted, "Dr. Cavalier, greetings, name's Oppius Curtius Valentinus, I was assigned to assist in the containment of anomalies. These are my colleagues, Dr. Aurelia Tullia from PRA and Dr. Servius Domitius Larcius from AMINE Laboratories". Soon as he introduced himself, Aureulia and Servius both greeted Dr. Cavalier after.

45 Minutes Before the Arrival...
Servius never liked lab coats, but for the sake of the mission, he had to hear one while disguised as a biochemist. In a way, he was rather worried, considering his knowledge with biochemistry was highly limited. 45 minutes or so before the arrival, he took out a small pistol from the medical kit, then carefully examined the suppressor. "but that away", said Oppius, while staring at the beauty of nature in Atkemri, "put it away commander. Choose alternative approaches". Having demonstrated a sense of frustration, Servius placed the pistol carefully in a safe, then put it on the seat beside him. Aurelia smiled, "while, I'm sure there are alternative ways to get things done commander, I'm sure you'll find them. Guns aren't always the sole solution".

Arrival
Upon arrival, the team brought along nothing but several large boxes of the basic equipment's used for biological analysis, as well as various common surgical tools, syringes and three small bottles of Batrachotoxin disguised as injectable erythromycin. Unlike the other two, Servius was assigned only one mission, remove all key ASP Liberation Front members that managed to infiltrate within the organization. <OOC: I'm not really sure if there's also a chemo-analysis thing as a part of the security check.>

Cavalier still waiting for the last few people and noticed the new arrivals coming in and through most weren't were th talking to though there were a few exceptions

A asian man walked in and introduced himself as Daywalker. She hadn't remebered any mention of a Daywalker but he must be some security detail. "I assume we did. Go over there with the rest of the security." Cavalier pointed to a group of people who of course weren't the only security but had a special amount of attention given to them. They weren't able to be clearly seen from where Cavalier and Daywalker stood but the ASP logos put onto their uniforms could.

Then Valentius introduced herself to Cavalier. She noticed they seemed much more professional than some of the other parties involved, speaking of parties involve they were all there, the tour could begin. "Alright can everyone please file into the elevator. The tour can begin." She gestured for all to enter the elevtor including the special security detail which comprised of two asians, a muscluar slavic woman with a minigun strapped onto her back, and a man covered in futuristic cyberntics.

Looking at the man in the Purnelewian uniform, Reissen folded his mouth into an open frown of disbelief. "I already can't goddamn believe anything. This has to be a joke of some kind."
Seeing the group in Prussian-Polish uniforms and hearing the officer's question, he only responded with an "I don't even know at this point. God save us." in an exasperated tone and a shake of his head.

Hand on her sidearm and with Corporal Jansa walking with her, Clarke stepped forward through the mess of people to take a position closest to Cavalier in the elevator. In a youthful, yet obviously concerned voice, she introduced herself.
"Um... Hello, madam? I'm Brigadier General Mercedes Clarke. Exodian Army Biological Security Division, or the ABSD. It's a pleasure to meet you- but are you sure you have this situation under your full control?"

In contrast, Reissen and the men of the security detail slid into the elevator and stood closest to the doors, all in tactical stances and with Reissen and Alcono trying to hide their fuming expressions.

Victor bounced into the elevator making himself comfortable in the right corner of the elevator. Not wanting to be near the Slavic woman, she freaks him out by her inhumane size with her reassembling the Himalayan mountains. ”Scary’ Victor mumbles to himself, getting out his headphones to play his Jack Johnson playlist to keep his nerves in check with Vonstein, seemingly only character here that cannot control the actions of his own body, making him a classification: keter class sentient, whichmust be immediately destroyed for the survival of humanity told in observation reports of his clashes with several figures in human history. His actual purpose here is to eliminate the ASP Liberation Forces from releasing some nastiness quarantine here. Under his father’s orders; in attempt to gain redemption and forgiveness for conflicts between his family and Terran countries. Victor could disobey him, if he was stupid enough to do so; against the Head of the Vonstein Family and iron veteran of various solar conflicts, in addition with the Hellgustine Unification War, the most horrific conflict in his races’ entire history, making it suicidal to defy the Imperator, won ended the war with one trillion enemy soldiers obliterated within nanoseconds from the power of the Crimson hammer passed down to different warlords, at the end of the millennium.

Until further instructions from the ASP staff, when they reached the level of the facility, Vonstein continued listening to his music playlist via headphones.

ASP Entrance
"Ah, lovely," Sekka began to saunter over to the elevator before momentarily pausing, "Ah, wait." With that, he turned towards the dome that he had encased D'aillisioux in & dispelled it, unveiling the boy, who was lying on the floor, visibly shivering. Sekka walked over to him, pulled out what resembled a stalk of lavender with light blue petals & a bright mint that seemed to be condensing the air around it into a cloud of visible water vapor, & gently scraped the stalk over D'aillisioux's cheek. A few moments later, his shivering stopped & he got up, still clutching his right temple with his right hand. "H-hah... thanks," the boy said. It wasn't quite clear what exactly the lavender stalk did — its scent could have had a calming effect, but with the water near it so clearly condensing into the characteristic clouds of water vapor, how could something so cold cure that?

The shivering could have been from some other source, yes, but the choice of the cure to the boy's condition seemed contradictory. Still, he was noticeably better. He was no longer crying or whining (which would certainly be to Dr. Cavalier's pleasure), & the tiny ponytail on the back of his head was no longer curled into a spiral. Seeing that he was no longer suffering too severe of a breakdown, Sekka began to walk over to the elevator at a fairly fast pace, with D'aillisioux closely following him. However, the boy's feet seemed to barely be touching the floor — instead, he was standing on his toes, seemingly gliding on the floor, & those observant would notice water flying out from beneath his toes, although it did not leave behind a puddle & instead vanished. Whatever he was doing, Sekka seemed unconcerned about it, hardly giving this bizarre mode of transportation a glance.

After a few seconds of travel, the duo would arrive in the elevator, D'aillisioux taking a position as far as possible from Vonstein while making sure that there was a small gap between himself & everyone else. If someone did bump into him, he would gasp & seem to freeze up for a few seconds with a fearful expression, or stay in such a state if the physical contact was continuous — clearly, elevators were not for him, considering his skittish nature & haphephobia. If contact persisted for perhaps around a half minute, whoever was touching him would suddenly feel as though an invisible wall made of butterfly wing chitin appeared between them & D'aillisioux, this wall probably being inadvertently summoned by him so that he would stop being touched. On the other hand, Sekka was at the back of the elevator, making sure to leave a bit of space between himself & Dr. Cavalier if they were both unlucky enough to end up near each other. The others present seemed less hostile towards him than the doctor, so he did not worry too much about their presences.
