I refer to your letter of 23 November 2017 in support of a motion calling for a Parliamentary Confirmation into agreement of embassy exchange between Laeral and the nineteen countries of the Yohannesian continent. I am also responding on behalf of the Rt Hon Chancellor Annabelle Thorndon-Stevensonn and the Rt Hon First Lord of the Advisory Council Hilda Von und Zu Hartjenstein to whom you also wrote on the matter.

“...including exports of Laeralian goods such as fine textiles, electronic equipment, and cultural goods, as well as serving to facilitate the activities of Laeralian tourists in your nation.”

On 25 September 2017 I wrote to you advising that Alleswerken AG research has shown that as currently described, the scope of two-way trade between Laeral and Yohannes encompasses a diverse range of products and services, and highlighted for you to know more specifically the following as central to that thriving trade: (i) financial products (civilian), (ii) chemical products and material engineering sub components (military), and (iii) Precious metal (civilian and military).

On 27 September 2017 and 1 October 2017 I sent further emails to express my approval to seeing more presence of (i) fine textiles, (ii) electronic equipment, and (iii) cultural goods from the Allied Provinces in the continent of Yohannes. On 7 October 2017 — the date the Office of the First Lord of the Advisory Council was obliged to respond to your petition — I again expressed my approval to seeing more of the specified goods be added to Laeral’s two-way trade with the nineteen countries.

As of the date of this letter civil servants of the quangos have worked hard to ensure all proceed as planned.

I would like to acknowledge the strength that you have shown, and are showing, in realising the principles of democracy and equal rights for all before the law. Your governing principles align well with the fourth introductory principle of the Rule of Law of our nation state. That is why I am committed to realising this embassy exchange agreement, and to cooperating with your government re: Laeralite goods.

Following on the discussion and meeting held by our respective diplomats behind the scene over the last few weeks, I would like to clarify that parliament did finally issue their final assent on 7 December 2017, Parliamentary Motions — Foreign Nation State Issues: Allied Provinces of Laeral Diplomatic Mission, which produced a number of stipulations. I am pleased to say that the Executive Council has now responded to those stipulations. A copy of the Executive Council’s response and parliament’s final assent and report of stipulations in their entirety will be published on the Collegian and Parliamentary Hansard website shortly.

Parliament has also received, with good faith, the letter of credence for your Ambassador; a good and charitable accreditation to officiate His Excellency Mr Emmanuel Liu as your Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. I would like to clarify that the Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council do acknowledge the international principle of the sanctity of diplomats, in accordance with General Assembly Resolution # 22: Diplomat Protection Act. My office will advise on, and provide for Mr Liu, the resources that he will require for the additional learning and understanding of the Unity Law.

First off, I must provide personal and sincere apologies about the timing of the Bureau's reply. Due to a intentional major policy shift and the unfortunate early retirement of the Council-Secretary, Mr Gaspar, the Bureau is current being reorganised which has, briefly, reduced our efficiency. We, at the Bureau, were delighted to learn of the decision reached by the Yohannesian Parliament on the 11th May and look forward to receiving Ms Frieda Rosenstock as the Ambassador of the Nineteen Countries as soon as possible. The President asked me to also thank the Yohannsian government for what he describe as "a solid show of support for our new, intentional foreign policy initiative that only bodes well as we enter a new era in diplomatic relations." Between you and I, I thought he was going to cry. I can't blame him, it's been an emotional past few days at the Bureau.

Fortunately the Commisao Popular issued no motion of adjudication against the appointment of an ambassador to Yohannes and thus we are pleased to announce the assignment of Doctor Rios Norberto Krisna as the official representative of the Federal Government to the nineteen countries. You will find attached information on Doctor Krisna along with details of the nature of the diplomatic mission to the nineteen countries. Some of us here at the Bureau would like to personally assure the Yohannesian government of his professional and to-the-point attitude to diplomacy.

Finally in the case of Yohannsian participation in Totzka's economy, the Directors of the Council of National Resources (Section 7) and the Executive of Labour and Citizen's Affairs (Section 8 ) along with leading members of Totzkan industry have agreed to discuss the establishment for friendly and productive environment in which trade and industry between our two nation's can flourish.

We look forward to the arrival of Ms Rosenstock and continuing these productive discussions with Yohannes.

I am also responding on behalf of the Rt Hon Chancellor Annabelle Thorndon-Stevensonn and the Rt Hon First Lord of the Advisory Council Hilda Von und Zu Hartjenstein to whom you also wrote on the matter.

I would like to begin by acknowledging the strength that you have shown, and are showing, in furthering the economic and social well-being of your people. Your governing principles align well with the eighth introductory principle of Economy and Industry of our nation state. That is why I am committed to realising this embassy exchange agreement.

Following on the discussion and meeting held by our respective diplomats behind the scene over the last few weeks, I would like to clarify that parliament did finally issue their final assent on 11 December 2017, Parliamentary Motions — Foreign Nation State Issues: Republic of Petroburgh Diplomatic Mission, which produced a number of stipulations. I am pleased to say that the Executive Council has now responded to those stipulations. A copy of the Executive Council’s response and parliament’s final assent and report of stipulations in their entirety will be published on the Collegian and Parliamentary Hansard website shortly.

Parliament has also received, with good faith, the letter of credence presented to officiate His Excellency Mr Erik Joergensen as your Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. I would like to clarify that the Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council do acknowledge the international principle of diplomatic sanctity, in accordance with the General Assembly resolution Diplomat Protection Act. My office will advise on, and provide for Mr Joergensen, the resources that he will require for the additional learning and understanding of the Unity Law.

As I am sure you are aware, the Office of Embassy and Consulate Programme is truly committed to helping members of diplomatic missions of our embassy and consulate exchange partner governments. It is important that we celebrate diversity in international affairs. The requirement for Ministerial approval for the existence of armed diplomatic missions was delegated personally to the Office of the Chancellor of the Nineteen Countries eight years ago.

As of 5 January 2018, it is the Chancellor’s view that your application for special exemption met that criteria for exemption on the grounds of diversity of international governing types and nation state background.

Dear Minister Fiorenzzo Barteli,

I refer to your letter of 30 January 2017 in support of a motion calling for a Parliamentary Confirmation into agreement of embassy exchange between Mervay and the nineteen countries of the Yohannesian continent. I am also responding on behalf of the Rt Hon Chancellor Annabelle Thorndon-Stevensonn and the Rt Hon First Lord of the Advisory Council Hilda Von und Zu Hartjenstein to whom you also wrote on the matter.

As I am sure you are aware, the Office of Embassy and Consulate Programme is truly committed to helping exchange partners of our embassy and consulate programme. We celebrate the diversity and multicultural contributions that our embassy and consulate exchange members bring to the local communities. As regards the choice of the location which a permanent mission may request, I see no problem with your request and will make the proper arrangements to have the Embassy of the Kingdom of Mervay be located in the Vilmar Diplomatic District.

I would like to begin by acknowledging the strength that you have shown, and are showing, in realising the principles of democracy and equal rights for all before the law. Your governing principles align well with the fourth introductory principle of the Rule of Law of our nation state. That is why I am committed to realising this embassy exchange agreement.

Following on the discussion and meeting held by our respective diplomats behind the scene over the last few weeks, I would like to clarify that parliament did finally issue their final assent on 27 February 2017, Parliamentary Motions — Foreign Nation State Issues: Kingdom of Mervay Diplomatic Mission, which produced a number of stipulations. I am pleased to say that the Executive Council has now responded to those stipulations. A copy of the Executive Council’s response and parliament’s final assent and report of stipulations in their entirety will be published on the Electoral Debates Hansard website shortly.

Parliament has also received, with good faith, the letter of credence presented to officiate Her Excellency Lorena Bartelone as your Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. I would like to clarify that the Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council do acknowledge the international principle of the sanctity of diplomats, in accordance with General Assembly Resolution # 22: Diplomat Protection Act. My office will advise on, and provide for Ms Bartelone the resources that she will require for the additional learning and understanding of the Unity Law.

The Office of Embassy and Consulate Establishment will shortly deliver your diplomatic immunity missives, which can be used immediately by Ms Bartelone upon her arrival.
