First Lieutenant Macon was riding in a converted Ford F-150 to the site of the battle. She was not happy. She made a mistake in training, causing an accidental shooting and got herself placed in command of a platoon, rather than the whole battalion. Captain Roland Victor had took her place as commander. He had commanded a platoon in Nigeria when Boko Haram attacked. He was credited with saving all the men in the platoon. Now the army wanted him to save the KDF.

The battalion, moved to the KDF front lines, and took shelter in buildings where they could see the enemy. They had learned much from Mosul. When a Jaysh al-Islam soldier was spotted, they shot. The tank division moved in, and opened fire on their rear. The goal was to split the lines in two, allowing a pincer movement against Jaysh al-Islam.

Far away of the conflict the city of Tokyo was still having the peaceful yet moved day that always chacterize the city,however many people still were thinking that the nation involment in Khataiy was the enough for now and that all efforts must now concetrate in the south in where the real fight was happening.

After long weeks of travel the Fleet was finally in Khataiy and the first mission they will have is to land in Suwadiya and give aid to the population and see if non human rights violations happened there. The fleet was composed of 2 Destroyers (MRNS Koko and MRNS Akizuki),1 Frigate (MRNS Asahi),1 Hospital ship (MRNS Hope) and 1 Helicopter Carrier that was transporting the supplies,the ground troops and equipment and the helicopters for the aid mission (MRNS Hyuga).

I have to inform you that Underguard Taha Mansoor was killed in action when his convoy was attacked, but according to the unit he was with and some JNA Marines that were with him during the attack they say his actions and decisions during the attack saved a lot lives and there was a JACT Marshal there named Asra Abbas I want to put her up for a promotion as well I was thinking Sergeant-Major because the other guards and JNA Marines stated that it was her who ordered the retreat and kept everyone there calm and in fighting shape.

So then it's offical well it's been offical from the first day you signed up now we can openly acknowladge it Commodore Shukri Qamar, now you can give those promotions.

After Commodore Shukri Qamar hung up the phone he announced his new position as Commodore within JACT over the FOB's PA system while also saying that there will be promotions for Marshal Asra Abbas and one posthumonistly for Underguard Taha Mansoor for their actions during the Convoy attack. After the announcment many JACT Guards in the base commended Marshal Asra Abbas on the feat.

Commodore Shukri Qamar also started thinking about the speech that HPAG Agent Jacob Ventankourt had given to the Guards and HPAG soldiers before they headed out to support the other HPAG soldiers in the field already which is when he saw the HPAG helicopter returning and overhearing the incoming radio transmission about needing Medical support when they landed. Which prompted him to get on the radio and order the EMTs to the helipad which they got into small on base ambulance and headed that way and waited for the helicopter to land and as soon as it did the EMTs loaded Gabe Shilek and the other injured on to the base ambulance and took them to the approprate medical buildings most went to the major care building, but Gabe Shilek had to be taken to the Critical care building for treatment. Commodore Qamar ordered the rest of the JACT Guards and HPAG Soldiers to board the Helicopter quickly which that did and as soon as it was full the helicopter took off and headed back to the location of the operation.

Commodore Qamar then went to the Critical Care Building to check on Gabe Shilek which the doctors there said that they will do everything that they can for him and that they will keep Commodore Qamar informed of there progress.

Commodore Qamar was a little uneasy about not hearing from the transport helicopter he sent out days earlier, but he knew that the men and women on board could handle themselves in a firefight if the transport went down though it was unlikely as the transport was directed to take a safe route it was a long route but it was safe for air travel from all scout reports. Commodore Qamar needed to send out more JACT Convoys but was tired of waiting to find out if the mercenaries were still in the mountains so he gathered a squad of 8 JACT Guards and ordered them to go into the mountains and search for the mercenaries.

The 8 JACT Guardsmen went out into the mountains and searched for the mercenaries the guards had radios and enough food and equipment to last them for seven days as well as some reserve equipment in case of a firefight with the mercenaries. The Guardsmen hiked for days reaching what could be deduced as a campsite from investigating it, but it was abandoned to which they radioed back to base to inform Commodore Qamar that the mercenaries have left and in a hurry as it appeared to them but they couldn't be sure so they gathered up some papers that were left behind they didn't seem important but they weren't going to take any chances with leaving them there so they gathered all of the papers and brought them back to the Medical FOB which took them days to get back to the FOB.

Commodore Qamar then had one of the JACT Guards look through the papers throwing out anything that was worthless to finding out who had hired them, the JACT Guard would continue to go through the papers but it would take days to go through all of them.

She had only graduated from college last year and had immediatly joined the International Foreign Aid Development organization (IFAD) and when the Khataiy displacement crisis erupted she volunteered to be deployed to Khataiy, now she was finally in the city of Rayhaniya helping those in need. She despised the Government of Khataiy for there actions and was even more disgusted by her own Government for supporting Khairallah and his vile rule. She was with 4 other IFAD members who had all flown into the Khataiy the same time as her. Before the assault on Rayhaniya, the KDF had been gracious hosts who respected the aid workers and the citizen's human rights. Now the team was holed up in a mosque were they provided UNIMIX (a maize type substance for malnourished people), cooking ingredients, bread, and other types of easy to prepare foods along with medical supplies. Jennifer was truly afraid of the radical groups moving in on the city. She had no desire to be captured by radical terrorists yet she wondered if captured by the Government would, in fact, be worse. She then made a call to the director of the IFAD Khataiy response group. She reported on the situation and recommended that they have an exfiltration plan should the KDF are pushed out of the city, an exfil would have to be performed by IFAD because the Grater Tovakian Government had denied responsibility for the aid groups working in Khataiy with government opposed forces.

He brought down the periscope his curiosity had caused him to keep the scope up for 15 seconds rather than the usual 5. They played back the feed and saw the short message, "change to Marine VHF 07A" the captain sighed and then ordered his sub to the surface, put up his comm mast and changed to 07A. The other sub followed suit. The Captain of the first Victor replied to the Mervay fleet's message. We are a pack of 2 Victor III submarines of the Grater Tovakian Navy we do not mean to enact hostilities, as for you third contact we have had no indication of another sub in our waters. We are supporting the Khataiy blockade we politely ask you postpone your aid work until the city is under the control of the Arab State of Khataiy. At that, the two victors descended back into the depths and headed back towards the blockade. Once there they passed a message onto the commander of the Mediterranean subgroup he received the message and gave his subs in the harbor the order they had been prepping for since the start of the civil war. The 5 Severodvinsk class submarines and 4 Akula III class subs all departed for the waters off of Suwadiya. The last message they had before departing was from the commander "Gentleman should hostilities commence which I hope they won't...But should they I have one message for you...GOOD HUNTING!" with that the sailors on the subs cheered as they began there journey. The Trap was ready to close.

Latakia Governorate, Syria

Pro-Assad militias near the rebel held area

The various militias assembled in Latakia and made way northeast towards the rebels front lines. No orders were given to engage as they were waiting to negotiate with the opposition before military action was taken. The convoys left from different parts of Syria like Homs, Ghouta, and Hama while militias already in Latakia simply waited. The convoys had buses, large trucks, tanks, humvees and other APCs. The Iraqi Shia militias brought humvees with them from Iraq where the US supplied them to the new Iraqi Government that supplied them to various pro-Iran militias such as those in the Popular Mobilization Forces and they handed them off to their allies in Syria or simply brought them across the border.

The Shia militiamen wore Red, Green and Black headbands "Ya Hussein" written on them while their uniforms were either black or MARPAT woodland camo. Their arm patches consisted of different variants of Hezbollah's logo some included outlines of Iraq or Iraqi flags. The other militias wore similar uniforms except used different logos and flags. As everyone arrived camp was set up in the mountainous woodlands of the Latakia region, it was slightly drizzling and though it was late May it was a bit chilly and windy, with the temperature ranging from the mid 60s to low 70s.

As Assad's forces began moving towards the rebel held areas the rebels mobilized as well. The forces of the Free Syrian Army, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Ajnad al-Kavkaz, Ahrar al-Sham and many others moved to the frontier with Assad. The rebel leaders debated whether or not to give in to Assad or to fight, on one hand they had a new enemy on a new front that demanded more attention at the moment while on the other they were giving in to Assad losing a potentially strategic point in Latakia that served as a buffer between Idlib and Latakia. The rebels were slighty stretched and now they were at risk of fighting on two fronts.

A battle bound to be lost for some worthless land, the only value it served was that it served as a buffer, in the end it was determined a fight would go down, so those who died fighting for this land would not go in vain.

As many foreign nations began deploying their navies to Khataiy, Khataiy's own navy has been standing by idly but that was over, 2 frigates blockading Suwadiya were relocated to watch foreign ships and show the Government wasn't ignoring or ignorant of the situation out at sea. The Government never viewed the navy as important as the Army or Air force but still maintains a fleet for a situation just like this, the frigates sent to monitor the foreign ships are both armed with Otomat anti-ship missiles ready to strike hostile naval forces. The ships proudly waved the flag of Khataiy from the top of the bridge, Khataiy's ships approached the ships from Artheria and Afreena in response to their belligerent actions in killing civilians from Khataiy, the navy was ordered not to strike first but intimidate and show that Khataiy would not be pushed around.

With the failed offensive south and losing the highway battle, as well as the the bombardment from the Government a strategy was to be tried, attacking East to capture the surrounding Alawite, Alevi, Ismaili, Normal Shiite, as well as some Sunni and Christian villages and rural communities in the countryside of the Suwadiya Governorate. The fighters gathered all they could all their ammunition, trucks, and men in preparation to attack Government forces, the military from Huguenoxe, and the JACT medical teams. Many of the Governments forces had withdrawn to the Syrian border region to monitor Assad's movements, while the forces from Huguenoxe had just arrived to replace them. The offensive began with several ambushes and raids inspired by the Houthi's tactics in Yemen after raiding Government positions equipment was seized and the equipment that wasn't needed was burned and rendered unusable for anyone. Soon after attacking Government checkpoints outside the city, plans were made to make way to the JACT camps and Huguenoxe positions. After reaching a hilltop and discovering a Huguenoxe position the attack began with RPGs being fired at their men then snipers and technicals began firing down on them followed by riflemen and LMG gunners firing in random directions, hardly even aiming. Another group went to the JACT camps with technicals firing on JACT mercenaries while RPGs provided cover and served to distract and instill fear in their men, 2 villages were captured from the Government one of which was Ismaili and the other consisted of normal Shiites many in the village supported them, when the village of al-Jubur fell to Ashura companies the police station was attacked while the small number of Government forces stationed there were ordered to by Antakya to simply leave their weapons and just go to the nearest friendly held area, as part of the strategy of letting the enemy feel like they're wining while their destruction was already planned, the Shiite insurgents burned the police station while the police were all taken prisoner back to Suwadiya.

The battle had approached its fifth day and KDF was barely holding on being surrounded and reinforcements were not able to arrive as the Syrian rebels would have easily repelled them. Jaysh al-Islam and many FSA groups have already taken most of the northern half of the city while HTS took the southern half and was still battling with KDF in the center of the city, while Ansar al-Haqq occupied the eastern portion of the city. Supplies from Mervay had landed in the city a few days ago and gave KDF some more food but food wouldn't ward off a large fighting force. While HTS and the FSA both closed in on the city's center they both racing to defeat KDF first, especially Jaysh al-Islam they had to compensate for their devastating defeat in East Ghouta, and though they cooperated with HTS here and in the in the desperate battles in the Greater Damascus region like East Ghouta and the Yarmouk Camp. Jaysh al-Islam does not trust or like HTS at all and neither do their financiers in Riyadh, HTS is a major liability for the Syrian rebels being seen as an al-Qaeda affiliate even though officially renouncing them and claiming to be independent. While the Saudis were no fans of HTS, Qatar is their major backer and the deteriorating relationship between the two reflected it on the ground in a three-way proxy war between the Saudis, Iranians, and Qataris. Khataiy's government doesn't particularly care who wipes out KDF just as long as they are gone and the people fighting them don't turn their guns on the Government everything would be fine, Khataiy also has good relations with both the Saudis and Qataris remaining neutral in their dispute and supporting the Syrian opposition against Assad, and so far the situation in the Kurdish region was working out well as no rebel group or their backers have any problem with Khataiy's government.

KDF's fighters were about to surrender as the Syrian rebels were closing in, many had already and Jaysh al-Islam having to prove itself as a brutal fighting forces executed all those who surrendered with various methods from beheadings, to shotguns, to setting off grenades in their mouths. This was done to prove to KDF that they were a serious fighting group and also a message to HTS not to cross them in anyway and also to show their financiers that they harsh and not soft as their recent surrenders in Syria made them look weak and like they were becoming soft on their enemies. However fighters who surrendered to HTS for the most part were executed it was not as brutal as it was simply just shooting them, many were kept alive for questioning and to use as ransom later on, after hours of fighting in the night the KDF surrendered to HTS and the city was divided between the FSA and HTS, what was going to happen from here was uncertain whether they could tolerate one another, or if Jaysh al-Islam would claim what they felt was now theirs as they invested the most in the fight to make up for East Ghouta, or perhaps the Saudis would give an order to have HTS purged from expanding in territory and influence, or perhaps Qatar could not afford to have the Saudis have new ground in Khataiy, who's Government has sought exile in their country, perhaps for Qatar this would be the best opportunity to fully sway Khairallah by having HTS as an ally of the Government, only time will tell what is to happen next.

Mediterranean, Off the coast of Kurk Murzban

While the Commander for the Mediterranean Fleet Admiral Catherine Delacroix was still in the High Council's halls many thousands of kilometres away in Freilibre, Commodore François Fabron, the commanding officer and captain of the 77th Fleet was onboard the FCS Freudenberger, an Alekzander-Class Destroyer. He was stationed there to strike enemy territories and artillery to suppress any threat to the air force. However, it was clear that most of the missile strikes against Waseem's rebels could be operated by just the capable air force alone. Having an additional force in the seas was a good counter measure if Waseem's men managed to get hold of more anti-tank artillery, but as of now it seemed like a waste of resources. Nevertheless despite his indifference, the Commodore continued to strike a multitude of positions, and continuously held off enemy fire that threatened the UN peacekeepers and K-22s. It was about the start of a new day; the red sun started its routine ascent towards the sky. He was in the orange-tinted bridge, still sipping his early morning coffee, when François had received a high-security video call. It was the High Council, and Admiral Delacroix was seen, glaring at the camera.

"Commodore François."

"Admiral Delacroix!" He immediately saluted in response, "Ma'am"

"Send the FCS King Philip, FCS Margret IXX, FCS Freudenberger, and FCS Roeland further into the coastline, provide support and logistics to government fleets."

"T-The... the government, ma'am?"

"Affirmative. The 77th Fleet must act as a buffer zone to prevent any navies from intruding Khataiy seas."

"Er-- yes m'am, the fleet will be mobilized ASAP."

"Thank you. Once there, please halt any action until the High Council messages you once more."

And so, without any prior plans, the majority of the 77th Mediterranean fleet separated from the FCS Ermingard's escort, and headed deeper into the coast. It was a few minutes in when they finally reached the situation. There was a large amount of foreign presence, especially from the United Artherian Federation and Afreena. Once there, they kept their positions and received a message. Within a few minutes, they finally broadcasted one of their own messages to every frequency. In it, a French, masculine voice interrupts the radios of nearby ships, including that of the Khataiy ships. The message goes as follows:

All belligerents that cross Khataiy sea will be shot on sight. Any airstrikes upon Her Majesty's Navies will not be tolerated, any airstrikes that continue from the United Artherian Federation will not be tolerated, any continued bombardment of civilian cities will not be tolerated-- All foreign activity;... Repeats

Then, much of the crew waved at the Khataiy frigates, and displayed a flag of Freilibre with the peace symbol plastered on top of it, replacing the orange shield and cross.

While there was regular commotion of a normal, operating business tower, the total opposite was occurring far above the city streets. It was the start of the day, in a warmly lit, peaceful room. High above the city, it was stiff in motion. The dust settled as a neon-blue projector started lighting up the room. Shadows hid the faces and identities of the people who stood and sat in the meeting room; many figures could be seen, some distinctly feminine, others more masculine and bulky, while others couldn't be distinguished at all. They all surrounded an oval-shaped glass table, and in the front laid a presenter who duly points at the moving pictures as the slideshow plays.

"Ladies and gentlemen, as you are aware, a total meeting with all directorates from all regions is something of occurrence now that Vraxuis has started Operation Erebus in conjunction with the High Council." A deeply distinct Russian voice perturbed the silence, "In short, Vraxuis will be spearheading a diplomatic discussion between the delegation and embassy staff in Doha, Qatar, to meet with the exiled Khataiy government. This is a critical step in rebuilding a potential ally in the world. However, it must be tamed; their government cannot turn into political turmoil because of some idiotic economic plan again."

A feminine voice, one with high caliber and yet with some foreign, unknown accent replied; her voice sounded ancient yet mysterious, and she rolled her r's, "Without sounding too redundant, how on Earth can a responsible, EU headed country possibly coordinate with a middle eastern racist government?!" She continued, "If it is a critical ally, what do we as shareholders get out of it? Some dirt and refugees, that's what! Ede faecam!"

"Mrs. Xanthe," a rough, masculine-British voice then elevates the tension, "You are aware that we must keep profanity to a minimum, even in dire circumstances-" "Paenitemus meum-- My apologies, director." "Bonum. Now, please continue."

And so the Russian voice from earlier continued, "While we have assets in Syria, such weapons have been stored for such a time that they have been already completely banned in the international community. Notably chemicals and other illegal weapons. Syria may have been supplied by these, but we are unaware of the exact condition that the factory which stores them is in. At night in the Mountains

It's dark and cold. The Mercenaries, who are still there, have been encamped in a cave for a couple of weeks now. The Afreenan President did not care much about the Mercenaries, there has been no Contact since they started the Mission. Now, the Mercenaries have decided to be active once again.

They are packing their things and sending out strike groups.

The Plan is to Ambush the Armed Guards in the Mountains.

They track them down and would then begin to strike them out of nowhere.

Everyone, including the President, has been shocked about the recent defeat of KDF Forces in Rayhaniya. The President himself, he didnt gave many Orders. He told his Generals to "continue with the Missions".

Dust arose from the ground as the helicopter blades continued spinning. The Combat Specialists posed in a natural but demanding respect stance. They were special forces after all. There were two helicopters, both of them holding ten men, ready for battle. And up above, one Boeing-Sikorsky
RAH-66 Comanche and one Boeing AH-64 Apache were circling around ready to decimate the HTS caravan if things went south.

One of the Combat Specialists walked up to the HTS fighters who had taken the pilot out of a van with two suitcases. Each holding 2.5 million Euros. He was also unarmed, so show a sign of peace and willingness to cooperate. Both sides knew what they wanted and they wanted to get this exchange over with as soon as possible. The HTS gave over the pilot, who had a blindfold over his eyes, much to some of the Combat Specialists surprise the pilot was unharmed. Besides the injuries that he sustained from the crash. Once the pilot was in the Combat Specialists hands he gave him to the helicopter closest to him. And then doing the iconic signal of pointing his index finger out then twirling it around in a circular motion to give the a-okay for liftoff. And with that, the transaction was over.

A large C-17 arrives back from Idlib, Syria. Out of it came 20 people, they were soldiers for the Land Occupation Force. They had returned from the deal that the Huntpublican Government and the HTS had set up. Huntpublic will give 5 million Euros in order to get back a pilot who was captured from a crashed V-22 Osprey a few days ago. In addition to paying the money, Huntpublic has agreed to launch an investigation on the Khataiyan Democratic Forces and suspend support until more information has been received.

"As of Friday, May 25 we have made a deal with some of the HTS forces in order to get our captured pilot back. He has been treated fairly well, the HTS had held up their end of the bargain and so will we. And addition to the deal, we have agreed to suspend support for the KDF and launch an international investigation in order to figure out if they have ties to the communist party," As our Leader, Umbaku II says in response to a reporter asking what and how did we get the pilot back.

The Captain like the rest of the fleet crew was hoping that no incidents will happen in Kurt Muzban however once they are close to the city they see that is blockaded by NATO forces more Exactly the Freilibre and Turkish forces. "Yes, there is an ongoing civil war in Khataiy. I will be sending you and your company into the city of Akbez in northern Khataiy to defend it from the rebel groups. You will be shipping out at 16:00 Caucasus Time, May 26. You are dismissed" The Colonel states.

The Major replies "Yes, sir."

The Major promptly leaves the room and gathers his soldiers.

Government forces encountering Ashura Companies (play this in the background for effect)

As Ashura Companies seized the villages east of the city, they turned their offensive north expecting the Government to withdraw after some clashes however this was not the case. As the fighters of Ashura companies fought they shouted "Death to Khairallah! Death to Israel! Death to Trump!" Though Government forces were better trained and had experience being deployed to Yemen and Libya, Ashura Companies had passionate fighters, the fighters took over a Shiite Mosque in the city and surrounding buildings while government forces encircles them, then they ambushed the Government force from behind with technicals gunning down pro-Government soldiers, after that Government soldiers began to fall back but not fully withdraw, from a position inside a cafe the soldiers called in a helicopter to fire missiles into the area, after several minuets Mil Mi-24 helicopters came in flying low the copping of the propellers was loud and kicked up dust and everything on the streets, then missiles fired repeadtly at the technicals and into the minaret and dome of the Mosque, however an Ashura Companies technical was able to damage a government helicopter as it flew low to the ground.

After the Government's helicopter bombarded the area of the few blocks around the Mosque the soldiers began to push back, taking cover in buildings such as cafes, stores, and offices. By the end of the day the attack on Tell al-Sayyid a mixed Sunni-Shia town was repelled by the Government, however no plans were being made to launch a counter offensive to retake the other villages lost. Ashura Companies published a video online about their recent gains and captured equipment and police.

As the fighters captured the KDF held city a large parade was held of the combined fighting forces from Syria and Ansar al-Haqq who came together under the coalition they called "The Shields of Sham Council" this would be combined operations room in Khataiy for the Syrian opposition operating there. The aims of the Shields of Sham Council is to prevent infighting and maintain a unified front against KDF and other forces in Khataiy that pose a threat to the Syrian rebels, the coalition was announced on the last day of the battle yesterday for future operations against KDF, however it was no secret that HTS formed the largest group in the Coalition and would likely use its position to infleunce other groups or even absorb them.

As the fighters walked through the streets they chanted "Allahu Akbar!" and the event was filmed, with a nasheed played in the background, the fate of the Coalition was uncertain as the city itself was divided between HTS and the FSA into north and south and several villages were held by both groups and divided among themselves, on one end of the city the Flag of the Free Syrian Army flew high with some black or white Islamic flags while on the other end the black and white flags of HTS and Ansar al-Haqq were the only flags that flew high. HTS even asked residents not to fly FSA flags or KDF flags. Plans were also being drawn up for administration of the city post-Government and post-KDF, the leadership of the various groups discussed how Rayhaniya would be governed.

While a majority of the city was not fond of KDF they were concerned about the Syrian conflict coming into Khataiy and the actions of Jaysh al-Islam made many uncomfortable with the FSA and Jaysh al-Islam, while others worried about Rayhaniya becoming strictly run Sharia city under HTS, some supported the FSA and welcomed them others felt the same for HTS.

The Kurdistan Regional Government and Democratic Federation of Northern Syria regarding the loss of Reyhanliyê

The KRG ministry of Foreign Affairs in solidarity and cooperation with The Democratic Federation of Northern Syria (DFNS/Rojava) condemns in the strongest terms the Terrorist take over of the city of Reyhanliyê from the Kurdish self-defense forces of the KDF. It is more than clear Khataiy is not interested in combating terrorism or protecting minorities but rather the opposite in supporting al-Qaeda and ISIS affiliated terrorists in their ethnic cleansing campaign against Kurdish people.

Senior officials of both the KRG and the DFNS/Rojava present the following to the international community regarding combating extremism and the dictatorship of Khataiy:
1. A nationwide no-fly zone
2. The resignation of Omar Khairallah and the disbandment of the Arab Socialist Vanguard Baath Party of Khataiy and trials for all crimes against humanity committed
3. The total withdrawal of all foreign armies in replacement with a UN sponsored multi-national force as well as allowing Peshmerga and the Syrian Democratic Forces into the so called "Kurdish Region" of Khataiy to provide assistance to the Khataiy Democratic Forces against all terrorist organizations active and threatening the civilians of the country
4. The establishment of a Democratic Transitional Federative government in Khataiy monitored by the international community.

The representatives of the KRG and DFNS/Rojava continue to welcome the international support against terrorism and the authoritarianism of Khairallah, we hope to see a future of de-conlifiction of all forces and the start of political dialogue, we do not mean threats or baseless accusations such as a supposed connection to Communist terrorist networks like the PKK, PYD, or RFL.. Over Khataiy. Inside of a CH-47

The CH-47 flies over a hilly landscape mixed with forest, brush, and desert. Along with the Chinook, a V-22 Osprey carries the undercovered armored van. After a few more hours of flight, the two aircraft reached the outskirts of Rayhaniay. Smoke rises from the battle-ridden city. There was no current fighting from the forces. There were many destroyed buildings in the crowded city. Where to start? thought Ashley. The two aircraft lands outside of the city.

The IIA Agents and Officers leave the Chinook fully equipped with Kevlar-body armor and Military-issued Rifles. They weren't here to fight but to investigate the KDF and see if they indeed have ties to the Communists. Once they have exited the helicopters/VTOLs the IIA Officers entered their armored ten-seater van. And drove into the city. When they entered the city they saw a parade of victory, but it wasn't the KDF, it was the HTS-FSA forces. They assumed that the HTS had at least some prisoners. They intended on interrogating the prisoners to get as much information about the KDF.

Ashley had found an HTS leader and asked for access to any prisoners. They were able to access the KDF prisoners and interrogate them for information about the history of the KDF.

M113 APC's destroyed by the Ashura Battalions

The attack on the Huguenot forces in Tel al-Sayid had been expected and was not a new experience for the Huguenot troops who had fought in other countries against insurgencies, however the Ashura Battalions proved to be a formidable force managing to disable the M113 convoy, making many of the troops sitting ducks, many were picked off trying to leave the burning APCs.

Huguenot troops stationed on top of buildings however had better cover against the Ashura Battalions, using their rooftop positions as designated marksmen spots they were able to use the G3 battle rifles almost as sniper rifles against Shia militiamen on the ground. Lead was flying everywhere however the situation was just beginning and no body knew what would happen next although the Huguenot troops were already on a bad start losing 80 something men already.

In one of the many abandoned buildings being used by the Huguenot troops as a base...

Captain Pierre walked into a room where several of his men were sitting smoking cigarettes and listening over the communications radio. "Sir things are going bad, we lost contact with Colonel Jean." the Captain said "This is bad, they are already closing in on us." a sorrow fell on him as he had done so much wrong his whole life he was thinking how he deserved to go to hell and who would save him from this fate?

He walked in an empty room, leaving the command area, he got on his knees and prayed "Lord Jesus, I know you died on the cross for my sins and were raised up to give me eternal life. The commodore glanced out into the sea, and moved back to the radar every now and then. "We need to contact the High Council immediately. Something's not right. We support the NC right?"

"No, sir... Apparently not anymore."

"Well, they're not taking no for an answer. We just need to delay them in order to get High Council's approval, along with NATO."

A call suddenly interrupts their conversation, and the Commodore quickly sprints towards the situation room a few decks below the bridge. There, a skype call was started in a frenzy.

"High Council," François, still out of breath, salutes and quickly reiterates his concerns, "Mervay.... ships, sirs and madams. They're requesting to enter Kurk Murzban for aid, apparently. Should we let them in?"

Immediately, one of the generals stands up to attention, "Absolutely not. We need to quell any rebels near the Turkish border, they'll be at our throats about it!"

"But, General, they're not taking no for an answer. We can't afford this situation."

"Commodore, I understand your concerns. But we cannot let Mervay in, we--" he pauses in thought, "We have intelligence suggesting that they're supplying the National Coalition and General Waseem. And the Kurdistans want us out as soon as possible, so that's also not going to happen unless we stop the NC."

"Did we not support the NC in the past? And I thought the Kurdistan Regional Government hated the government of Khataiy?"

Far Reach Outpost 1 Khataiy, West of Kurk Murzban

While the situation in the sea was harry, the opposite was happening in the occupied territory. Freilibran Peacekeepers were still employed as border patrol, and continuously repelled Waseem's rebels. However, the damage was mounting. Brigadier Éric Desrosiers had never been at the heart of the battles, and was constantly in the situation rooms and mess halls. He was tired, stressed, and hungry for battle. He tried taking his mind off, but whenever he managed to find the right time for light reading, messages interrupted his leisure time.

This reflected upon most of the soldiers at the base, but nevertheless they were still on duty, and strived to keep morale up. Still, anything was better than being stationed at a boring, uneventful base.

The police crowded and secured the resort, and escorted the last remaining guests out, who were relocated to a sister hotel a few kilometres away. Black SUVs similar to that of Khairallah's rolled by, only there were flags of Freilibre on the trunk, and insignia plastered on the side doors. Somehow they did book the entire resort off, and there was a buffet awaiting them. Vraxuis security staff then suddenly escorted the Doha Capital Police away from the dinning hall, leaving only Vraxuis security detail.

"Apologies for that, we're clearing the room away in case any of them hear these talks."

The Prime Minister interrupted, "Wait, why are they escorting the police out? I thought you people were supposed to be a 'neutral' body who's hosting this meeting?"

It seemed that Vraxuis had somehow gotten to talk with the president before the delegation from Freilibre could. The delegation, meanwhile, was busy being distracted from the food.

The Fleet was waiting the answer of the Freilibre Fleet for 40 minutes and during that time all defense systems were being revised to see if they were having ammo in case an battle breaks out. But then an response came and once the captain along with the rest of the naval officers of the fleet readed it they were now at least making advances however the Helicopters were being to be forced to stay in ground in order to evade that the Freilibrean or the Turkish fighters fire at them after that the fleet begun to make their route to the port of Kurt Muzban and the captain decided to send an response at the same time for thanks and to advice of the escorts.

Once again the entire parlament was discussing the Khataiy and the Prime Minister has brought the request to expand the deployment of troops and the why of expand the forces was the recent threat letter sent by the Afreena goverment of attack all MRF troops if the support to the FSA continues. Inside of it the debate was hot and all Reprsents of the Royal and Low Cameras were divided no matter for what party they were and in one moment of it when it was in their most hot point one represent for the Conservatives that was against the new deployment screams.
