The Valstis is appalled by these actions, as they only just narrowly blocked the missles. The President sends a secure message to Guangxi, Iona-Cartha, Prussia, Portugack, Kiyueitenz, and Saskovia.

"Leaders of the world, I would like to ask today if you would form a pact with us. This pact will be in response to the recent provocation by the E.F.M. and its allies. This pact would be called the Riga Coalition Against Terrorism (RCAT)."

They dispach their navy to help Prussia against the attacks by Nordur-Rikin.

Ionia accepts the alliance, further advancing in Italy. southern Italy (Naples) is annexed and the rest is puppeted. The EFM is given a chance for peace.

The allied forces would be overwhelming for EFM allies and there submarine fleet would be slowly crushed over time.

Almost simultaniously, there is a coup in the IRNR. A group of freedom fighters assassinate the government, turning the country to the Icelandic Republic of Nordur-Rikin (still IRNR). They reform pretty much everything. They then send aid (and join) RCAT.

The coup is supported by Ionia, Ionian and allied forces would immediately push back the S.M.S. fleets, destroying many ships. S.M.S. is told to either leave the war with reparations or face invasion.

In Europe, Ionian forces attempt to break through E.M.F. defensive lines with many casualties on both sides.

With the S.M.S. defeated, the Ionian fleet returns home, to join the blockade against E.E.F. controlled North Italy and Switzerland.

The Ionian forces on the ground have made little head-way. Casualties are high on both sides, but Ionia still has the numerical and technological advantage.
