The Free Kingdom of Allanea wishes to commend this decision by President Donald Trump to move the United States Embassy to Jerusalem. Jerusalem has been de-facto the capital of Israel for many years, and this movement is only recognizing this reality. That said, we have some concerns!

Our intelligence reports suggest that Tel Aviv, the traditional location for most embassies to Israel, is frankly a better location for an embassy. It of course possesses a beach (the US embassy in Tel Aviv faced the sea directly), a well-developed night life and more clubs and pubs than you can shake a stick at. More than 50% of the population of Israel live within an hour's drive of the site of the previous US embassy. Furthermore, Jerusalem faces significant security challenges, far more so than Tel Aviv (due to it being directly adjacent to Palestinian territory).

The Free Kingdom does not wish to insult the Jewish Nation, however we think workplace conditions and quality of life conditions for the Free Kingdom employees there are also important.

We would like to request, therefore, to open an Embassy in Jerusalem, (staffed with a limited diplomatic staff) and a Consulate in Tel Aviv, where most of our customer service staff will be employed. To what extent possible we will also rotate personnel between these two stations.

P.S. How do you plan to deal with the tendency of visitors to Jerusalem to go mad?

Not killed by - what I mean to say is, fifty of the deceased were members of Hamas, with less than peaceful intentions. And considering about 2 percent of Israelis are Christian, I would think the same can be said, yes.
