Nations of the Light is currently recruiting!
I am not going to try to sugar coat this... as I am neither good at, nor do I like advertising. I honestly think this stuff has gotten too formal and contrived over the years.
I made this region because I was tired of getting recruitment telegrams, and I didn't really want to get involved with other regions. However, its getting kinda lonely here, and I wouldn't mind having a few more people help me start up a community. I literally have no idea what I am doing as far as the theme or purpose of the region goes, and as such I am flexible on many issues. I'd start out by asking my friends to join, but well... I don't have any friends that play NationStates. The only friend I had hasn't been on since we started in high school 5 or so years ago.
I am looking for people whom I can become friends with, and who will be active in helping to start a buzzing little community. I just want a community on here that can make my experience a little more worth while, and have someone to share power with (the Delegate).
I am NOT interested in raiding, hence why I do not intend on relinquishing power in this region or whatever region I create in the future. I WILL allow the delegate to have executive power in my regions though, as it is a good way to encourage region participation.
I am NOT interested in joining other bigger regions, so don't bother posting advertisements in my comments. However I AM willing to establish embassies and hand out endorsements.
I AM willing to create a new region if those interested do not like the name of my current region, or propose alternatives to how the region should be run (though most of those options seem to be able to be tweaked even after a region has been estabilished).
Now, lets be honest here. I'm probably not gonna get any responses, nor am I likely to get people interested with this post. Hopefully however, some people will prove me wrong.

Going to establish a poll here. If you are interested, vote yes on the post, and I can invite you; or I can open my region to allow anyone to join (assuming it isn't already).
If you have any suggestions for how things should be set up, what the themes are, etc. then go ahead and put a post in here, commentary is welcome, but don't go trying to convince me to do otherwise... my mind is made up.
