Don't call President Trump a Christian. He is a fake Christian. Also, would you really want to force some conservative Christian doctor to perform your sex change operation? That does not sound like a good idea to me.

Christians like yourself often assume that it not only is something I can change, but something I should change. They seem to feel justified in citing religion as a reason to not associate with me and not help me. Laws and executive orders and any action from the government that confirm the idea that religion is more important than humanity only make this problem worse.
My hope for this country is that it will eventually be able to reconcile freedom of religion as it was first intended to be applied with the modern conservative Christian view of it. Mr. President, freedom of religion means that the government does not get involved in religion.

Also, forgot to mention, Trump pulled out of the Paris Accords and wanted to pull funding from PBS and NPR both of which do a great job of having some free science-y resources.
He also wanted to - don't know if it happened - to pull funding from an after school program that gave children a place to do stuff and such while their parent(s) were still working.

Oh my hecking gosh.
If he does that, I'll make more money babysitting and my grades will go down exponentially. But hey, creating jobs.

Trump is all for the kind of science that makes him look good, I haven't heard anything about the subject but I'm pretty sure he wanted another manned moon mission.
Also, friendly reminder that Trump has also:
- Issued a gag order on government departments so they can't use the words "climate change" in any official capacity
- Scrubbed the term "climate change" or anything alluding to it off the White House website
- Put Scott Pruitt and Betsy DeVos in important positions they have no business being in
- Cut the effective budget of NASA (or proposed one)
- Reduced the amount of money going into scientific grants
Just, you know, in case you forgot how much Trump has cut and apparently actively hates science. No wonder the March for Science is the 4th largest protest in US history.
god fucking dammit
NASA is one of the only good things about the government besides the National Parks Service
which he probably also wants to get rid of....

If he acts, walks and quacks like a duck.. Christians can't disassociate themselves from Trump saying he's not really a Christian when he enacts everything they want.

But he does not "walk and quack like a duck". He lives a very depraved immoral lifestyle and many of his policies have been opposed by Christian leaders.

I've heard that there's a proposal to tap the Yellowstone volcano both for generating geothermal power and to prevent it from erupting and killing us all. No one will support it, though, because it would take hundreds of years to actually prevent Yellowstone from erupting and killing us all. And, you know. Geothermal power isn't manly.

In terms of his political agenda he does, and he has unwavering support among Christian voters.. I really don't see Christian leaders speaking out against Trump that much.. I mean given his lifestyle they should be at the forefront of outcry as keepers of the moral spirit of America but they're not.
Capitalist religion in America has been roundly exposed for the utter degeneracy and moral bankruptcy of its profession.

Isn't it more that if you give money to the Church then God will reward you tenfold. I mean what a fucking con. Telling poor people that if they send money to a multimillionaire then they'll be rewarded.
Sickening really, I don't get how it isn't stamped on heavily as outright fraud. It's worse than Trump University.

Whereas Trump thinks healthcare providers should be allowed to refuse any to give sort of treatment to someone purely on the basis of the Doctor's personal morals.

Yes, healthcare providers do have that right. Beyond that I'm thrilled to see continued inroads of defunding and privatization.
