Share if you remember when Trump trashed Hillary's overly aggressive Syria policy as likely to provoke World War III.

How many guaranteed lawsuit-free pussy grabs would it take to restore him to that system snapshot?
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.

Why?
Most of the time I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or talking about.

”Many forms of government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe.
No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is
the worst form of government, except for all the others that have been tried from time to time." -
Winston Churchill, 1947.

"Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon – so long as there is no answer to it – gives claws to the weak.” - George Orwell

Because, another depression while the lasseiz-faire tending GOP is in power might actually do something to teach the populace that lasseiz-faire economics is actually not good for working people.

And a Trumpville sprouting on the National Mall.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

I was more thinking cut off the face to spite the face, but yeah. Ultimately it seems that these sorts of lessons don't get learned until it is experienced, and ultimately this lesson needs to be learned.

When a Republican is in office, Republicans will claim everything is swell and we need to stay the course. That same course pursued by a Democrat is a catastrophe.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Oh no I'm not hoping that he actively runs the economy into the ground. Methinks it'd look more like Herbert Hoover, and his willful ignorance of economic problems because "muh free market".

Well, the unemployment rate is at a ten-year low and wage growth is going up.

Aren't the job growths mostly in service sector industries?

Another recession isn't going to destroy the country. This country has weathered recessions, depressions, and a Great Depression. The American economy isn't that weak.

Yes, and the jobs reports are notoriously bad at tracking underemployment as well, in addition it also fails to mention the existence of those who have outright dropped out of the workforce. However, nobody's ever going to mention that.

I would disagree, if only because either way, the average person will suffer.

So, the average person either suffers somewhat ad infinitum, or suffers a lot more for a good long time for the dubious promise of less suffering in the future.
The former is more savory.

Look, man, I was asked why someone might approve of Trump's handling of the economy. I provided some reasons. Even if someone is underemployed, they've still got a job. They may not have had a job this time around two years ago. An income, even a chronically low one, is better than no income.

However, nobody's ever going to mention that.

Look, I'm a liberal and I despise this administration. However, this is just bullshit. If you listened to Trump during the campaign, he regularly talked about inaccuracies in the monthly job report. Now, you may think that's just simple opportunism, and I'd agree with you, but no one is not talking about it.
