Two clubs whom many would believe might not belong in the Final somehow where, with Cazadores not having earned their berth but given special consideration due to the errors of their federation last cycle, while Tihon lacks much of the pulling power and fame of the other clubs in the competition. However despite that lack of stardom, it was Tihon who would emerge as the victors in Audioslavia, becoming the first Chromatik club to lift the trophy. All entrants into the next AOCL must have won their nation's league or be the highest placed team of their association in a multiassociation league, with the exception of Tihon who are guaranteed a spot in the next AOCL group stage. Should they fail to qualify directly, Chromatika will be granted a second spot.

Procedural Note: The Invitational Applications of the Crystal Empire and the Equestrian States were accepted despite not being submitted with the appropriate letterhead. The Vilitan Cove Invitational is an International Club Competition. Designed to allow clubs who have not already qualified for a major international club competition (UICA; Cygnus Cup) a chance to compete on the international stage.
The Invitational is designed as a Fair Play competition, however an association may set any sporting criteria by which to determine which team will be permitted to apply to the competition.
Not all applicants are guaranteed invitation into the competition, particularly in the event more than 32 associations apply for consideration.

The format of the competition is a Fixed Bracket Knockout. All pairings prior to the Semi-Final stage will be two-legged home and away aggregate knockout rounds.
The "Away Goals" rule will not apply. Any match which is level on aggregate at the conclusion of full time during the second leg will immediately proceed to an extra time period. There will be no silver or golden goal scenario, and a full 30 minute extra time period would be contested. If the scores are still level, a penalty shootout will be employed to determine which team advances.

Semi-Final and Final stages will each be a single knockout match at a selected location in the Vilitan Cove region.

The rules for application to the VCI, which should be adhered to by any association which is inviting one of their clubs to apply for a slot in the tournament, are as follows:

Number of Teams Allowed to Apply: ( ONE )
Single-Association leagues may have one applicant team
Multi-Association leagues may have no more than three applicant teams with no more than one applicant from a single association
Criteria for Invitation:
In order to be invited, an applicant team must not have qualified for any Major Senior International competition (CC, GC, SBCC, CWC) during that cycle
An association may permit an applicant team using any criteria it chooses so long as the qualified applicant is selected based on sporting merit.
Preference for Invitations may go to applicants who have been selected via a Fair Play table
Other applicant criteria may include, but are not limited to: Best Defensive Record, Most Team Goals Scored, Most Improved Team
Previous Edition Finalists:
The reigning Champion Team does not need to apply for an invitation and will receive an invitation in addition to and exempt from other entrants and criteria
If deemed advantageous to the competition, the reigning Runner-Up, if not already invited, may also be extended an invitation under the same exemption

In order to apply for consideration to be Invited to the nest Vilitan Cove Invitational, interested associations should follow the following guidelines.

Interested applicants may include their information in their standard League Newswire post so long as the appropriate format is adhered to, particularly the inclusion of the keytext "VCIAPP:" as bolded below. Welcome one and all to the forty-fifth edition of the Cup Winners' Cup, brought to you by the Valladar Football Association. This edition of the competition will see 42 clubs from 41 associations participate, an increase of one club and one association from the last edition, with Ulsa entering as Cup Winners' Cup titleholders after failing to qualify through the Euran domestic cup system. With 42 clubs taking part in this edition, the cup winners from the twenty lowest ranked associations in the latest UICA coëfficients will take part in the preliminary round, with the 10 winners joining the remaining 22 clubs in the first round proper, from where the competition will be played in a straight knockout format. Defending two-time winners Ulsa are once again the favourites to claim a third straight title, however in this edition they will have to battle the club with the most Cup Winners' Cup victories, Raynor City United. Capitalizt SLANI's Flanders FC and Schottia's Port Sebastian are also solid candidates to win the competition, while Valladares' AS Bezieres, who were the first (and until now only) club to win three CWCs in a row, will be out to give more than a scare. Final Site Election

One FA (Darmen) sent its offer to host the final of this Cup Winners' Cup edition within the deadline, and it was accepted by the Organizing Committee. Upon seeing that there was only one bid submitted for this cycle's final, the Organizing Committee decided (begrudgingly) to vote to accept the only presented bid by acclamation. Thus the stadium that will host the forty-fifth Cup Winners' Cup final will be King's Park in Scott City, Darmen (cap. 35,000).

Congratulations to Port Sebastian on becoming the first Schottic Cup Winners' Cup winners, in the first appearance of clubs from both Schottia and Port Christopher at the final match.

Notes for Cup Winners' Cup Entry

Each association may enter ONE club into the Cup Winners' Cup, with the exception of Schottia which may enter one club in addition to Port Sebastian.
Should Port Sebastian win their qualifying national association or league cup, the spot held over for a second Schottic entrant will be vacated.
Clubs can only qualify through ONE domestic cup competition.
Each user may enter clubs from no more than two associations. Puppet nations must be declared upon entry.
With the exception of Port Sebastian, all entered teams must have won a national association or league cup; Super Cup winners and winners of play-offs cannot be entered.
Entrants must be posted in the International Domestic Soccer NewsWires (i.e. this thread), and at least the last three knockout rounds of the domestic cup tournament (i.e. quarterfinals, semifinals, and final) must have been scorinated and posted (with a link in the IDSN if it is posted elsewhere).
The deadline for Cup Winners' Cup entry will expire at the conclusion of the UICA Super Cup.

Stadium bids for the final of the 46th edition of the Cup Winners' Cup are now being invited. Only stadiums with a minimum capacity of 30,000 people will be eligible to bid for the final, and bids should be posted in this thread with relevant details of the stadium and its facilities. In the event that no bids are presented, the selection will default to Alexander I National Stadium in Swangard, Valladares (cap. 95,000).

Larry Watt composed himself with a sip of water; although something stronger might have done more for his nerves. Despite playing in front of 63,000 people every other week, and working as a columnist for SBC Sport, the Azoth right-back wasn't much of a public speaker.

'That's better,' he lied, placing the glass back down on the table, as he and his co-host, Jenny McDonald, prepared to address the journalists assembled out in the press room at Handon Old Town Hall. SBC Sport decided that he and Jenny were the perfect hosting double act, having taken over the Galacticos mantle from Boldsports at very the last minute. Schottia's nationalised press organisation had little experience in dealing with task of this enormity, therefore having Schottia's former captain and vice-captain fronting the event was an easy way to instil a little confidence in the event.

'All set?' Jenny asked, holding the door open for him, as they headed down the hallway.

'What are we actually announcing tonight?' He asked staring one last time at the script in front of him. 'Cause it seems to me that this is an announcement about an announcement, about an announcement...'

Jenny laughed, taking his genuine indignation for humour. 'They call it a "super-list" which as far as I can work out, in terms of prestige, is sandwiched somewhere between a long list and the free transfer list.' She pulled a face. 'So yeah... I guess it kind of is an announcement about an announcement, about... an announcement...'

'So it's essentially just every Tom Dick and Harry?' Larry frowned as he scanned down the list, which extended over three pages of A4 paper. Most of the names he recognised, although he had to say, he was suddenly gaining a new found appreciation of the SBC interns. The organisation had advertised for fifty young journalism graduates, whose job it would be to scout out anyone with a pulse. The serious work of narrowing the superlist down (and with it all the credit) would go to the senior journalists, with the editors making the decision on the eventual winner.

'Pretty much,' Jenny said as they came face to face with a man holding a clipboard who signalled for them to wait. 'And I've already checked, neither of us are on it.'

'No...' Muttered Larry, just coming to the same conclusion. '...I probably could have told you that for free.' He closed the pad of paper with as much of a disgruntled slam as one could create from a sheet of printer paper. 'Probably the only reason you and I were picked for this gig, we've got zero chance of making it on the list.' He tried not to pay attention as Jenny smiled and shook her head. 'Coret Hawks and the TL-East - we've got about as much chance of recognition as we do... as... as... as we do shitting golden eggs!'

'Not this again, man.' Jenny laughed. 'You've made the Galactico team of the year before. It can't be that hard to get recognised if they spotted you.'

'Yeah, the year we won the Champions' Cup!' Larry saw the smirk on Jenny's face and realised he was on a hiding to nothing if wanted a shred of sympathy. 'And I was the only Azoth player who made the bloody long-list.'

'Bleleleleh!' Jenny stuck her tongue and pulled a childish face. 'You know why Lionel Mah took the captain's armband off you and gave it to me..? because you're such a whiny bitch.'

'All I'm saying is there are a few obvious names missing here.' Larry concluded, stuffing the sheets of paper in his back pocked in defeat. Jenny wasn't going give him a centimetre. She set a high bar in terms of toughness, and expected others to fallow suit. That's what made her a good captain - a brilliant captain in Larry's opinion - she was exactly the right combination of fun and serious. Talking about being underrated, Jenny could have written the book. She had been playing her socks off for fifteen years - but unfortunately, all of it had come either in Port Christopher, or with the Nepharim Premierships biggest underachievers.

'Okay, and we're ready in: Five, four, three, two...' With very little warning the Production Assistant was counting them down. '...one!' A hand pushed Larry firmly on the back, and he had little choice but to follow Jenny out onto the stage. There was a polite ripple of applause (for what, he was unsure) as the two of them took their place in front of a room full of foreign journalists, all waiting eagerly with their notebooks and recording devices. There was a pause - a long pause - before Larry worked out it was incumbent upon them to speak.

Welcome to another edition of the Galacticos Index brought to you this year by the journalists at SBC Sport. Football might be a team sport, but this is the point in the season when we gather to celebrate the individuals who make the game that little bit more special. The key to recognition seems to be success, as seven of the thirty took part in the Champions' Cup final. On top for that, a further ten competed in the World Cup final, with Crawford City's Kim Coultan the only player to have appeared in both matches. In terms of individual clubs, Nepharim champs Sabrefell Moths are top the list with six players, closely followed by Valanora's Champions' Cup winners Raynor City United who chip in highly impressive five. Handon United also rack up five entries; their club ranking, combined with a run to the Champions' Cup semis is no doubt a factor in that.

"Six Moths Comes As No Surprise"
Former Schottia captain and Coret Hawks midfielder, Jenny McDonald: No it's not a surprise, having played against them twice last season. Gerhard Thunder's side weren't favourites going into the campaign; but they are a big, physical group of players, and they really know how to hurt teams going forward. If anything, I'm surprised their weren't more listed.

In terms of regional geography, it would appear that Atlantian Oceania is very much the place to be, with twelve of the thirty names. The independents closely follow on eleven, with Rushmore lagging behind on six, and Esportiva limping in with just a single entry.

It would also seem that ranking really matters, with the majority of the long-list playing for top clubs, nations, or in most case both. Alexander Kárpáty is the lowest ranked player listed in terms of club ranking, and probably deserves some extra credit given what he has a achieved at Mallox over the last cycle. The Pasargan's goals helped the club now ranked 87th in the world to an unexpected Härlighet Ligan title.

"Kárpáty Would Make A Worthy Galactico"
Schottia international and Mallox right-back, Bella Thompson: Absolutely no one was predicting we would win lift the title. Alex [Kárpáty] is a top-class player, through and through; he deserves to be on this list as much as anyone else, and I think he would make a worthy winner.

The biggest talking point of all, however, is where all the Celtic Noviodunum players have gotten to... Picking up the Globe Cup, en route to the top of the world rankings. The feat is perhaps all the more impressive as it has seemingly done without any top individual performers.

While at senior level we saw the Independent nations make much more charge on the places - largely due to the success Schottia and Bonesea have enjoyed - at youth level it is still very much the big three that are nurturing the next generation of stars. One might even argue that it's more of a big two, as eighteen of the twenty-two are from either Rushmore or Atlantian Oceania. On top of that, all bar Jayden Fox (who was on loan in Cosumar last season anyway) are currently contracted to clubs from those same two regions. It's quite possible that this points to a direction of travel, and on this evidence, Schottia's domination might prove to be more of a blip than a trend. Some of these names spring of the page, while others are might have slipped under the radar somewhat. Either way, you would have to agree these players look set to have a big future in the game.

Schottia Di Bradini Cup winning manager, Jock Sonny: 'From a Schottic perspective Dilon [Bánach] has done really well, but it's hard to see past Xíxì Êns and Isla Sibučić at this moment in time. Bryger Tidesson is another player I really like the look of, but with the luck Azuris have had... it's not been the poor laddie's year. We'll need to see what the judges decide, but in my opinion, there are four or five players in with a shout.

It's hard to know whether any of them will end up lifting the World Cup, the Cup of Harmony, or flipping burgers.Whatever the future has in store for them, this may well be their first chance to get their names out there.

The intention was to keep the Galacticos XI and the Short-List somewhat separate this year. Focusing on trying to use the former as a tool from which to build the most effective functioning team, as opposed to introducing just another cut.

So this was the best we could do, hashing together the players from the Long-List, hammering a few square pegs into round holes, and hoping for the best. Our team of experts have gone for a classic 4-4-2 (sorry, it was getting late) combining youth and experience, to build a team that would hopefully function well as a unit. How much this team would cost to assemble is truly mindboggling, so we have to look at potential opponents from a hypothetical viewpoint.

Galacticos XI

Goalkeeper

GK. Robert Griffin, Sabrefell Moths (EUR)

In Euran international, Griffin, the Galacticos XI would have a big, commanding shotstopper, who knows what it takes to perform at the highest level. The 27-year-old would be a safe pair of hands at the back, who has a habit of pulling off heroic saves. Perfect it the big matches

Defence

This would be a back four who all know each other exceptionally well. With Doig, Hordern, and Ünterhausen all part of Schottia's World Cup winning side, it should be simple enough for Bonesea's JK Cottle to seamlessly slot in at centre-back. Experience and familiarity would be the key here, producing a settled unit, in an area you traditionally don't want to tinker about with. Hordern brings strength and pace down the right flank, Doig is a steady competitor who brings with him the long throw capability. In the combination of Ünterhausen and Cottle, you have a young, modern centre-back, combined with a seasoned competitor with a real aerial presence.

Midfield

In the midfield the Galacticos XI would be utterly spoiled for choice, given the wealth of talent on the Long-List. Schottia skipper Coultan and Nephara's Klein are two players who are already familiar with one and other, having both performed effectively as part of the same Crawford City side last season. You would have two technically gifted players who complement each other well, with Coultan's range of passing and fleetness of foot, alongside Klein's movement, confidence and ball-winning. Both women are very comfortable with ball at their feet. Meier is either footed, so she would likely be shoehorned in on the right. The Moths winger has got the invention to conjure something up out of nothing, and with Coultan and Klein to look to for supplies, she could run up and down the wing to her heart's content. Floating, dynamic winger, Lithvathar, wouldn't have defensive duties to worry about with Doig behind her, and would be free to use her pace to exploit any weaknesses in the opposition back line. With two predators lurking in the box, her assists would prove devastating in this set-up.

Forwards

Martel-Burns and Tájö have been two of the most prolific strikers in the world during the last cycle. What the side would have are two forwards who are absolutely ruthless in front of goal, and are going to turn in any half chances that fall their way. A World Cup winner and a Champions' Cup winner, in many ways it feels quite fitting to have these two leading the line in our Multiverse Select XI.

Galacticos Short List

Our Editor in Chief, along with a hand selected panel of experts, former professional footballers and coaches, have been locked away deliberating on this one for days. One can only imagine there must have been a lot of disagreement along the way, but at great length, we have our Galacticos Short-List.

Five World Cup finalists, four Champions' Cup finalists. Keira Andisori, and Scheherazade Meier are the odd two out, and are here largely as a result performances in the Nepharim Premiership. Rusalka Klein, is the youngest player on the list at twenty-three, and seven-hundred and sixteen years younger than our oldest shortlisted player, Ilglerdiriel Lithvathar. Interestingly, the list is also fairly balanced in terms of gender, four men and six women showing that Mulitivers football is very much a co-ed affair.

OOC: I want to make sure Bonesea gets some much deserved credit at this point. It was he who came up with the concept, and much of the structure from this edition was based upon his model. Thanks also to everyone who offered me help and encouragement along the way, both were sorely needed. Similarly to previous editions, I'm not going to reveal the exact formula used to calculate the winner - however - rank, success, and RP mentions played a big part. Anything that can be put down journalistic opinion (or even sloppy journalism) I'm not going to edit, however, if there is anything that is factually wrong, then let me know and I will adjust it.

For the benefit of curious fans and (non-Sargossan) news sources, an alphabetical dictionary of (local) football cliches. Some of this may be familiar to some (very) longtime readers, but a recapitulation never hurts.

Arlington hat trick: When three different nominally "forward" players each score a goal. Can be applied outside the city, but usually as a pejorative implying they really aren't suited to be playing that many up front. Tends not to be used when more goals were scored. "City scored an eponymous hat trick on Matchday 14, at home against 102d Jr.s."

baseball: As in other countries, a useful comparative. "Twineur defeated Trink by the baseball-esque score of 6-3;" "Slogda manager Makvala Tsereteli makes so many substitutions you'd think this was extra innings."

Cosmos: increasingly pronounced with an [s] rather than a [z] on the end these days. "The Keppal Cosmos are not an incredibly diverse side by international standards, though they have three Bigtopians in their starting eleven."

Discord: An electronic system facilitating many types of instantaneous communication, or, usually to be used in adjectival form to describe Eintracht Trink's struggles. "Discord rules in Yeaun District after Eintracht contrived to blow a three-goal lead, losing 4-5 to Keppal Cosmos on Matchday 23 and sinking to twelfth place."

e: Uncommon in a paragon of urlistic journalism. "With a trio of rounds to go, Bassabook Old Boys' championship push is in doubt; Arlington City holds Bassabook to a draw down south, and this club now trails by a point and a half. But a position in a Champions' or slightly-not-as-grand Cup is still a probability...don't you think?"

Fulpog: The suburb in which Spenson Suburbia play, occasionally namedropped by the pedantic. Despite Sporting Esper technically having their home stadium in Alden rather than Hope City, making this correction instead is less common. "Sporting Esper fall to fourth on goal difference with just one match to play, bested 2-3 in Fulpog."

goal difference: Still the first tiebreaker, to the chagrin of some. "Trebuchet Cham got a huge boost to their goal difference on Matchday Four by beating Twineur 7-2, and erased that in a single implosion against Namiri Forest six rounds later."

home field: Tends not to be expressed as an advantage, but rather in terms of a corresponding disadvantage when teams travel. "Despite their exhaustion, Keppal Cosmos' extra-time winner was the only goal in their game 'at' Rovers United."

InterCity (Express): the train system that connects Zwangzug's large cities across districts. Often used to express the distance, if not the actual method of transportation, for road trips; "Arlington City crossed the long ICE 16 route, and edged out 102d 1-2."

jersey: The preferred term for a shirt used for the match. "Wearing new away stylings for their road opener in Keppal, the Canbix defender got herself sent off after an ugly foul, despite protesting that 'everything's legal in a new jersey'."

kit: Tends not to be used for shirts (see above). "Namiri Independent have plenty of tricks in their toolkit, running up the score on Matchday 13 against Trink."

loss column: Perhaps not as important as in other leagues because of the scoring incentives. "Keppal and Bassabook finish with the same total in the loss column, but the former are off to the Champions' Cup while the latter will have an unimpeded schedule next season."

mountain range: an appropriate metaphor for the performance of Excelsior Slogda from season to season, except not really when they win consecutive titles. "Slogda jumped from thirteenth to fifth, a climb steep enough for the Alai Mountains."

Namiri derby: Tends not to be used by writers within the district, as Sharag and Guariday are separate cities. Despite that has traction elsewhere. "Namiri Independent avenged their first-half defeat in the derby, beating Forest 1-0 at home."

outrage: Tends to be overused. "'THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!' demands the Namiri Forest manager, who is guarding the door to your office for some reason. 'Our tactics should surely have been rewarded with another championship, or at least an international berth. Allocating more government funds to defense would increase our...'" [Editor's note: interesting format, consider this for future seasons.]

percent: Should only be used for meaningless statistical minutiae; "94% of Bassabook's throw-ins were aimed accurately in Cham, and the same proportion of their visiting fans were on key." Metaphorical usage is frownd upon except in the sense of "Forest's Harshit Mistry put 110% of his energy into tackles in a painful draw against the Oxen, and will therefore miss the next two games."

Quidditch: A comparative for sizes of a few towns where Rovers United play. "I say, Easley is a bit more of a Quidditch municipality, innit?" Surely only refers to the college intramural sport...right?

rainouts: somehow never manage to interfere with the coincidental scheduling. "Arlington's dour scoreless draw with Twineur had to be made up after Matchday 13, but neither of them were in contention so it was fine."

superstitions: What you will probably be called if you mention the "curse" of Ayathen Arena. "All right, yes, there was no breakfast food, the pitch was covered with snow till about an hour before game start, you can't get to your seat without stepping on about a dozen cracks, but they beat the Oxen, didn't they?"

Takil: Preferred in the adjectival form as "takilan conspiracy," etc. Attempts to seriously import Rejistanian jargon will these days get you earnest engagement about the potential of auxiliary languages, the way the islanders go on sometimes. Su?

United: often requires scare quotes. "FTC 'United' finished last yet again."

Vilitan Cove Invitational: tournament that has been weighing on Trink fans in pride and disappointment alike. "One hopes that Trink's slump to ninth was due to being busy, and not just so they can avoid being too good for another VCI run."

west side: Shorthand for Eglantine Park, where FTC United play half of their games. "FTC United slumped to a 3-5 defeat to Twineur on the west side, but at least the classy fans there didn't try to graffiti the stadium afterwards."

X: Midfield formation popular with both Ephesian FC and the intermittent national team. "Ephesian's X kicked into high gear on Matchday 13, drawing with Cham, and never looked back."

youth: Someone not in university and not drawing the attentions of the time-dilating crews. "I say, midfielder Rabiya Kumari of Namiri Independent Youth is coming along well, don't you think?"

Zwischen fans: Rabid, collectivist (?), faithful, exuberant, anachronistic, rule-skirting, aggressive, champions.

Forest gonna forest. The eventual champions looked almost tepid against 102d, with only Spencer Gleason's goal shortly after the restart providing a source of offense. The defending champions of this particular event were perhaps fortunate to be drawn against the (fill-in-your-favorite-demeaning-adjective) Oxen, and stormed to an early lead courtesy of two goals from Gail Suzuki. The Bugs, who have found themselves in several high-scoring games this season, came out the worst against Namiri Independent, despite an attractive header from Kendra Gilmour.

The showdown between Ephesian and Keppal thrilled fans who saw in it a preview (? this is probably running throughout the season) of the title race. It's Ephesian who will be disappointed with their showing, jumping out to a 3-1 lead via some splendid Emma McHewitt offense, but Keppal pulled back via
Finn Hyde-Keel and Martin Scallop. Trink looked pleasantly harmonious (thank you, cliche masterlist) in holding off an energetic Bassabook; the midfield play was messy, but Yoshitoki Fremd managed to chip in with a couple assists for the hosts. Sporting Esper pulled the first upset, with Leslie Corrigan's goal overcoming Namiri Independent. As for their [s]derby[/s] district rivals, well, they seemed to "enjoy" another MUFN rematch.

Esper convincingly defeated Trink to try and assert their superiority in this competition, with two goals for Lucille Dresk-Holzen and one for Donovan Sands-Belmar. The Rovers and Ephesian will be frustrated at not gaining on them, with Macrina Sinore's late equalizer cancelling out a long, mazy run from Rachel Stelline. Canbix overcame Cham with some excellent defense from Clare Juness; their only goal came from Shao-Yi Watters.

Another MUFN rematch, another similar result.

Lots of scoreless games...but sometimes that's all you need. Arlington and Forest reprised another quiet MUFN "rivalry." (At this point you might be wondering why we don't just, you know, eliminate teams that are out of it...but then again, there's potential qualification on the line if the winner is in the top five, so stay tuned.) We got a bonus showdown of Bassabook vs. 102d, which is always "fun" in some sense; 102d were going to be satisfied with a half-point, and duly parked the requisite transit implement while locals opined about how they were wandering through a barren land (devoid, presumably, of offense).

And then there was Esper versus Keppal; the Bigtopians-and-company needed a win to make a difference, but the Robins, knowing a draw would be enough, were in no hurry to risk attack. Visiting goalkeeper Joel McJakill was nevertheless tested a few times on speculative breaks, and ably proved up to the challenge, but the offense wasn't there.

So, Esper win the Cereal Cup with 3.5 points...except they're already going to the Globe Cup, which lent new urgency to Ephesian's visit to Trink. The visitors had more important things to worry about, and always-busy Soobin Watney-Oh wasn't really in the game, letting Misako Tsuki work her magic and deliver the winner, plus a cute assist on the third goal to boot. Second in this tally will be plenty for Trink, who hope to do one better than last time at the VCI.

Defending Stablaydi Champions and knocked out in the last sixteen of the 70th TQCC by the giants of Kingsgrove (Brenecia) and last sixteen of the AOCL by the titans of Raynor City United (Valanora) in a pair of international cup runs that defied expectations. Tele finished nine points ahead of their nearest rivals, the Daii, in the 2231 season and we simply can't look past them as the team to watch for yet another title.

Also look out for: Tabeck Cefn Druids in their first season in the top flight, the chasing pack of the Daii, Foxes and Spirits vying for the title with Tele.

With the Tabeck Cefn Druids shooting up into the heights of the premier division, Tabeck FC have a new goal of matching their cross-town rivals by joining them and setting the world to rights by restoring the order of the Tabeck team hierarchy and getting back above the Druids. All it will take is a little more steel in the defence to pick up a handful of points and they'll be in the promotion picture.

Also look out for: Paricone Athletic surging up the table, Tuncastle and the Blues looking to bounce straight back with promotion runs.

How the mighty have fallen, dropping in to the third tier of Starblaydi league football having lost the most games of anyone in Liga 2, for the team with the largest stadium in the land. Down in the basement with the likes of Port Cythera and Nemya Hotspurs, they'll have to scratch and claw their way back up, or languish outside of the popular, profitable games for the foreseeable future.

Also look out for: How many goals Cedrus Islanders shop this season (51 in 30 last time around), and will Tournetas be the worst team in Starblaydia for the third successive time?
