Other Abilities: Transformation - His default form has become human as a result of his banishment, but akin to the power he kept to create weapons, he can use his power to return his body to its original state for a brief period of time.
Enhanced Condition: Even in his human form, he is capable of taking fatal blows and walking them off. On his first day, for example, he walked off a collision with a bus, and got up after falling from a police car at highway speeds. Along with this, his strength is disproportionate to his size, seeing that he was able to casually break open a locked door on a police cruiser. And lastly, despite his mass, he is much faster than he appears.

He's ineffective at long range, and certainly isn't bulletproof, even if he can take a good few before he goes down.
He doesn't quite understand tech, and the world is still hella new to him.
PERSONAL
Personality: He appears to be scarily relaxed most of the time, and is fascinated by the human world, even if he doesn't wish for it to become his home. Embarrassment isn't something commonly known to him, and he isn't shy to express his interest in something, or start a conversation.
Biography: He came into being in the place humans would call Hell, existing as a lower-tier demon. The place wasn't exactly peaceful, nor was it a place you could let your guard down, as a single flaw could end in your death. If you had something another wanted, they wouldn't be afraid to kill you for it. Power was all that mattered, and luckily for Lance, he had a bit too much of it. Aiming for reform and a higher place in society, he turned the hostile beings to his side and built an army. And with them at his side, he stormed the Noble household, slaughtered the unexpecting infernal beings, and claimed the title of their head for himself.
Sadly, his glory wouldn't last long, as other armies had gathered to end the uprising.
It was bloody, resulting in countless deaths and the loss of all those who supported him. Then, now defeated and left to their mercy, he was stripped of his power and sent to Earth to die. Learning their ways was another struggle, but he managed to succeed to a degree, and put the remnants of his abilities to use as a hero. Because if he couldn't do good in his world, and rise through the ranks as he did, he could try in this one.

Personality: To strangers, Alexander is snobbish, anti-social and hard to know. But once they get to know him, they discover that Alexander is a fun-loving boy who also has a knack for making sarcastic remarks. He also cares deeply for those dear to him, ready to sacrifice himself if it means saving them.
Biography: Born as the only child to a doctor and an engineer, Alexander was destined to have a good yet lonely life. He made very few friends at school and none outside of it. His only companions at home were his toys and his nanny Dara. He would rarely play with children his age, choosing instead to be at home and develop the worlds he would always build inside his head. He was constantly bullied in school because he had a slight stutter but the constant harassment caused Alexander to rarely speak, to avoid humiliation. but one night, while asleep, their house caught on fire. Dara was able to bring Alexander outside to safety and went back in to try and rescue his parents too but sadly a flaming piece of wood fell down on her, killing her instantly and left Alexander's parents stranded inside. Outside, Alexander was being calmed down by various police officers but he couldn't let the most important people, the only people in his life be consumed by the flames. Barely avoiding the grasps of various men, he made a mad dash to the house but was thrown back by an immense force, leading him to pass out.

When he woke up, he was in a hospital. A nurse told him that sadly, no one survived besides him. He also explained to him that after he became unconscious, flames started to engulf his body. The firefighters extinguished it but was surprised to see no burn marks on his body. Various tests were done on him and none were able to explain this miracle except for the fact that he was a pyro kinetic. A confused Alexander asked what will happen to him now that his parents are gone. The nurse explained that good men from the cadet program will come and teach him how to control his powers. Since then, he was transported to Geneva and is now awaiting acceptance into the cadet program operated by the Guardians.

Primary Ability: Poison gas - His most well known ability, and the reason for his name, Death Breath is able to unleash vast volumes of toxic fog from his mouth. Short exposure (several seconds) will cause choking, severe migraines, along with rapid growth of purplish buboes on the body. However, anything longer (5-10 seconds) will result in excruciating death.

Other Abilities: Acidic touch - He can secret acidic liquids from his palms when needed that are highly corrosive that can melt objects around him. Only the area he generally touches will melt, it doesn't spread. Different materials will take different lengths of time, flesh is one of the easiest while metal is one of the hardest.

ABILITIES
Equipment:
  • Gene Therapy: Marcus has created an elixir which temporarily increases the natural healing factor of the target. This can be administered orally, though on the battlefield he prefers to send it through special darts from his gun. He also has a concentrated form of this potion capable of super-charging one's healing factor to revive or stabilizing dying targets, but this comes at the cost of lowering their immune system for some time after. These elixir must be tailor made to the target, or else they risk causing all manner of deadly side-effects.

  • Empowerment: Similar to the elixir, Marcus has created a concoction capable of boosting the physical capabilities of it's target. The target gains an enhanced condition, reaching their maximum potential in things such as strength, speed, and durability for several minutes. If the subject has powers, the serum increasing their metahuman powers as well as their physical powers for around a half hour. Depending on what they subject asked for, this could come in less taxing powers, increased range, or more. The more aspects of the power that get buffed, the less time the serum will stay active.

  • Super Serum: If Marcus studies a metahuman, he can create a serum that temporarily alters a subject to grant them the studied metahuman's powers. These powers can be used in a weakened state for an hour, or at it's peak potential for a few minutes. If the subject has also been studied, the serum can be administered with a reduced likelihood of side-effects, as well as granting the powers for a longer period of time.

    These serums are still highly experimental and have a number of possible side effects. It can alter things such as your appearance and personality to match the original user of the powers, temporarily override your original powers, or converting the subject's biomass into energy resulting in an explosion. As a result, only one should be used every 24 hours, at least until new breakthroughs have been made.

  • Countermeasures: If Marcus studies a metahuman, he can create a drug that will suppress their powers for several hours. This suppressor only works on that particular target, as it counteracts source of power in the target. At the moment, he has some general purpose counters, such as cryo, incendiary, corrosive, EMP, shock, sleep, gas and containment foam rounds.

  • Hazardous Environment Suit: The HES is Marcus's suit, the Tank to his Think. It contains environmental seals, allowing it to become airtight. Once airtight, the suit can regulate it's temperature, withstand extreme cold, heat and pressure, and is equipped with a rebreather. The suit increases the physical attributes of the wearer, giving Marcus superhuman strength, agility, speed, reflexes, and the like. It can administer doses of his serums on command, as well as automatically cycle between the different ammunition loaded his gun. It runs on a super-efficient solar battery, with a backup rechargeable battery used for emergencies. It also has cameras and lights located around the armor so Panacea can see what's going on. It has jump jets in the boots, allowing him to leap into the air, and has two grappling hooks in the arms. The grappling hooks are capable of sending and transferring electrical charge.

    The HES also features multiple defensive features. It is made of armored plates with shock absorbers underneath, capable of withstanding heavy fire without being compromised. It can run an electric current on it's outside, shocking anyone touching it. It also has a shoulder mounted laser capable of detonating incoming explosives before they reach him. Finally, he is capable of throwing orbs of his countermeasures for an larger area-of-effect, at the cost of being easier to dodge/see coming.

    The helmet has a communications, navigation, targeting and tracking system which can be disabled and enabled at will. The suit has an AI, capable of running the ammo selection and trophy system for him, or even move the suit to him. It also is capable of scans and data collection, though in-depth analysis must be done in the lab.

    Despite it's capabilities, it is a support suit first and foremost. It can withstand short bursts of damage, but can't take sustained fire without beginning to crumple. It has no conventional weapons on it, so if he's disarmed his only means of attack are his serums and counter measure. While the AI keeps it from being hacked, an EMP can temporarily disable everything except the eject and movement, forcing him to either ditch the armor or initiate a full reboot, which takes a minute or so. In a combat situation, that minute can be an eternity.

  • Modified Carbine: Marcus carries a modified carbine into a battle, capable of administering darts to teammate or bullets to enemies.

  • Nanobots: A suite of nanobots have been developed, capable of preforming the same tasks as Marcus's various serums on mechanical targets. These nanobots are capable of repairing his suit in combat, though major damage or an EMP will render them useless

  • Black Box: A large, unmarked black metal box, whose content is Marcus's closely kept secret.
Primary Ability: Tinkerer's Sense - Marcus has an intuitive ability to know how to create improvements to individuals and objects. After observing an individual display their powers or seeing an object in action, Marcus can get an accurate appropriation of how the target works. After studying the target, Marcus can understand how to improve it, increasing things such as it's effectiveness, range, power, etc. This can also extend to creating equipment or augmentations for people that would enable the target to work better as opposed to a direct buff. For example, if a character needed to get to new vantage points, he could create a grappling hook or a jetpack. These improvements range from mechanical to magical to biological and everything in between.

  • Jury-Rig In a pinch, Marcus can jury-rig various gadgets or concoction in order to help him out of bind so long as he has access to some scrap. Held together by grit, magic and duct tape, these objects are fairly unstable, only lasting a few uses or short distance before falling apart.

  • Limited Magic: Marcus has very limited magic, only able to channel some simple enchantments and alchemy. If he has access to his workshop, he can preform more advanced rituals, albeit ones that take more time and energy than someone with traditional magical training.

Flaws: Little to no combat prowess outside of his suit, takes a disproportional amount of effort to create things not specifically tailored to one person/individual, no super powers outside of his intelligence. Very proud, doesn't like accepting help. Tends to get a little too focused on his mad science, and as such can sometimes act inappropriate for the moment.

PERSONAL
Personality: Marcus is a good-humored if reserved man, staying serious with a spot a dry wit here and there. He enjoys the company of others, though can sometimes be a tad cautious and awkward when it comes time to divulge information about himself. He believes that people are inherently good, and as such is willing to give people second chances. Despite this, he still finds it hard to trust people completely, preferring to ensure he knows enough about people's agendas before divulging things to them. He's almost completely motivated by his research, especially one project, and as such is willing to sacrifice anything if it'll get him one step closer to his goal. This can lead to an unhealthy amount of self-sacrifice if he thinks he can finish his pet project. He is also proud and stubborn, unwilling to change his course once set, ask for help if obstacles arise, or even believe it's something he can't overcome.

Biography: Marcus had a pretty normal childhood, albeit it at a slightly more accelerated pace. He entered college at the age of 14, where he took a liking to improving things. He wasn't content with just fixing people's seats to be more comfortable though, he had dreams of becoming a hero. So when he was approached by an organization named Tartarus offered Marcus an opportunity to make superheroes more super, how could he refuse?

Working with state of the art equipment, he was able to develop the boost serum, a way to reliable locate which gene sequences controlled metahuman powers, and the groundwork for what would become his super serum. While he was working there, he was introduced to several people, including a particularly promising agent named Alghoul. Marcus didn't really get to interact much with the agents, instead focused on improving their armor and equipment, or trying to help them develop their latent superhuman powers. It was good work, and Marcus felt like he was doing some real good.

However, this idyllic setup was not to be. After an experiment went awry, Marcus fled from Tartarus, seeing it as the morally grey power-hungry organization it was. Seeking asylum, he fled to the academy, offering his services to the people he knew were the good guys.

  • Organic Suit (Unfinished): Dagon's "suit" is actually a modified alien organism. The original creature was designed to bond to an organic host, render it unconscious, create a super-durable cocoon around the host and then change it's biology into something that will propagate the species. Thanks to Tartarus's experiments, the organism has retained it's ability to create it's resilient armor while keeping it's other abilities dormant. It can also regenerate itself at roughly the same rate Dagon does, allowing for the armor to survive as long as he can.

    Tartarus then modified the suit with cybernetics, including a HUD, short-range scanner, zoom focus, and a few other gadgets that would help a soldier in the field. All electronics are powered from the organism, which in turn is powered by Dagon's life-force, acting as a check to his rampant healing factor. The electronics are created by nanobots, which allow the suit's mechanical components to regenerate with its organics.

    Due to his escape from the Tartarus facility, Dagon's armor is not in it's finished state. The armor was original supposed to retain it's durability at all times, but at this point is normally only as resistant as a military-grade body armor. It can increase durability be syphoning material from his weapons or an increased amount from his healing factor. However, this obviously has some draw backs. Syphoning material from his weapons locks them in whatever form they're currently in, and if this durable armor needs to be repaired will make the weapons unable to fire, forcing them back to their base state as a sword. Increasing the syphoning of his healing factor will cause hits to get through not to heal until Dagon has powered down or is unconscious. The maximum durability it can reach before locking weapons to their current form roughly equates to titanium.

    The armor was also supposed to be able to change Dagon's abilities, feeding off his life-force to create new abilities based off other members of the creature's race, a feat currently unavailable. It is theorized that through recovering the armor of other Tartarus agents, Dagon can gain new abilities.

    Finally, as a precaution to prevent the suit from being used against the Third Order, the suit currently has an ability to remove the restraints placed on the original creature. If the restraints are removed, the suit will begin to fight Dagon. First, it will attempt to control his mind, making him perceive friends as enemies and vice versa. If this programing is overrided, it will fight him, locking down and slowly encasing him in the same super-durable cocoon that normally acts as his regeneration pod. At this point, a signal will be sent to Doctor Typhon, allowing Dagon to be recollected by the Third Order. These restraints can be removed with either a powerful targeted spell or a specialized mechanical signal, and requires a counter-spell or cessation of the signal. Few people know of this, as Doctor Typhon has kept the vulnerabilities of his Tartarus agents fairly secretive.
  • Combat Evolution: A subset of the creature's ability to create armor, Dagon's suit is capable of adapting to environmental hazards that would limit his regeneration. For instance, if he was thrown into a vat of acid and had no parts of him outside of the vat, the suit would create a cocoon in a day that could survive the acidity, expanding as more of Dagon formed. The suit would then gain the ability to resist acid for a time, until it became accustomed to the new non-corrosive environment and adjusted itself accordingly.

    This environmental resistance can be developed before entering the hazard if Dagon knows what he's facing, taking about a minute of channeling to form, or about ten minutes once immersed into the environment. For instance, if he knows he's about to go on a space walk, the suit would evolve to allow this. However, it wouldn't allow him to the survive reentry. If he takes any damage during this minute, he must start the channeling over again, and any damage to the armor/himself during the ten minutes of natural evolution must be healed normally. This resistance can be applied quicker for a specific portion of his body, allowing him to stick his arm into molten metal or his head underwater.

  • Truth: Truth is morphable weapon made from the same organism of Dagon's suit, capable of morphing between pistol and blade instantaneously. By reloading it in pistol form, it is capable of turning into a variety of accurate weapons, such as assault rifles, DMRs, railguns or snipers. The gun regenerates it's own ammunition, although more damaging ammunition takes longer to make. So while he could burst-fire a DMR without problem, he can't rain down sniper fire at the rate of machine gun. Anything it creates is grey with blue accents. It is capable of firing cryo and holy rounds. Once a day, it can morph into a creature and attach itself to target, forcing it to tell the truth for a short period of time before their will regains control. This is at the cost of not using the weapon for several hours while it recharges/reforms itself.

  • Justice: Justice is morphable weapon made from the same organism of Dagon's suit, capable of morphing between pistol and blade instantaneously. By reloading it in pistol form, it is capable of turning into a variety of damaging weapons, such as shotguns, miniguns, grenade launchers, and rocket launchers. The gun regenerates it's own ammunition, although explosives take longer to make. Any equipment it forms is black with red accents. It is capable of firing pyro and infernal rounds. Once a day it can morph into a creature and attach itself to a target, forcing it to feel all of it's pain receptors activate at once for several minutes. This is at the cost of not using the weapon for several hours while it recharges/reforms itself.

Primary Ability: Regeneration: Dagon's greatest ability is his healing factor. His able to take things such as bullets wounds, stab wounds, and third-degree burns within moments. He can regrow and reattach limbs, survive and move without his head, and even regenerate from a single cell, although this regeneration would take at least a month. His healing factor also makes him immune to foreign bodies, such as poisons and diseases. He must regenerate from the location with the most of his biomass, which at the very least would be from a super-protected section of his suit.
Other Abilities:
  • Enhanced Condition: Dagon's physical condition is significantly greater than that of a normal human. He possess superhuman speed, strength, agility, endurance, reflexes, senses and durability.

  • Fourth Wall Awareness: Dagon is convinced that he is a character in a story, and as such often talks to a narrator. All attempts to medicate him has been met with, and I quote, "You're not my real dad." Likely the result of his unstable cellular structure, it also makes him immune to telepathic aid or intrusion, as if entering his mind would drive others insane. However, magical illusions can still fool him. It also grants him limited knowledge about what the powers and names of people in his vicinity, although this may just be a result of reading too much about heroes and villains on online databases. It is believed he may develop limited precognition, but currently does not possess such a feat.

  • Combat Ready: Dagon is a master combatant, trained in several unarmed and armed fighting styles. Similarly, he's been trained in a variety of melee and ranged weapons. He is a master marksman, capable of hitting small, fast moving targets at long ranges, even while running. While he is capable of holding his own against trained professionals, he has to rely on improvisation or his endurance to beat specialists.

Biography: Imagine, soldiers who could strike at even metahuman targets with impuny, someone who made their enemies feel as if a monster from legend had come early for them. This was the idea behind the Tartarus program, a secret Third Order project designed to be the perfect blend of genetics, technology, and magic. By augmenting a person's DNA to give them superhuman capabilities, altering their brains to make them unquestioningly loyal, then giving these individuals techno-arcane weapons and armor, the Monsters of Tartarus were set upon the world to preform impossible missions and black bag operations as the organization saw fit. However, they weren't perfect. Due to the nature of their missions, the Monsters would often take serious injuries performing their duties, which meant weeks or months in a healing chamber. Enter Remenant.

He was to be the first in a new wave of Monsters. Aside from the usual genetic alternations, Remenant would also receive a powerful healing factor, allowing him to stay in active use for longer. Ironically, the healing factor would prove fatal if left unchecked. As a result, Remenant was given an magically-altered alien parasite as his equipment. Full of amazing abilities, Remenant would have every tool at his disposal. He was now a one-man special ops team, capable of fulfilling any and all roles for any mission. Whenever not in use, he'd be thrown into solitary confinement. After all, with his healing factor, they didn't have to worry about age spoiling his body, so why bother with a stasis chamber tailor-made to his physiology?

Remenant was proving quite the asset, so the scientists decided to experiment on him further. They had recently discovered the "fourth wall," a sort of barrier between the fabric of reality that oracles and sages used to create their prophesies. While these magic users had been doing this naturally for centuries, scientist could now pinpoint where this "wall" was. Soon they began theorizing of what would happen if you linked someone's mind to this wall, hoping to create a soldier who would have a sort of precognition, able to avoid harm before it touched them. Because the scientists had no idea what kinds of adverse affects would happen to a human test subject, and knowing that Remenant possessed an amazing healing factor and was soon going to be replaced with a newer model, they decided to mess with Remenant's mind. Through a complex procedure, Remenant's mind was tied to the fourth wall. At that point, a rush of ideas and forces invaded Remenant's psyche. Remenant sprang from the table, his mind suddenly clear. He remembered everything, every horrible act he had every committed, and it was all because of the Tartarus program. Remenant was dead. Arising from it's broken psyche was a new identity. And he knew who he'd bring to justice first.

Donning his suit, the agent killed everyone inside of the testing chamber. As security forces rushed in, he fought his way though, eventually escaping capture. Once he reached safety, he wandered the world for a bit, acting as a vigilante to atone for his time as Remenant. He formed a new identity, the very opposite of what he was as a brain-washed soldier. He wouldn't be a silent, solitary villain, he'd be a fast-talking, monster-slaying hero. Taking the name given to him by the narrator, Dagon sought out the Academy to try and do some good.

As Indonesia is a republic, her status as a noble had virtually no affect, explaining her family's poverty in her childhood. Things started to look better soon, and she moved to Bandung at the age of 12, her family now living in better condition than before, no longer poor but not rich either. She got into a good private school and made some good friends, her best friend being a classmate of her who shares similar interests.

Her life started to change when she was mugged while walking to her grandmother's house. Cornered, she relied on her boxing training to fight, except this time fire appeared from her fists. Though shocked at first, Malika accepted her powers and the responsibility that came with it, becoming the superhero Tigress, who keeps the streets of Bandung safe. With her quick wits, tough body and fire powers, she's ready to take her superhero career to the next level.

Primary Ability: (Hybrid Clockwork and Dieselpunk Physiology) - Instead of being powered by electromagnetic motors, wires, and computer chips like any other robot, Z1 was powered by gears, hydraulics, and cams - something that you would usually find in clocks and early automobiles. Originally starting out as a prototype that took nearly a decade to construct, along with years of testing, Z1 was designed with no electric components, which left Z1 completely invulnerable to EMPs and bursts of electric that would've normally destroyed ordinary robots and androids (military or civilian alike). Also built in inspiration of Pierre Jaquet-Droz's automaton 'The Writer', Z1 was also meant to be a gargantuan upgrade from the 18th century automaton itself, and to make that happen, Z1 was constructed with many exotic features that would usually be found in clocks, pre-1970s computer tech, and pre-1920s automobiles.

To give Z1 a system of RAM (random access memory) like an ordinary electronic robot, Z1 was equipped with a collection of penny-sized memory disks that could be engraved or remolded mechanically to give Z1 a non-electronic form of RAM - which works in a manner very similar to vinyl record disks and players. To prevent memory overload and reduce complexity, Z1's memory disks are wiped clear of their memory every 24 hours - via a system of remolding/stamping presses - unless Z1 were to keep using said memory; however, she can only access and use one disk at a time. Her ability to learn is made possible not only of her hyper-advanced and compact mechanical computer in her head, but also mechanical receptors that grant her the senses of hearing, sight, and touch; however, there is much more to her exotic mechanical design.

Z1's humanoid anatomy is made possible by the fact that she contains large components that coincide with function as well as anesthetics, such as, bellows (lungs), a heart (clockwork heart), and mechanical computer (brain). Z1 contains large bellows in her chest that function in a similar fashion like the human lungs - she can use the bellows as a way to either inhale air or exhale air to prevent overheating. She also has a clockwork heart with a wind-up port built inconspicuously in the center of her chest, right where an ordinary human heart might be on an actual human being; however, Z1's most complicated and impressive component inside of her is the hyper-advanced and compacted mechanical computer in her head.

A superhuman marvel of careful engineering and physics, Z1's mechanical computer has been an enigma as well as a triumph of human ingenuity in mechanical contraptions. Able to function on the same level as its electronic counterparts, Z1's mechanical computer is an extreme miniaturization of Pierre Jaquet-Droz's cam and shaft mechanism as found in his 'Writer' Automaton; however, unlike Jaquet's automaton, Z1's mechanical computer can automatically reprogram itself without any outside assistance - all done by a system of gears, levers, cams, shafts, ratchets, and information received from Z1's mechanical receptors. While Z1's mechanical computer is nowhere impressive in smashing complicated numbers, Z1 is a very human-like machine, since her mechanical computer was designed to emulate the human brain (if her memory disks weren't any indication of this design).

- Because of Z1's mechanical construction and physiology, Z1 cannot access the internet or any other electronic network like other robots
- Z1 is powered by a clockwork heart, which if left unwounded for too long, she'll eventually cease to function unless she or someone winds her back up; however, while Z1 has an internal indicator for this fault, she be on low power by the time the indicator springs into action
- Z1's dieselpunk side of her has its faults; her hydraulics and pipelines need oil changes every once in while, which requires being strapped to a stretcher and then undergoing maintenance
- Auditory sensors, motion sensors, and anyone with superhuman hearing or is sitting next to Z1 in a quiet room can hear the 'ticking' and 'clicking' sounds within Z1's internal parts - rendering stealth rather difficult for Z1

PERSONAL
Personality: Z1 is a remarkably observant and absolute machine; however, her absoluteness as a machine also makes her a frighteningly honest character. Her brutal honesty not only made her terrible liar, but it has also made her a very blunt and direct machine. Her linguistic vocabulary is oligosynthetic at its core, which reflects her absoluteness and directness as a mechanical machine rather than an electronic machine. Also, even though Z1 was designed as a military machine, Z1 behaves more like a passive infiltrator rather than a cold-blooded and merciless machine - avoiding the fact of being a clockwork-dieselpunk clone to the terminator. Rather, due to Z1's mechanical computer being designed to emulate the human brain, Z1 tries to be human as possible - even if it means wearing clothes and going about daily life like a human despite the fact that she is a pure mechanical machine.
Biography: Z1 was built and designed by a trio of German undergraduate scientists and physicists named Max, Albert, and Irwin. Out of the three undergrads, Max and Albert had the support of their families, whom were both clockwork makers by coincidence. Irwin, however, provided the intellect and knowledge of both nanotechnology and physics.

All three friends were interested in building a robot that would have no electric components, not even old vacuum tubes and core rope memory units were an option. Their robot, Z1, was intended to operate using nothing more than clockwork and dieselpunk technology alone. While a massive undertaking, all three friends wanted to achieve the impossible.

After more than a decade of construction and testing, all three friends have finally built the chassis and the internal parts of Z1. Unfortunately, aside from graduating with their master degrees, all three friends were exhausted from their research, development, and construction of Z1. To make matters even worse, their efforts did not go unnoticed for long.

The German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (aka, Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz / BfV) had taken noticed of the Z1 project. Before long, in the weeks following their graduations, Max and his friends were encountered by the BfV; however, there was a surprise from the visit. The BfV weren't just going to confiscate the Z1 project, but they also gave Max and his friends an offer too sweet to refuse.

Apparently, the BfV offered their Z1 project and themselves a place in the military for robotics research and development. Initially skeptical, Max and his friends hesitate with their decision for some time before accepting the offer with a careful handshake. Though once in military hand and employment, Max and his friends slowly relinquish their skepticism.

Due to the radical and exotic features behind Z1's design, the Z1 project was kept under strict secrecy no matter the costs. While an ingenious and marvelous machine, it didn't take long for military engineers and scientist to realize just how extremely complicated Z1 is...as a machine. Z1 was made up of not millions or billions, but several trillion parts - which was where Max and his friends came into play.

The secret behind Z1's construction as a purely mechanical robot was its hyper-advanced clockwork and non-electronic dieselpunk technologies. Z1 was no cyborg or ordinary android, she was a gargantuan evolution in Pierre Jaquet-Droz's automaton, The Writer. She was the perfect answer to counteracting the ever so dangerous world of cyberspace, hackers, viruses, and EMPs.

Once Z1 was finished in its many tests and experiments, Max and his friends were encountered by the military once again to try and find a way to mass-produce a line of robots like Z1. Unfortunately, there was one obvious problem with that proposal. Z1 was an extraordinarily complicated machine; mass-producing a line of robots like Z1 would be near impossible with the current technology and time.

Subsequently, Max and his friends refuse to rush Z1 into mass-production and put their treasured robot at risk. To their surprise, Max and his friends are fired by their overseer and decide to hand over the project to the army under the guise of a new cyborg program. A couple days later, in an act of desperation, Max and his friends try to transport the Z1 project back home; however, they're both caught before they could even leave the military.

Unfortunately, just when the military confiscated all assets of the project and cease control of the actual Z1 robot, Z1 herself had mysteriously vanished from the lab. Nevertheless, Max and friends were brought before a German court and placed in prison for god knows how long. Though in the mist of their incarceration, not all hope is lost somewhere out there.

Three years later, a young woman that no one has ever laid eyes before walks into a Zurich police station. Until that moment, nobody knew who this particular woman was...except in top secret military to documents. She had all the proper ID, driver's license, birth certificate, social security card, and a signature that is spot on match; however, there was one problem, it was all in German.

At first, the Swiss police were confused as to why such a beautiful German woman would turn herself in; however, they didn't need to figure that out for too long. That was when the woman formally introduced herself, not as the woman on the ID, but as none other than Z1. Initially thinking it was prank, the police were eventually frightened to find out who Z1 was when she disclosed the Z1 project in the interview room.

Once her story was told, the Swiss police were unsure how to handle Z1. Extraditing her back to Germany would cause an international scare; partly because of Z1's disclosed information, and also partly because of the fact that she is in fact a robot. So by contacting the Swiss government instead, the Swiss brought in the ever-so ominous and mysterious government agents to handle the situation.

As usual, the government agents on sight intended to keep Z1's existence a 'hush-hush' and make sure that no one remembered what they saw or remembered. At the same time, the government agents were apparently well aware of the sensitivity behind the Z1 project. Subsequently, it didn't take long for the 'G-Men' to turn Z1 over to an organization called the Guardians - whom are stationed in Geneva.

Brief Biography: Camillus was born a vampire somewhere in Shandong, his family hiding their true natures for as long as he could remember. One fateful night, he encountered rumours about a ghost who has been killing people all over China through the internet. Armed with his trusty silver knife and occult smarts he picked up from various places, he began hunting for the ghost.

Eventually he succeeded in ending the terror the ghost started and sending it back to where it belongs. He also realized how much he could do if he got proper training. When the cadet program was announced, he eagerly joined it, with hopes that someday humanity will see vampires in a whole new light.

Our characters' redundancy depends on his development, focus and fighting style. If he becomes an arty-like support offense with one hell of an arsenal of ranged attacks (i.e meteors, fireballs, etc), then he'll work well with Malika as she is more of a brawler.

Alexander prefers to be an assasin type as he can easily move around with his smoke form but can either be a long-range fighter or brawler, depending on the team's needs.

Though if I may add, I'm interested in what would be their relationship. Alexander would see Malika as a superior version of himself, and would either strive to be just as great as her or despair that he isn't as great as her (maybe both).

Alexander prefers to be an assasin type as he can easily move around with his smoke form but can either be a long-range fighter or brawler, depending on the team's needs.

Though if I may add, I'm interested in what would be their relationship. Alexander would see Malika as a superior version of himself, and would either strive to be just as great as her or despair that he isn't as great as her (maybe both).


I was thinking more of a friendly rivalry. Both of them working side-by-side with similar powers but different roles. Malika tends to get close to her rivals, so be prepared for the possibility of her and Alexander being best friends.

Symbiotic Demonic Possession, "Lucy"
Luke is partially possessed by the demon Luciaraga’azath “Lucy”, as a result of a botched attempt by a satanic cult to summon a demon. Though Luke acts as a host for Lucy, Lucy has no ability to act on the outside world, and no ability to influence Luke’s actions, beyond simple persuasion. Lucy can take partial control of Luke, but only with Luke’s consent. When Lucy ‘partially possesses’ Luke, Luke’s eyes shift to a deep purple. In addition, he gains heightened reflexes and slightly increased strength. Because of Lucy’s presence, Luke can also ignore pain and injuries during this time, though once the possession ends, everything he has been ignoring thanks to Lucy’s help will begin to affect him. In addition, though he can ignore the pain of a bullet or stab wound (as well as the effect it may have on his physique), he can still bleed to death during this time. As another result of Lucy’s presence, Luke has a heightened immune system.
Demonic Memory: Lucy has photographic memory, as well as centuries of combat experience and knowledge to draw on. All of this knowledge is accessible to Luke, as long as he requests it first.
Demonic Sight: Lucy aids Luke’s sight by identifying and tracking targets/ objects of interest. This essentially functions as a heads-up display (HUD) during combat, giving Luke heightened combat senses, and well as a quasi-predictive ability (really, this is just Lucy making predictions based off of past experience and analysis of the situation and feeding likely scenarios to Luke).
Demonic Construct Similar to the concept of a mind palace, because of Lucy’s presence and influence over Luke’s subconscious, Luke is capable of entering a semi-conscious state where he can interact with Lucy. In this state, Lucy can create projections for Luke. Additionally, as interactions occur at the speed of thought, relegated to Luke’s brain, time passes more slowly in this state (About ⅕ speed).

Flaws: Excessive or extended possession by Lucy will leave Luke mentally worn out. If Luke passess out, Lucy is no longer capable of controlling Luke’s movements. While unconscious, though Luke can still communicate with Lucy, Lucy cannot aid Luke in any meaningful way. Though he is capable of holding his own in a fight, his real strength is tactical and strategic analysis, and well as serving as a source of significant knowledge; he is squishy compared to many other meta-humans, and is no genius. Since he was first possessed, Luke has come to be increasingly reliant on Lucy’s help. Luke is vulnerable and unprepared for life without the demon.

Personality: Luke keeps to himself, though he isn’t shy. He simply prefers Lucy’s company over that of most other people. He is perfectly willing to join a group conversation, and loves to argue and debate academic subjects.
Biography: Luke grew up in a small Pennsylvania town, the son of a local preacher, and a devout Christian. He lived with his family (his father, mother, younger brother, and older sister), and had plans to go to college. Luke had been a well rounded, and perfectly average student. He received As and Bs, and was an active member of his local Boy Scouts troop. He was in love with his girlfriend, Hannah, and they had plans to go to the same college. He wanted to marry her one day.
When Luke left his senior prom, the last thing he expected was to die. In fact, he left expecting to lose his virginity, as Hannah had promised him a ‘night he’d never forget.’ Instead, just hours after prom, he found himself naked, tied to an obsidian altar, and surrounded by Hannah’s family, who, much to his surprise, turned out to be satanists. However, when Hannah stabbed him in the heart, rather than dying, as he expected, Luke woke up in a hospital room a few days later. He learned that he had been rescued from a fire in Hannah’s house which had killed Hannah, and her entire family. That night, Luke met the demon Luciaraga’azath for the first time.
The daughter of an influential demon named Leonard, ‘Lucy,’ as the demon insisted being called, offered a deal to Luke. Having realized that the cultists had botched the summoning, Lucy offered Luke her services, in exchange for hiding Lucy from her father and helping her to experience various things she wanted to see, like movies, food and music (Though nearly five hundred years old, Lucy has not left Hell in nearly three hundred years). As Lucy helped Luke with school, and Luke helped Lucy with her goals, they grew closer, eventually becoming extremely close friends.
However, their simple lifestyle ended in August of that year, when Hannah, thought dead, returned with a newly summoned demon in tow. Hannah, deranged by the deaths of her family and the trauma of the fire, wanted to kill Luke’s family, believing that if she did so, Luke would join her and the demon (and thus allowing the demon, a servant of Lucy’s father, to capture Lucy). She and the demon attacked Luke’s family, but were defeated by Luke and Lucy. However, during the conflict, Luke’s father, a retired demon hunter, realized that his son had been possessed. Though he forgave Luke after the fight, Luke’s extremely religious brother refused to accept his brother, and left to join the order of which his father had once been a member.
After the attack, Luke left, believing his presence only put his family into danger, and decided to join the Guardians, reasoning that the best way to protect his family would be to protect the world.

ABILITIES
Equipment: Candace keeps a collection of knives, making use of them in combat and for intimidation purposes. She has a pair of gauntlets for her wrists, which block damage, with the right gauntlet having a set of claws extending from it. In combat she wears a black outfit made from leather, and a black bandana around the lower half of her face. As a backup, she keeps a revolver with her most times, and her knife of choice is usually a decorated dagger that she received from her aunt.
Primary Ability: Vibration control. Candace can create vibrations in both the air and ground, and direct them. These can be as subtle as making the ground rumble slightly, or as strong as collapsing walls and knocking back opponents. Bigger vibrations put a strain on her, however. She couldn't create an earthquake because she would pass out before that worked out for her. But she can, say, knock a long haul truck off of the road by pushing it to the side via vibrations sent through the air. At close range, she can also send waves of vibrations that are strong enough to break bones.
Other Abilities: Third eye. Candace is naturally in tune to things that aren't of this world. If there's invisible spirits, or any other kinds of beings that exist primarily on other planes, Candace can usually see them. This was one of her grandfather's abilities, and a relatively minor one considering that he was one of the greatest and strongest metahumans of all time, but it's become a big deal to Candace. She's rarely alone, and these spirits and invisible beings both guide and torment her.

Skills: A strong close quarters fighter, Candace doesn't slow down just because she's bleeding. She's able to take hits and keep moving forward, and anger is a good motivator for her. But there's not really a ton of other things that she's good at. She is somewhat physically strong, and she's a talented artist if not a little off color and disturbing with her drawings.
Flaws: Candace has an explosive temper and this is often triggered when others don't expect it. She's also quite jealous, which has become a major flaw of hers that displays itself in both family life and personal relationships. Her fighting relies more on adrenaline than technique, leaving her open to getting hurt by more skilled fighters. Her biggest weakness is her mental state. Her mind was fractured by a rogue spirit long ago, and it can be described as... Broken. She hasn't quite made peace with the voices inside her head, and they torment her.

PERSONAL
Personality: Candace is often isolated because she doesn't want others to see how bad off she is. She has a desire for more friendships or a romantic relationship, but her high amounts of jealousy can be offputting to people. She looks down on herself because of her mental state, but this hasn't completely erased her natural personality. She's still brash and tells things like they are, a trait that attracts some people and pushes others further away. She also has quite the bad temper...

Biography: Candace was born into a famous family tree, but many people don't realize that. They don't think that the boyish looking girl that's spent time locked up in a mental facility could be the granddaughter of the most famous hero in Europe, someone who was the most famous person in the world for a time. And yet Candace did come from that family line, albeit from a father, Ezra, that didn't inherit any of the powers of Charlemagne. Her mother, Kamila, is a powerful telekinetic hero from Poland. While her secondary power comes from the paternal side of her family, she inherited her vibration control as a variation of her mother's power. She always had an easier time controlling the latter, rather than the former. While she proved from early on that she was going to be strong in combat because of her control over vibrations, she had a harder time mastering her vision into other realms.

When Candace was twelve, she was playing outside by herself and saw a mysterious spirit that intrigued her and drew her towards it. She believed that it wasn't from this realm and that she was safe, but she found out that she was wrong when the malevolent spirit possessed her. It battled her for control of her body, and when she succeeded in repelling it, the damage had already been done. Her mind was split, giving her an element of instability and insanity, and she was soon after locked away in a mental hospital because of this. It took researchers time to figure out that her condition was of supernatural origin, and not just a case of someone going insane for whatever reason. She began to visit healers while others were in high school and living normal lives, but didn't have luck putting herself back together. She still heard voices. The spirits were still malevolent towards her.

While in another mental hospital in London, Candace attempted to take her own life using broken glass. She didn't get far in her attempt, and when her family gathered to offer her support, she begged her cousin Beatrice Leclerc to let her into the Cadet Program. Sure, she wasn't the most stable person, but she could carry her weight in battle and she had potential to learn and grow. And so reluctantly, the request was granted, and Candace gained a reason to stay around a little longer. She arrived quietly at the Cadet Program, with few knowing her true ancestry and her ties to some of the most famous metahumans ever... She was never one of them, unfortunately. She was just the weird girl who looked like a boy, who was suffering by no fault of her own.

BTw, these two can totally also be Collective. Simply wasn't sure if they'd fit with the apparently more Anarchist theme I got from Rush's vision of the Collective. Though the Third Order part of their apps remains. If you decide to make them Collective, just have 'em switch orgs recently. And yes, I am a major Relic of War fan.

Brief Biography: Hanna was born to a Swiss-German family in the swiss Canton of Oberwalden. Just living up there on the alm, tending to the cows of her father and having a happy, joyful life far removed from the horrors and wonders of this world. But eventually all little girls grow up, grow rebellious and want to see the world. And it was the same forHanna which really wanted to go to Geneva and see the Guardians. Why? Oh, well, her parents didn't know but as she had found out through personal observation and some testing on the cows, she was no entirely normal child, no, she definitely had strange powers. And because she absolutely idolized Captain Canada and in a way also identified with her for from the few results she had received from her experiments, their powers seemed rather similar. Her parents however knew how bad the big cities could be for such a naive and idealistic girl such as herself. Hadn't they found each other because both of their hopes had been shattered in the city too? But there was no stopping Hanna, especcially once she demonstrated just how little they could do to oppose her wish.

In Geneva, Hanna decided to first check out the city, experience it a little and observe the Guardians from a closer point of view just to check them out because even though she had been so adamant on joining them when she left her home, now so close before her goal all that had driven her towards this goal had vanished and she suddenly wanted to postpone things for as long as possible. But you know, you don't get to live in Geneva for free and since she had broken off contact to her parents due to their rather violent parting, she didn't have much money. At first she tried to be a vigilante and make some money that way. Not just in Geneva of course but also in surrounding cities. But she soon noticed that this job brought little income and she was often injured for regardless of her powers, she was not particularly skilled at using them. And when she was once again sitting in a cheap bar, covered in cheap and dirty bandages and taking her painkillers while watching TV, she always saw her idol, Captain Canada, fighting supervillains there. Saw her taking one beating after another. And yet, there she appeared on the camera again and again, always clean, always in fresh clothes. It was frustrating, this massive gap, this difference between them even though she thought of them to be the same.

Eventually admiration turned to envy, love into hatred, fangirling into cracking her knuckles and strangling motions. She let go off the life as a vigilante and slowly sank away into the criminal underground.And there, in the Underground she eventually had to end up with the Third Order. And honestly, now that she had sunken so low, it almost felt like a bitter irony to sign up with the exact opposite of the organisation she initially wanted to sign up with. But it had a certain appeal that she could not deny. Apart from finally receiving first grade equipment, finally having some real living space, more secure payment, showers whenever she wanted, she could now also start going up against he object of hatred: Captain Canada. Usually Captain Canada fought with the Guardians or had some way to call them to back her up if necessary, but now with the Third Order she had the means to meet the Guardians in the field or just make sure Captain Canada and the Guardians would be separated. However, once she was with the Collective, she had to be shaped into a more useful waepon. Sure, she had learned a lot by doing in the years she had spent as both a vigilante and an enforcer in the criminal underworld in and around Switzerland but that was by far not enough to go up against the well trained Captain Canada. Hard training followed.

The following decade saw her assigned to the command of Haegler, who had her act as his most trusted agent in the field, as his most trusted secretary to do whatever he needed her to do and of course as his bodyguard. Honestly, pretty degrading to someone like her and she voiced her disapproval both verbally and physically. Meanwhile her commander voiced his disapproval about her methods and fighting style, degrading them to brutish acts of nothing but strength and speed. You can guess who won that engagement between them. Haegler was experienced in reigning in unruly members of the Third Order and he also had a ton of henchmen to back him up. He had her disciplined. And then had combat teachers teach her elegance and manners befitting to someone who'd be his secretary.

Over the following years, she clashed regularly with the Guardians while carrying out missions under Haegler's command. He was intelligent enough to let her go at weaker and separeted Guardians first. He wanted her to get some more fighting experience of actual fights with superheroes. And once he deemed her to be ready, he did not have her retreat anymore if Captain Canada was in sight. No, from then on, clashes between the two would become more common. Hanna was eager to fight Beatrice and revelled in every single fight she had with her, often also liking to taunt her with insults and other things. But she was a disciplined dog kept on a leash by Haegler. And when he did not like the course of a fight/situation, he usually had her withdraw before any real victory could be achieved by either fighter. Still Hanna is yearning to crush Captain Canada and she is optimistic. She is younger than Beatrice and even just by a few years, she hoped that Beatrice's body would start degrading sooner than hers, so that she could achieve her victory. But that was just the hidden thoughts she had, the gnawing doubt that she will never manage to beat Captian Canada fair and square and will have to wait untill she gets weaker. A true victory would be much preferred.

Equipment: Usually a sidearm in a holster on his belt and an army knife hidden his boots.

Abilities: Good organiser and manager, fairly good tactician and motivator as well.

Brief Biography: Yeah, I'm lazy. A closet totalitarianist, Dietrich grew up disliked by everyone else and was socially pretty awkward. That of course only made his development worse and he fled into totalitarianist nostalgia and military history. When he finally finished german Gymnasium (High School equivalent but for intelligent kids) where he had been mobbed by everyone for being weird and managed to escape the watchful eyes of his parents, he went straight into the criminal underground. He had no powers, no money, no nothing. But what all those fancy superheroes and supervillains liked to forget was, that while they may do the very public work which usually got into all the news, there were countless other smaller guys working to make things go as smoothly as possible for them and to realise their plans. And it was here that Dietrich started his career. Initially as a mere grunt, he caught the eye of his superiors for working harder than the others and constantly spamming them with proposals over how to organise things more effectively. His immediate superiors weren't happy as he was pretty much telling them that they were shit so they ignored it and only worsened the conditions he was working in. That eventually lead to horrible scars and other marks on his face so he decided to start wearing a gas mask.

But he was in luck. Some of his proposals reached the superiors of his superiors and they saw his value and promoted him while knocking his superiors down a peg. And that's pretty much how he rose through the ranks. Always pissing off his direct superiors and appealing to their superiors. Not exactly a strategy to become particularly well liked among his men but it did supply him with a nice position eventually and with his new plans things went much more smoothly for the Villanous Orders. But he started fearing for his life. He had pissed off so many of his subordinates, it didn't take a genius to figure out that some would come for him. Hence why he was very happy when he received a new and very capable agent from the command, from the top supervillains of the Third Order. He had that girl named Hanna stay around him as much as possible at first for he didn't know when his subordinates would strike at him. He made her his secretary officially and inofficially also his bodyguard. Now, he hadn't spread word of her identity and powers among his subordinates and thus the attack eventually came...only to find that he had a surprisingly skilled secretary to deal with the trash they were.

Anyway, with his position secured, he now turned to his secretary who had understandably grown tired of her lowly post. Of course he understood her and also wanted to use her in the field but disobedience was something he could not tolerate. He wanted the machine of henchmen to be well oiled and disobedience was like sand between the gears. And so he had her disciplined and while he was at it, also had her improve on her style. As his secretary and a future counter to Captain Canda, she had some standards to live up to afterall.

Anyway, yeah, many years, fighting the Guardians. Spread Evil. Do Evil. Send his Secretary on missions etc. I'm pretty tired by now cuz it's late...
