Anyways, I just saw Coco, another very heartwarming flick.

It was funny but also emotional, I love films like that. I actually cried a bit. Coco is also pretty great.

Watched Yellow Submarine for the second time. That film is still amazing.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi for the second time. I enjoyed some of the scenes more but found that the movie's biggest weakness is that it doesn't know what it wants.

The Shape of Water

I didn't think this movie was Oscar-worthy. It's a relatively cliché idea dragged out with a bunch of unnecessary and disturbing scenes. Something about it also came off as pretentious.

The previews of the new Grinch movie looks good, it could be promising. My only main issue is the voice. Someone who doesn't sound close to or similar to the late Thurl Ravenscroft isn't a Grinch I can get behind. You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch, was that good. It holds up. This doesn't look like it can. The strongest thing going for it is the animation. I'm impressed by it. For now however, I can't say whether it'll really be good or not.

Black Panther really surprised me on how good it is. Watching it in 3D was definitely worth my 9 bucks for the ticket.

Pretty good, aside from the animation difference from the show to the movie

Very weird concept that.

I'll see if it shows here.

As for a movie that I've seen for the first time, I just saw "Saving Private Ryan" for the first time.

As for most recent rewatch, I rewatched "Cars 3" with my siblings recently.

The Greatest Showman

In musicals, I normally like the music but don't care for the story as much. In this case, I didn't like the music but I liked the story.

Wonder

Such a down-to-earth movie. I liked how it displayed different characters' perspectives. And I also seem to be having a trend where I watch movies about "freaks" trying to be accepted by society, so I'll probably try to continue that as long as I can. :p

How was Saving Private Ryan?

Just watched the entire Dark Knight Trilogy back to back. Still holds up.

Alright, maybe not with the weird ending ofThe Dark Knight Rises, but it's still awesome.

I just saw Black Panther and thought it was fantastic. It makes me sad that there aren't more movies with a mainly black cast.
