YOUTH FOOTBALL
Olimpo on top but for how long? - Hinodejin Youth Football Preview
Article written by Grand Royal High School student Aiko Sakuraba

It's with a slice of sadness that I write this article. My school was relegated in heart-breaking fashion while Chaolan Zaibatsu remained a top team for this season. Alas, while the illustrious Grand Royal High School prepares for the Division One, twenty sides from all the Hinodejin Empire prepare to duel for the prize of being the best youth football team in the nation. Who'll win? Check this preview to learn everything about what each team has done in preparation for this season!

Image
ALOHA HEIWASHIMA
Honoshima, Heiwashima
Aloha Heiwashima didn't do much last season, reaching a twelveth spot and spending most of the season in the lowlights with most pointing out how defensive-minded teams can struggle at leagues with such goal rates like the All-Hinodejin Youth Football League. The team might be looking into a more succesful affair this season as the Kobayashi twins Hanae and Airi will possibly serve as the helping hands Maryuu Nitta needed so much last season. The defence remains mostly the same, Odo Cazal at the net with Maki, Hitomi and Shimizu still acting as the defensive hounds of the squad while foreign newcomers Aloha and Jefferson Sanabria help out in the offensive half.

Image
BEIBEI SHOPPING MALL'S NEKOJIN YFC
Beibireiji, Ume-Aburana
Access Division 1D's champions, the Mallcats saw off their competition last season thanks to the twin sisters Yi and Yui Mei. Building on this, their scouts brought up a very respectable starting line-up with Keiko Nyitsui at the net, Noriko Amui and Mii Mii at the defence, Shina Tatsui serving as the middle cat and Shizumi Tsushishi adding to the firepower of this squad. A purrfect team, if you will.

Image
CHAOLAN ZAIBATSU
Hiun, Kameria
A decrease in the expenses from Chaolan Zaibatsu's owned club Isla Bassa Unicorns sees this particular club improve by a mile. Recruitment brought in three pieces that could help Chaolan Zaibatsu this season, strong centre-back Phirun Chey, swift left-back Dana Alinejad and a very promising midfielder Tu Kun Huang out of the former Kowloon. Last season's survivors from the relegation battle are still there, hoping to be far away from relegation this time around. The international window also brought Daineri defender Talitha and Audioslavian centre-forward duo Finaly McCloud and Ortzi Ariztegi.

Image
GERUDO TRADING COMPANY FC
Mui, Tentai
Getruco's squadron rose some eyebrows last season when Linkan Pihanka singlehandedly pushed up the team to a respectable tenth position. The company, however, saw that this team had potential and chose to bring several of their kind to strengthen the squad. Areke Shinra has been brought in to play keeper and has been rumoured to have quick reflexes, Kanii sisters Tugone and Mookeosi are midfielders with tons of flair while Narus Aldebaaran is the most promising name this team has. Audioslavian centre-forward Victor Collar also happens to be in this squad, being the first ever foreign player this team ever featured. This also will be the last season for Ayuru Furishi, who now prepares to go to college and this Gerudo striker plans to strike this out hard with a bang.

Image
GET WELL SOON UNITED NAITOGARU NURSERY
Hinode, Somei-Yoshino
The Nurses are back with vengeance, their more violent style is slowly but surely forgotten as they seem to have figured out they are a proper football team. Two very promising talents have joined the squad such as the uncompromising defensive midfielder Mami Watanabe and tactical aware centre midfielder Tina Mimikawa. Notably, the Nurses have brought in Satyr forward and usually very cheery personality Mackenzie Flowers and a foreigner in male defensive midfielder Vasya Kravec. The goal here is to repeat their 9th place slot.

Image
KAZAMA ALL-SCHOOLS FC
Kazama, Himawari
If there's one team that couldn't be angrier over the results last season, it has to be Kazama All-Schools, who fell from being the champions to barely end over two teams that fought a relegation battle. This being Kazama, they had the advantage to luck out with the promising forward Rina Itou, the all-purpose midfielder, tactically aware and noted hardworker Satoru Inagusei plus opportunist offensive midfielder Momoko Tsukuda. Following a lot of hearfelt talks, the team's keeper might've also helped Momoko Ichibonji think more for the team, which would be very helpful if they are to go for a respectable result this time around.

Image
KOHEI CHERRY VILLA HS
Kohei, Nekori
The Cherries are one of the schools that have joined a campaign to work against school hooliganism, an apparent result of the Empire's over-extension. This means that along with legit prospect Seong Mi-Na return for another season, they brought a quartet of former hooligans, with centre-back Park Jong-Suk being the more infamous of these with rumours of violence against members of a rival school from the province being already an incident. The other hooligans such as midfielder Jung Han-Ho, promising striker Lee Kang-Hyun and scarred but strong side-mid Jin Ha seem to know more or less what this whole thing is about, so they could do well if they're able to hold Jong-Suk back from descending into his hooligan ways.

Image
KOSHU DRAGON GUARD HS
Koshu, Nishikoku
The Project against Hooliganism sent a pack of former Hooligans to the most controlling of all high-schools (to the stage of infamy) in the Empire, thus causing the "paragons of justice" such as Kim Dong-Hwan and Kim Jae-Hoon to deal with what has been nicknamed as the "Nam-Gong Gang", with very promising captain Gun Nam-Gong at the top and players such as sympathetic Kim Tae-Min as the goalie and striker Son Seo-Ho in front. Min Sun-Wong and Jeung So-Don complete the midfield.

Image
MAKU TRADING GUILD FC
Maku, Mikashu
The Mikashu-based outfit didn't have the best of seasons last time around and the team hasn't really improved between seasons, retaining sole major name being Gerudo striker Gotafu Hakufu, owner of one of the meanest shots in town while the team hopes Zsombor Dallal-Allam, an Eastfield Lodge-based striker can help things out. MTG plans to be a dangerous team to face, although the lack of talent really makes one ponder if they'll be able to deliver.

Image
MASHU ELITE HS
Mashu, Somei-Yoshino
The Elites finally showed their stuff last season, rubbing shoulders against the Empire's best and managing a very respectable fourth place. To top it all off, they lucked out in their recruiting class: Takehiko Ueda should complement Shunmaru Tenryu in the back, Makoto Honda and Teku Santen serve as very competent coadjuvants to Bunjiro Ichida, Ume Shimizu serving as the team's playmaker on the wings. Notably, two non-human students have joined the squad, Gerudo Imui Akimenagi and Hylian Teku Santen. If there's a team that made a lot of progress with a simple scouting process, it's this one.

Image
MISUTIKKU-ISEKI DIAMOND MINERS
Misutikku-Iseki, Kameria
Access Division 1C champions with an impecable defence thanks to Thimiscles Seanclair at the net, the Miners prepare themselves for a competition that clearly is head and shoulders above them, were the team to retain their style from last time around. To counter this, they managed to bring in three very promising players, all of the three having severe caveats to them. Raizen Saikyomono suffers from a severe case of weakness physically speaking, but is capable of doing much as is. Mukuro Hogo is an overly shy powerhouse player while Yomi Yurushi has terrible eyesight but remains one of the finest tactical minds for his age. Foreigners Areck (a Daineri defender) and Janelle Brembes-Barrel (an Eastfielder left wing) hope to bring additional firepower for this team.

Image
PROJECT OLIMPO JUTSII
Athena, Jutsii
The real tale of the season for the champions is whether or not they'll be able to repeat their succesful run in an even harder season without their star players. Gitonga Kahara, last season's Golden Ball is no longer playing at the Pantheon, having moved abroad to continue his career and the team itself chose to work on what was already there. Ava Rose Donaldson and Adam Keill followed suit. This might be the perfect opportunity for some of Olimpo's homegrown talent, such as Minna Furuzaka and Akamaru Horui. On top of that, a Cenian and three Audioslavian rookies have joined the club. Hinodejin scouts look with interest towards these three youth although the names are a bit off.

Image
ROYAL MUSIC YOUTH ACADEMY
Linshu, Hiyena
The Orchestra's respectable 7th place for a team not predicted to do much fell well on their laps. The sole major newcomer is one Piroska Kelemen, out of the former Kingdom of Hungary, a center-midfielder with a lot of spunk. They're looking towards repeating last season's unexpectedly good results but not much.

Image
ROYAL THEATER PREPARATORY HS
Kaito, Mikashu
Chen Zexi and the Artists remain one of the teams to beat in all of the Hinodejin Youth League and with very good reason. The team's star is already two seasons away from playing professionally, according to himself, with the only thing on his mind being a league title. To that account, they brought in Five Styles specialist center midfielder Jian Chan and quick left-back Yang Xun, strengthening an already powerful team. Opponents beware.

Image
SARIA GREENS FC
Saria, Luna-Saria
To counter the beliefs that the Greens would again fail to impress in the league, the team unvealed what they like to call "Kokiri Generation 1", four young Hylians that have been personally scouted by Project Olimpo but chose to not join the team: center-mid Roshi Covaena, keeper Iroha Irei, right-back Phambea Namura and the most notable of these, left-back/offensive-mid hybrid Tambaru Matsuda. Lubna Deane was also brought in during the window from Eastfield Lodge, serving as the offensive midfielder the club so desperately needs. Will Cienne Wu and the Kokiris make the difference at Luna-Saria?

Image
SENSO-SHUKUJO LADIES HS
Senso-Shukujo, Tsutsuji
SSLHS was not pleased over last season's disastrous 15th place run and properly chewed out everyone involved, including the Takashima sisters. Three new promising girls have arrived from the most recent class that joined the High School: offensive maestro Kang Min-Seo, very opportunistic second striker Yumi Moto and ethic powerhouse keeper Anh Huýnh.

Image
SOUTHERN IRONWORKS GIRLS
Tamani, Turanitai
The Ironworks are in the middle of a crossroad: in one hand, they have seen a lot of success over their legacy of an all-goblin team. Alas, the team doesn't plan to avoid this switch. Several girls join this team thanks to a retirement of last season's squad: Suzu Inouye, Aira Yahiro and Hatsuka Mitsue form the defensive trio, Mikazuki Sawano is the team's new keeper and Sadako Takeshita plays offensive mid. The front does see a Goblin girl as well, Iyu Knarusha playing as the second striker. The Ironworkers could be on the up, funnily enough.

Image
SO-NYA NEKOJIN ACADEMY
Sonyan-kon, Minakoku
Access Division 1A champions, the Academy of Catgirls showed what they were made of, producing a star in Myunjiko Karasu. Building up on this, they brought up Uriko Nonomura, a Zoanthrope that almost signed up with fellow top tier team Zeppelin Foundation, only to turn it down at the last second. Madoka Takeda, Taji Mishida and Moe Saitama are also new, promising pieces of this team. It might be too much for the Cats to chew, but So-Nya has hope.

Image
ZEPPELIN FOUNDATION
Daiyawayasu, Somei-Yoshino
Access Division 1B champions and often pointed out to be quite the shady team for such a clean cut Foundation, led by Shisaru Zeperin, the ever so charismatic and talented heir to the Foundation's actual business side. They've built up quite the reputation for being a team of oddballs: Dawn Shiranui, Alice Tsukagami, Bakuryu Nobutatsu, Yugo Ogami, Libby Bowles and Reymundo Richardson are the notable rookies joining this squad. Expect the Zeppelin to do more than people would imagine.

Image
ZORA YOUTH FC
Kamitenabaru, Burakuriri
Last season's third placers arrive in an even higher standing this season, planning to take the title home for the first time ever and, in the process, bring respect to the very good but usually overlooked team. Karen Itomiko retains the position of team captain while the acrobatic Keve Ilenikos takes over the keeper role. Pato Epaneje promises to be a headache for running offences and Aruyi Fanoluma looks towards being the new top striker in the league. The Zora are back with vengeance.

With all that said, there's also the lower divisions, which we'll give a proper look at, just so everyone knows what goes down there as well.

ALL-HINODEJIN YOUTH FOOTBALL DIVISION 1
An interesting tier with several notable teams that failed to reach the top and last season's bottom four Football League teams. Arctic Dream Shopping Mall YFC proudly brought up Kyoshi Matsumoto and Momoko Yamada to strengthen the team's offence in a bid for a slot at the top tier, Bolt Travelling saw fit to replace their keeper with promising teenager Arata Yamaguchi while Abbaas Buchan was brought from his homeland Eastfield Lodge and have many eyes over them. Hanada City HS' future might be on the upwards as the family's star Nina Nishikawa has officially lined-up for High School action, her smarts and crafts being possibly what Hanada City needs to bounce back. Luna Wanderers and Grand Royal HS remain mostly the same, although the Wanderers no longer have Mara Shijo who headed out towards a professional career. The Gears from Miishima Poly got a major upgrade with the Mishima brothers Takuma and Saito playing up front together with Sadaharu. Newcomers Speedwagon Foundation brought two players from the colonies as Kage-Hinodejin Taka Mashunikawa and Kage-Kuban Nana Maryuu Shizumi join them for this season. Toadstool Enterprises and Keijo Dairy retain the services of their foreign players as Mariota Gachet and Rwana Qet still have some time left to play at the Hinodejin Youth system. Predictions are hard here.

ALL-HINODEJIN YOUTH FOOTBALL DIVISION 2
The Division 2 feature some interesting players, such as Yesopalithan keeper Erard Jeannin (Ainushima Surfing Club), Chromatik right-back Hahewisa Ballesdens (Berinii Steelworks), Chromatik left-mid Hersent Bernier (Hikata Media Group), Yesoaplithan striker Mikhail Istanhill (Kodoryo Underground Metroway), Chromatik centre-back Iuetta Robillard and Yesopalithan centre-back Tana Kiln (Lady Shinagayama Delicacies & Deliveries), Chromatik right-wing Huguelin Levitt (Marine Shipping and Travel), Hinodejin offensive-mid Marion Rosetta and Yesopalithan centre-mid Patrice Irone (Mui Cosmetics). Odds are between Berinii, Mui and Lady Shinagayama, but do not be surprised if someone else takes the title instead. The fourth promotion slot also remains a mystery.

ALL-HINODEJIN YOUTH FOOTBALL DIVISION 3
Not a Division of many notable teams, the fourth tier might have the title end up with the respectable Rakun Police Preparatory HS although other institutions such as the Kikushima Ladies HS, the Raimon Central HS and actual clubs such as Shira Region Fever and Senatori Social Club might give them a run for the title. The division is clearly... there, but there's not a lot to talk about.

ALL-HINODEJIN YOUTH FOOTBALL DIVISION 4
A Division formed by the worst teams from the Access Divisions from last season and many invited teams, most eyes lay on the Tsushike Little Foxes and Valérie Rose, an internet celebrity known mostly for her clothes blog. Besides that, you have several teams responsible for players that would later represent the National Team, so there's that.

Additionally, this season presents a Domestic Youth Cup, the All-Hinodejin Youth Cup, featuring teams from all five tiers of the league. Hopefully, you'll get your fit of football this spring. See you later and have fun!

NOTABLE GAMES
MD 1 - Aloha Heiwashima 0; Zora Youth FC 3 - The Zoras chose to start in style, with goals from Pato Epaneje and Aruyi Fanoluma (twice) to hammer the Heiwashima team. While Aloha pondered exactly what went wrong with their respected squadron, the Zoras waited with glee for the next big match.
MD 1 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 3; Southern Ironworks Girls 0 - The Unicorns promised to raise hell in their first game and managed to leave home fans impressed with a 3-0 win at the Combot Compound. Lala Safari's diving header managed to scrap two goals against the Ironworkers with Sawano taking most of the blame for the failure.
MD 1 - Gerudo Trading Company FC 2; So-Nya Nekojin Academy 1 - The Nekojins' debut saw the Illustrious Academy lose against Getruco in a duel notable for the flair involved. Mookeosi Kanii put the Nekojins to the ground while Myunjiko Karasu gave fans a glance at how good she was with So-Nya's first ever goal on the top.
MD 1 - Kazama All-Schools FC 2; Saria Greens FC 0 - In a rainy afternoon at Kazama, the duel of Greens saw newcomer Rina Itou netting a goal from a fine assist by hometown legend-in-the-making Momoko Ichibonji while another newcomer, Momoko Tsukuda managed to dribble her way into the net.
MD 1 - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 1; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1 - Chen Zexi and company stumbled out of the gate, dropping points in the final minutes of the match as Jin Ha managed to net a screamer, granting the Cherries their first point of the season against some major opposition.
MD 1 - Maku Trading Guild FC 3; Project Olimpo Jutsii 0 - In a game featuring last season's champions, Gotafu Hakufu made herself known loud and clear with a hat-trick against a scrambling Olimpo squad. Players of Project Olimpo Jutsii failed to find justification regarding their loss, hoping it to be just a bad day.
MD 1 - Mashu Elite HS 2; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 1 - The clash between one of last season's finest and a newcomer side saw the Diamond Miners stand up but fail to draw against the Elite, newbie Tsunemon Kyorutaki scoring the one that would push the Mashu team over their opponents.
MD 2 - Zora Youth FC 2; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 1 - Once again, the Diamond Miners put up a fight but not quite enough to topple the Zoras. Aruyi Fanoluma quickly found herself on the hunt for the top scorer award.
MD 2 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 2; Mashu Elite 2 - At the Pantheon, Project Olimpo found their first point of the season by drawing against the Elites. Myozan Namezono was clearly at fault, both goals coming from a severe lack of attention of the keeper. Athena Inagusame made a case for her team's hopes in the tournament by nailing both of those goals.
MD 2 - Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 1 - A very evenly matched duel as the flair football from the Artists couldn't do anything against the former Hooligans. Gun Nam-Gong's first game as a starter saw him act as a leader for the Dragon Guard.
MD 2 - Zeppelin Foundation 3; Chaolan Zaibatsu 0 - Mood whiplash in full effect as the Unicorns got rolled over by legacy player Dawn Shiranui, foreign midfielder Libby Bowles and zoanthrope star Yugo Ogami.
MD 3 - Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 2; Zora Youth FC 0 - Coming off from a win over Aloha Heiwashima, the Mallcats kept their standards with a solid win against a group of surprised Zoras. The star of the Mei twins shone on the field, the two very responsible for the win.
MD 3 - Chaolin Zaibatsu 1; Aloha Heiwashima 0 - Finlay McCloud's lone screamer was enough to put the Unicorns back on track while Aloha picked up the scraps. Insecurity at Heiwashima starts to show its' ugly head as the team remain one of two teams without a single point.
MD 3 - Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 2; Southern Ironwork Girls 1 - The Nurses manage to overcome the Ironworkers in impressive fashion. Seeing Kravec and Kitagawa sent off midway through the bout, Tina Mimikawa made the most of it, scoring a screamer to keep the nurses afloat their opposition.
MD 3 - Kazama All-Schools FC 4; So-Nya Nekojin Academy 0 - The Greens from Himawari make short work of the Nekojin Academy. Rina Itou and Momoko Ichibonji remain on the same page, spurring the All-Schools combination squad towards isolated leadership of the tournament on its' early rounds.
MD 3 - Maku Trading Guild FC 2; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 3 - MTG put up a noble fight against the Artists, but failed to beat them in the very end, Chen Zexi scoring a late minute goal after dribbling out three players to guarantee the Artists their first win of the season.
MD 3 - Mashu Elite HS 0; Royal Music Youth Academy 2 - A shocker at the Downtown Mashu Complex saw Lorelei Komatsu smirk after scoring two goals against one of the most notable sides of the country.
MD 3 - Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 0; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - Olimpo finally found themselves with a win after Athena Inagusame scored a goal in the first half and the defence did most of the deal.
MD 4 - Zora Youth FC 1; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - With Trin Toarinat, Athena Inagusame and last-minute entrant Jimmy McCarthy, the team from the Pantheon managed to draw a point against one of the leading teams of the season so far.
MD 4 - So-Nya Nekojin Academy 3; Kokei Cherry Villa HS 2 - Starlet Uriko Nonomura proved to be the player of the match as the Cherries lacked enough firepower to even leave with a point from the SNNA Grounds. Also notable for the first ever tail goal of the league, courtesy of Myunjiko Karasu.
MD 4 - Zeppelin Foundation 4; Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 2 - The Nurses failed to outmuscle Bakuryu Nobutatsu and Yugo Ogami, who just picked the opponents apart. It's still notable that Hinata Kitagawa managed to sneak in two goals for the Nurses.
MD 5 - Chaolin Zaibatsu 0; Zora Youth FC 1 - Aruyi Fanoluma's lone goal was enough to put the Zoras back together on their quest for the trophy at the expense of the Unicorns at the Combot Compound.
MD 5 - Kazama All-Schools FC 1; Zeppelin Foundation 3 - Dawn Shiranui played what had to be her best game up to this point and the Fancy Ones find themselves at the top of the table. Rina Itou's lone goal wasn't enough compensation for the Greens though.
MD 5 - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 3; Southern Ironworks Girls 0 - The Ironworkers served as punching bags for the Cherries. Seong Mi-Na, Jin Ha and Lee Kang-Hyun left each with a goal.
MD 5 - Mashu Elite HS 1; Saria Greens FC 1 - A game that was somewhat expected to be a somewhat easy win for the Elites saw Cienne Wu squeeze in a goal to push the Luna-Saria team to a draw in an almost spotless performance by the Mashu high school side.
MD 5 - Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 1; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1 - The Artists' muffled start of a season continues to underwhelm as they fail to beat the league's then-current bottom team. Chen Zexi once again did his part, scoring a goal but a header by Thimiscles Seanclair after a corner finished any hopes from the Artists netting their second win of the season.
MD 5 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 5; Royal Music Youth Academy 0 - Athena Inagusame's hat trick served as the basis of what happened to be the largest win of the season up to that point. The Band's underwhelming result wasn't well received at Hiyena, for one.
MD 6 - Zora Youth FC 3; Royal Music Youth Academy 0 - Piling up on their opponents' misfortunes, Zora Youth made a major point of their offensive star Aruyi Fanoluma as she left with a hat-trick. The Band's manager attributed the poor results on travelling fatigue.
MD 6 - Royal Theater Preparatory HS 0; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - Last season's two main forces for the top found themselves on a game that, while not as big of a deal now, would still see the rivalry that formed last time around. Sakura Tsuzumi, of all people, netted the game's sole goal.
MD 6 - Saria Greens FC 1; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 2 - After Janelle Brembes-Barrel and Mukuro Hogo's goals, the Miners finally found themselves on top for the first time of the season, officially being the last team to snag a win at the top tier. Cienne Wu's impressive goal for the Greens wasn't enough of a consolation.
MD 6 - Southern Ironworks Girls 2; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 1 - Iyu Knarusha proved herself to be the team's trooper, scoring a brace and sustaining an arm injury in the process. Her efforts were enough to push the Ironworkers off the relegation zone.
MD 6 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 1; Gerudo Trading Company FC 4 - The Unicorns' unstable form continues for the worst as Getruco failed to bother themselves with their opponents. After the game, Aruyu Furishi announced she'd be attending Gerudo College at Tentai, remaining a player for Getruco's team after all.
MD 7 - Gerudo Trading Company 1; Zora Youth FC 3 - The Zoras continue to mow through the competition, this time slamming Getruco at their home. Prolific striker Aruyi Fanoluma again makes her contribution to the cause.
MD 7 - Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 4; Chaolan Zaibatsu 1 - A duel between two teams that fail to maintain their form sees the Unicorns get slammed hard by the Nurses at Somei-Yoshino. Mackenzie Flowers and Vasya Kravec made the difference, both scoring twice while Finlay McCloud left his one for the Zaibatsu.
MD 7 - Kazama All-Schools FC 4; Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 0 - The Greens failed to take any notice of the Mallcats at Kazama, Momoko Ichibonji having a game for the ages. This meant that Kazama would lead the league before the Cup break.
MD 7 - Koshu Dragon Guard HS 0; Zeppelin Foundation 1 - A header by Alice Tsukagami pushed Zeppelin Foundation above the Dragon Guard. Notably, players of the Dragon Guard HS, including team's captain Gun Nam-Gong complained to the referee that the rabbit zoanthrope had hit the keeper with her tail on the way up, but complaints were to no avail.
MD 7 - Mashu Elite HS 0; So-Nya Nekojin Academy 1 - A critical mistake by Takehiko Ueda was enough to give the Nekojin Academy three very handy points.
MD 7 - Royal Music Youth Academy 2; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 4 - The first duel of the season between two Royal Academies saw the Artists make the best of their chances and topple the Musicians with quality results.
YCFR - Project Olimpo Jutsii 2; Museion Spikers HS 1 - Jimmy McCarthy's lone goal was enough to save the Olimpo squad from embarrassment against the girls from invited school Museion Spikers, guaranteeing them a spot in the Second Round.
YCFR - Mashu Elite HS 6; Kibominami Great Horn HS 1 - The Elite ran over a surprise invited side from the continent of Africa in Kibominami Great Horn HS, a single goal by the Colonials being the sole thing the team from the Cape of Good Hope could talk of.
YCFR - Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 0; West Mashu Corona Girls HS 1 - A shocker in Hinode saw the West Mashu side squeeze against top-tier competition. Vasya Kravec and Hinata Kitagawa's red cards might've had to do with that.
YCFR - Aloha Heiwashima 1; Igajima Sengoku HS 2 - Undeterred by the weather and their opponents, the Shinobi found themselves on top of their notable opponents.
YCFR - So-Nya Nekojin Academy 5; East Mashu Gloria All-Girls HS 3 - An eight-goal festival between invitees from Somei-Yoshino East Mashu Gloria All-Girls HS and eventual survivor Nekojin Academy, featuring a hat trick by Taji Mishida, the Nekojin's centre mid.
MD 8 - Zora Youth FC 2; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1 - The Zoras prove their status once again via edging out the Artists by a single goal. Chan Zexi publicly complains to the media about the team's poor form this season.
MD 8 - Senso-Shukujo Ladies HS 2; Project Olimpo Jutsii 2 - Olimpo finds itself near the top of the table, but fails to capitalize, drawing against relegation candidates Senso-Shukujo. The Takashima twins enjoy one of their finest performances ever.
MD 8 - Aloha Heiwashima 2; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 3 - Aloha's misfortunes continue as the team fails to get a win at home, this time against the more respectable Koshu Dragon Guard HS. The team of Gun Nam-Gong, the justice talons of the Kim twins and Son Seo-Ho up front now find themselves near the ceiling.
MD 8 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 3; Kazama All-Schools FC 1 - The Unicorns' erratic behaviour helps out in the end and the team squeezes through former leader Kazama. The game is notable for the first ever use of the "trident" offence, where an improvised Ortzi Ariztegi at the right wing, Finlay McCloud up front and Bossu Piaget at the left prove too deadly against Momoko Ichibonji's side.
MD 8 - Southern Ironworks Girls 1; Mashu Elite HS 1 - Another defensive blunder catches the Elite after their severe drumming in the Youth Cup's First Round and they fail to capitalize against the disappointing Southern Ironworks.
MD 8 - Gerudo Trading Company FC 1; Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 2 - Without both Vasya Kravec and Hinata Kitagawa, the Nurses scramble their way to a win against a clearly stronger Getruco squad, all thanks to Mackenzie Flowers' opportunism at the left side of the field.
MD 9 - Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 1; Zora Youth FC 1 - Momentum from the win against Getruco push the Nurses forward and they surprise the league's leaders with a well-built draw. Mackenzie Flowers is again the name of the match.
MD 9 - Kazama All-Schools FC 0; Gerudo Trading Company FC 1 - With Victor Collar's screamer from the outside of the box, Getruco gets revenge from the last matchday while messing up the quest of the Greens from Kazama.
MD 9 - Mashu Elite HS 2; Zeppelin Foundation 1 - A key victory for the Elites as they dispatch the Zeppelin back home, a fantastic aerial 1-2 deal between Imui Akimenagi and Teku Santen being just enough to guarantee the team from Mashu a very needed win.
MD 10 - Zora Youth FC 0; Saria Greens FC 2 - The plucky team from Saria manages to do what seemed impossible for them, drag out a win at the Zora Kingdom. The image of Cienne Wu celebrating together with her teammates after a fantastic free kick shot that found the net with relative ease quickly became a memory of this season.
MD 10 - Senso-Shukujo Ladies HS 2; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1 - The Ladies of War had a hard job at home, having to face an erratic but still respectable Royal Theater Prep. HS team... and they did it. Kang Min-Seo and Yumi Moto, two of the team's new players were capable of bringing down Chen Zexi and the Artists.
MD 10 - Southern Ironworks Girls 1; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - Sadly, for the Olimpo, a game that would be key towards putting them on top like last season ended in a draw after Kira Nishigakira's shot wasn't saved by Michael Napier after a hard collision against the Hinodejin striker.
MD 10 - Aloha Heiwashima 1; Mashu Elite HS 1 - Again, Mashu Elite fails to capitalize on a poor-playing team and leaves Heiwashima with a single point. This time, however, Odo Cazal and Kasumi Hitomi managed to save the team from suffering another goal, as hard as the Elite tried.
MD 10 - Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 1; Kazama All-Schools FC - Again, the Nurses squeeze a draw against one of the finest teams of the season. The reliance on Mackenzie Flowers is even clearer now, although Vasya Kravec did manage to leave the field with some contribution to the result.
MD 11 - Kazama All-Schools FC 1; Zora Youth FC 1 - A game where both teams needed a win to keep hold of the top saw neither really accomplish much. Ichibonji and Fanoluma both did their part in the game, but the rest was mostly a landlock contest, without much to push through.
MD 11 - Kohei Cherry Villa HS 1; Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 1 - The Nurses did their job, once again holding a more competent team down to a draw. Seong Mi-Na's side found it hard to go through the Nurses' defence, a good job done by Mackenzie Flowers while Tina Mimikawa found them a goal at the start. Jin Ha thankfully tied things down for the Cherries.
MD 11 - Mashu Elite HS 3; Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 0 - Mashu's hopes for an end of their poor run found a birthplace at the game against the Mallcats, where the old Mashu stalwarts played like last season's Mashu, ranging from Namezono's crazy blocks, Date Nagasaki reaching terminal speed in the middle of the field and Ikki Tokei being Ikki Tokei.
MD 11 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Zeppelin Foundation 3 - The Zeppelin was simply too much for a tired Project Olimpo team with Libby Bowles at a surprising top-tier showing. The Eastfield Lodge-based midfielder managed to net a hat-trick, a first from a player from those lands in the league.
YCSR - Senso-Shukujo Ladies HS 0; Royal Dragontamer Academy 1 - Things just don't go the way of the Ladies of War and after barely squeezing through invitees Atene Kaminari HS, Division 2 side Royal Dragontamer Academy makes it through to the next round.
YCSR - Mashu Elite HS 5; Mui Cosmetics 0 - The Elite once again take a team to Mashu and leaves nothing but goals. This time around, Tentai-based Mui Cosmetics couldn't even muster a single goal. Notably, but Marion Rosetta and Patrice Irone had to miss the game due to suspensions obtained at the third tier but still, a poor showing from Mui.
YCSR - Project Olimpo Jutsii 4; Choji Lumber Mill Company 0 - Facing Division 3 then second placers Choji Lumber, Olimpo leaves a way better impression than last time around, running over their opponents without much care.
YCSR - Bolt Travelling 1; Nyonbai Royal Star HS 0 - Responsible for the goal of the round, Abbaas Buchan's bicycle kick was what guaranteed Division 1 middling side Bolt Travelling a trip to Jutsii to face Project Olimpo, while Nyonbai returns to their Division 4 affairs after lucking out on Saeunomu Mangaka Works on the First Round.
YCSR - Chaolan Zaibatsu 3; Kurogane Mining 2 - Kurogane Mining's quest for the coveted title ends as clear superior Chaolan Zaibatsu's trident offence worked to perfection in the second half.
YCSR - West Mashu Corona Girls HS 2; Uranai Holy Academy 1 - Underdogs West Mashu Corona Girls HS' trail towards the title continues as the Coronas pass over Division 2 bottom fodder Uranai Holy Academy respectably.
YCSR - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 5; Raimon Central HS 4 - The Cherries find the last goal out of nowhere to push them above lower leagues' Raimon Central HS.
YCSR - Hanada City HS 2; Nazu Rito AC 0 - Last season's relegation victims Hanada City HS continue their run, beating another weaker team by a fairly larger margin than previously (a 1-0 win against invitees Shushiko-Tonomi Twin Wings HS) with the Nishigawa twins managing to score both goals this time.
YCSR - Kinjishinrin Occult HS 1; Berinii Steelworks 0 - The Boys of the Occult ticked their passport to the next round with a tight win against Berinii Steelworks. The sole goal... was an own goal by Kouki Fukui.
YCSR - Tentai All-Schools FC 1; Speedwagon Foundation 6 - Tentai All-Schools' luck went out hard against notable side Speedwagon Foundation, the result being a 6-1 win.
YCSR - Igajima Sengoku HS 3; Wuyon Wind Leaf Leg Academy 2 - Invited team Igajima Sengoku HS found themselves with a ticket to the next round after edging out Wuyon Wind Leaf Leg Academy. The team now looks toward their duel against Misutikku-Iseki, the second top-tier team they face in this tournament.
YCSR - Maruseppu Yasei HS 1; Hatsune Records AFC 0 - Another team invited to the competition, the Wild Boys toppled fairly competitive Division 2 side Hatsune Records AFC at their home. The team now prepares to face the Artists from Royal Theater Preparatory HS.
MD 12 - Chaolin Zaibatsu 2; Mashu Elite HS 1 - In a fairly uneventful matchday (where almost all of the games ended in a draw), the Unicorns battled a rough duel to get the three points from the Elites, where a free kick goal by Talitha netted them a key win to push them off the relegation zone.
MD 13 - Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 2; Chaolin Zaibatsu 0 - Surprise third placers Misutikku-Iseki arrive in stylish fashion with the now nicknamed "Three Devas" overcoming the Unicorns' defence, although Janelle Brembes-Barrel was the one contributing with the goals.
MD 13 - Royal Theater Preparatory HS 2; Zeppelin Foundation 3 - A key game between an Artists' side that has been continuously looking for wins against the league's current leaders meant both teams worked hard for a win. Alas, Yugo Ogami's last-minute shot was enough to leave the Artists on the backburner again while the Zeppelin keeps their lead.
MD 13 - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 1; Zora Youth FC 3 - The Zoras light back up, beating the Cherries at the Joseon Plains. Aruyi Fanoluma reaches thirteen goals in thirteen matches.
MD 14 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 1; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - A battle between two of the most promising teams of the All-Hinodejin YFL sees the Unicorns tie with the Olympians at home, goals by Lala Safari and Athena Inagusame respectively.
MD 15 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Gerudo Trading Company FC 2 - Narus Aldebaaran's incredible performance was just too much for the Olimpo, who failed to take the three points at home, despite best efforts.
YCTR - Kazama All-Schools FC 4; Kairi All-Schools FC 2 - The nation's first seed found themselves on the Round of 16 after beating a fellow All-Schools style squad from Kairi.
YCTR - Royal Dragontamer Academy 1; Royal Music Youth Academy 0 - Third Division side Royal Dragontamer Academy toppled the Musicians from Hiyena, stamping their tickets to the Round of 16 in a shocker.
YCTR - Mashu Elite HS 3; Raimon Frontier HS 1 - The tale of the Boys from the Frontier, a team that was merely invited to the Cup yet managed to surpass more well-prepared sides such as Toadstool Enterprises and Usagi Sailor Star HS, reached the end against the Elites from Mashu.
YCTR - Southern Ironworks Girls 1; Tsushike Little Foxes 2 - While Raimon Frontier HS' tale finished, another team from the lower echelons of Hinodejin youth football continued as the Tsushike team made it through with goals by Valérie Rose and Amarante Deschamps.
YCTR - Project Olimpo Jutsii 2; Bolt Travelling 0 - Olimpo's ticket to the Round of 16 was finally stamped after two fine shots by Athena Inagusame.
YCTR - Chaolan Zaibatsu 1; Maku Trading Guild FC 0 - A duel between two top tier teams that hadn't been doing very highly in the league up to that point saw the Unicorns guarantee a meeting with Project Olimpo in the Round of 16 with a single goal by Bossu Piaget.
YCTR - Zora Youth FC 3; Hawai Surfing Club 1 - Seeded as the nation's number two at the start of the Cup, Zora Youth had no trouble dispatching the Surfing Club from nearby Hawai to guarantee their tickets to the Round of 16.
YCTR - Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 0; Saria Greens FC 2 - The Greens from Luna-Saria grabbed the lead with a screamer from out of the box by Lubna Deane and didn't ever look back, kicking the Mallcats off the Cup.
YCTR - Gerudo Trading Company FC 1; Kinjishinrin Occult HS 0 - Getruco's squad finally pushed off the underdogs from Kinjishinrin Occult HS with Linkan Pihanka improving his almost legendary status with the Gerudo populace with another key goal.
YCTR - Zeppelin Foundation 1; Speedwagon Foundation 0 - A hard-fought duel in one of Somei-Yoshino's youth football finest rivalries saw Zeppelin beat Speedwagon with a goal squeezed by Dawn Shiranui, enough to put the top tier side into the Round of 16.
MD 16 - Zora Youth FC 0; Southern Ironworks Girls 2 - The Zoras find themselves stunned by the Southern Ironworks in a display that possibly could've been better employed against the Little Foxes from Tsushike but still.
MD 16 - Gerudo Trading Company FC 3; Royal Music Youth Academy 4 - A highly contested affair saw the Musicians barely topple Getruco, with an emphasis towards the displays of Lorelei Komatsu and Piroska Kelemen from the Musicians while Linkan Pihanka, Victor Collar and Narus Aldebaaran gave their best (but not enough) for Getruco.
MD 17 - Saria Greens FC 0; Chaolan Zaibatsu 4 - Having briefly found themselves at the bottom four, the Unicorns brought their game back with style, slamming hard the unfortunate Greens from Luna-Saria.
MD 17 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Kazama All-Schools FC 2 - A game between two good teams saw Olimpo drop to the second half of the table with a slippery loss against Momoko Ichibonji's team.
MD 18 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 5; Senso-Shukujo Ladies HS 2 - Another game, another goal barrage by the Unicorns. Notably, Talitha picked up her second goal of the season from a distant free kick to start things out.
MD 18 - Aloha Heiwashima 4; Southern Ironworks Girls 0 - Two lowly-ranked teams duking it out wasn't the way to describe this, but rather Aloha Heiwashima teaching a thing or two to a clearly disunited team.
MD 19 - Mashu Elite HS 1; Zora Youth FC 0 - A single goal by rookie Tsunemon Kyorutaki was what served as the dealmaker between the Zoras and the Elites, guaranteeing the school from Mashu a somewhat guaranteed second place.
MD 19 - Zeppelin Foundation 2; Aloha Heiwashima 1 - Spurred by their results against Southern Ironworks, Aloha brought the fight to the Zeppelin Foundation, but the Somei-Yoshino side was still capable of going through and win.
MD 20 - Zeppelin Foundation 1; Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 2 - The Mallcats, another team in the mix, managed to edge out Zeppelin with a single goal with the Yui twins clearly showing a lot of talent to outstretch and weaken the opposition's defence enough for a goal by Shizumi Tsushishi.
MD 20 - Senso-Shukujo Ladies HS 3; Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 4 - A fitting game for the nurses, a gruelling duel between two of the most physical teams of the league, saw a goal festival follow up. At last, Tina Mimikawa out-dribbled two defenders and scored a decisive finish.
MD 20 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 4; Maku Trading Guild 2 - MTG, unfortunately, had to deal with Project Olimpo's return to grace, with the Olympians playing like they did last season. An improvised left midfielder Jimmy McCarthy left the game as the man of the match.
YCRo16- Kazama All-Schools FC 2; Royal Dragontamer Academy 0 - Kazama's reserves surprise and nab a decent win against third-tier Royal Dragontamers Academy, guaranteeing the league's fifth place in the next round.
YCRo16- Mashu Elite HS 7; Tsushike Little Foxes 1 - Rose, Deschamps, Kitsushima and Yamasaki are forced to take tests, depleting the Little Foxes' standing force. Elite did what they were expected to and pounded them with goals.
YCRo16- Project Olimpo Jutsii 0; Chaolan Zaibatsu 0 (AET 0-0, PK 5-4) - With both teams more concerned over league matters, both Olimpo and the Unicorns sent out rotated lines. Dana Alinejad hoofing the ball over the bar finished the penalty shootout, taking out the Unicorns.
YCRo16- West Mashu Corona Girls HS 1; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 2 - Another top tier team sending a mixed line-up came up to face a surprise in the tournament, the invitees West Mashu Corona Girls HS. Sadly, the home team didn't have enough to surpass the Dragon Guard, pushing another top-tier team to the Quarter-Finals.
YCRo16- Zora Youth FC 0; Saria Greens FC 1 - Lubna Deane's penalty shot guaranteed the relegation zone side a slot in the Quarter-Finals against what, by all accounts, was the second seed of the nation.
YCRo16- Kohei Cherry Villa HS 1; Gerudo Trading Company FC 0 - Jin Ha's screamer was all that guaranteed the Cherries into the next round with potential to meet the semi-finals.
YCRo16 - Zeppelin Foundation 1; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 3 - The Diamond Miners go all in and leave a scorched Zeppelin Foundation behind them. A very impressive display for one of the newbies of the top tier, even if it's in the Cup.
YCRo16 - So-Nya Nekojin Academy 0; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 1 - The Artists tried their best to hold the lead, Chen Zexi doing all he could to guarantee the team in the Quarter-Finals, but the Nekojin Academy had Uriko Nonomura and Myunjiko Karasu. The Cats now meet the Diamond Miners in the Quarter-Finals.
MD 23 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 0; Zora Youth FC 1 - Zora Youth's win makes it three games on a row where Project Olimpo fails to get out with a win, a shocker considering their brief rise.
MD 24 - Mashu Elite HS 3; Saria Greens FC 1 - This victory guaranteed Mashu Elite's lead after several matchdays of Zeppelin Foundation dominance.
YCQF - Kazama All-Schools FC 2; Mashu Elite HS 2 (AET 3-2) - The Elites grabbed hold of the lead with Kyorutaki's opener, but soon enough the Greens came back with Momoko Ichibonji and overtook the duel with Tai Mizuno scoring. Ikki Tokei tied things down and only at an extra time period, Kazama wonderkid Rina Itou was able to settle things out with a goal, sending the team to the semis.
YCQF - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 0 - Minna Furuzaka's header was just barely enough to get Project Olimpo to the semi-finals.
YCQF - Saria Greens FC 1; Kokei Cherry Villa HS 2 - Saria Greens FC's lucky run wasn't able to last: Lee Kang-Hyun and Seong Mi-Na were just too much for the Greens of Luna-Saria, who now have to duel relegation due to focusing too much on the Cup.
YCQF - Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 4; So-Nya Nekojin Academy 2 - The Nekojin Academy put up a lot of effort but they were clearly outmatched by Three Demons from Misutikku-Iseki. The league newbies now go on to face the Cherries at the Semis.
MD 30 - Zeppelin Foundation 2; Project Olimpo Jutsii 2 - Zeppelin's impeccable form ends up finding a rock in Project Olimpo. The draw prevents them from keeping themselves close to Mashu Elite, who now has an eight-point lead...
MD 30 - Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 1; Mashu Elite HS 2 - ...due to Mashu Elite barely squeezing a win against midtable Beibei.
YCSF - Kazama All-Schools FC 0; Project Olimpo Jutsii 1 - Olimpo managed to cook the game and take it down with a lucky strike by Athena Inagusame. Olimpo's poor form in the league might've ruined their shot at a league title this season, however, they might be able to claim the Cup.
YCSF - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 1; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 2 - The Cherries might've been very sympathetic but in the end, but the Three Demons again did their magic. A new team in the first tier, Misutikku-Iseki might be somewhat far from the league title but their chances to finish the season with a title rose.
MD 31 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Aloha Heiwashima 0 - While Project Olimpo's win kept them on the run for the league title, although with very dim chances, the result signalled the end of Aloha Heiwashima's hopes to remain in the top tier. The result more or less punctuated the style of their season so far: a mess that cemented just how antiquated their highly-defensive style is when compared to the league's standard attack bonanza. A legacy club now has to bear Division 1 football next season.
MD 32 - Gerudo Trading Company FC 4; Mashu Elite HS 2 - While Getruco found themselves in the middle of the table this season so far, they managed to be a spanner in the Elites' hopes for a title with this result.
MD 32 - Zora Youth FC 2; Kokei Cherry Villa HS 1 - The Zoras managed to sneak their way to the second place again with a victory against the now riskless Cherries. Hopes for a title remain alive at the Zora Domain.
MD 32 - Zeppelin Foundation 1; Royal Theater Preparatory HS 3 - The Zeppelin lower to third place with a loss, but the biggest note of the match is that with the win, the Artists (last season's runners-up) guarantee survival for next season, clearing themselves away from the relegation zone.
MD 32 - Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 1; Project Olimpo Jutsii 3 - With Beibei not being able to do much as several of their major players were flat out tired from several matches, the Olympians didn't have a lot of trouble to score a win, keeping themselves at fourth, although they'd need help from the Universe itself to win the league this season.
MD 32 - Chaolan Zaibatsu 1; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 1 - With both teams still holding on to the fringes of a chance of a league title, the uncompromising draw made things almost impossible for both the Miners and the Unicorns.
MD 32 - Kazama All-Schools FC 3; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 1 - The Dragon Guard's chances of a title folded at the feet of Momoko Ichibonji and the Greens, although things aren't exactly as sweet for the Kazama side either: they're also barely in the race for the league.
MD 33 - Mashu Elite HS 0; Get Well Soon United Naitogaru Nursery 0 - The Elites' advantage continues to weaken as they drew the respectable Nurses at home. Still, the single point won knocked out a couple of teams from title contention.
MD 33 - So-Nya Nekojin Academy 1; Zora Youth FC 1 - The Zoras failed to capitalize on a tie from the leaders drawing with the Nekojin Academy, but they are still on the run for the title.
MD 33 - Saria Greens FC 1; Zeppelin Foundation 1 - Also on the run, the Zeppelin too got stopped by relegation contestants Saria Greens FC at their home. The Foundation failed to leave Luna-Saria with a key win.
MD 33 - Project Olimpo Jutsii 3; Chaolan Zaibatsu 3 - The Unicorns planned to go for the title, even if they didn't have much of a chance. Still, they got held up by a direct opponent on Project Olimpo and both are now out of the run. Funnily enough, Olimpo still has a shot at the Cup.
MD 33 - Maku Trading Guild FC 1; Kazama All-Schools FC 0 - A shocker came out of Tentai as MTG, currently the worst team yet-to-be relegated pulled a win out of unexpected circumstances when Gotafu Hafuku managed to curb a ball over Ken Wakamaruichi's head, taking out Kazama from the title battle. MTG still remains in 19th, needing all of their opponents to mess up so they can stay on the top tier.
MD 34 - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 0; Maku Trading Guild FC 1 - MTG continues their surprise revival with a win against the Cherries, another team without much to do at this point of the season.
MD 35 - Maku Trading Guild FC 2; Koshu Dragon Guard HS 1 - Another win by MTG seems to indicate the team might manage to squeeze out a survival, depending on failures from Saria, RMYA, Beibei and Southern Ironworks.
MD 36 - Zora Youth FC 1; Maku Trading Guild FC 2 - MTG's survival run manages to hurt Zora's chances of a title with a win against all odds. Sadly for MTG, results from other teams mean they can only stay at the top flight on Goal Difference.
MD 37 - Zeppelin Foundation 1; Zora Youth FC 0 - Zeppelin Foundation's run for the title was still hopeful after a lone goal by Yugo Ogami put them up front. It would all be for naught, however...
MD 37 - Mashu Elite HS 3; Maku Trading Guild FC - ...As a couple of miles away, Ikki Tokei scored the tier between the now-relegation bound Maku Trading Guild and the Elites. Goals by Imui Akimenagi and Tsunemon Kyorutaki were enough to solidify and fully obtain the lead. A tearful Gotafu Hafuku could be found after the game, laying down on the pitch as the Elites celebrated their first ever Youth League title while relegating MTG to the second division. The team lacked luck all over the season and found itself to be too short on good players to survive, although fighting bravely to avoid so.
MD 37 - Saria Greens FC 0; Gerudo Trading Company FC - Getruco's win didn't do much to their season but it ended up relegating the Greens from Luna-Saria. While players such as Cienne Wu and Lbuna Deane did their best to contribute to the team's success, they found themselves in a similar situation as MTG and lacked the resolve to win key games that could keep them afloat. A shame after the team once found itself rubbing shoulders with stronger teams from the Empire at the Quarter-Finals of the Cup.
MD 38 - Zora Youth FC 2; Mashu Elite HS 4 - The game was hardly a matter of note, both teams fielding replacement players just so that after the game, the Elites could celebrate their trophy.
MD 38 - Kokei Cherry Villa HS 1; Royal Music Youth Academy 1 - A game where both teams were in serious danger of relegation found neither actually going down after a draw. Kokei, clearly the safer one of the two, would've escaped either way in the end.
MD 38 - Beibei Shopping Mall's Nekojin YFC 1; Southern Ironworks Girls 3 - As in the end, the Mallcats failed to get themselves out of the danger zone, dropping to the Division 1 after a single season of top-tier football, surprising considering how another promotee, Zeppelin Foundation, found itself fighting for the title and the other two promoted teams from last season didn't exactly stray too far from that. In the end, Beibei lacked a striker to complement both Mei twins. They might be favourites to return next season, but a shame nonetheless.
YCF - Project Olimpo Jutsii 1; Misutikku-Iseki Diamond Miners 0 - With the Youth Cup final being hosted at the Hinode City People's Stadium, a rave of fans, not to mention fellow players from different teams with interest over how these two teams would square off. Project Olimpo had nothing but pride to fight for, having failed at their main mission of winning the League and thus not qualifying to the UICA Youth Cup, while Misutikku-Iseki was simply looking for a title of anything sort, a massive sign of skill from the fabled Demon trio of Saikyomono, Hogo and Yurushi. Alas, Olimpo clawed the game early on with a goal at the 26th minute from star Jimmy McCarthy and cooked the rest of the game down until they could do no more.[/b]

ALL-HINODEJIN YOUTH FOOTBALL DIVISION 1
Mii Sadaharu and her Miishima Polytechnical HS team bounced back respectably, the flexible player leaving the season with a myriad of awards and Miishima Poly being enshrined with the title of the second tier, it all being mostly due on Mii Sadaharu and the Mishima brothers Takuma and Saito. Another set of twins, the Nishigawas, officially came back to the top tier as runners-up, although eyes are currently way more focused on Nina Nishigawa, who has been admitted into the High School, despite recruiting attempts of Senso-Shukujo and Project Olimpo. Additionally, foreigners Phelippon Lambert and Mariota Gachet will, at last, debut at the top tier in their final year at Hinode as Arctic Dream Shopping Mall YFC and Toadstool Enterprises join the other two teams at the top tier.
