The basic variants, the ones exported around the multiverse, do not utilize any unusual scientific implements, no innovative FTL drive, no unique advanced super-metals.” – Julia’s pitch was unusual in its humility – but the humble tone soon began to alter. “But in another sense, it’s innovative just in the way in which, say, the first steam ships were innovative. They took existing technologies – steam engines, wooden ships, water wheels – and rearranged them together in an usual way, a steam engine with two waterwheels on the sides of a ship forming paddlewheels, with which the ship could be propelled.”

The ship is a sturdy core, propelled by matter annihilation engines, and powered in FTL by hyperdrive, similar on what you’d find in every ship the Skyriver Galaxy, and on countless civilian vessels elsewhere. Strange thing about Gaians, they tend to be captivated, when they really want to be. Case in point: The Nergal trio watching the presentation with decent rapture, (as were holo-comm 'poke outs' of Inez and Washu's (actually Skuld's too,) holo projected heads, from between Erina's fingers still held over the comm unit.) Gaians liked a good story, presentation, such effectual whatnot. Erina was nodding through the whole dealio, as Nagare whistled at the unexpected tidbit of the cargo mini-hull detachment demonstration. "Reminds me of the Isugaran civilization and their Cargo Spheres."

"Not enough of them survived the Exodus, so this is a most effectual replacement for our expansion strategies." Erina nodded, a tic somber.

"When the bloody light of Interdiction finally ends, annoying Temporalisim." Nagare dragged his face in visible expounding. Erina then commented back to Julia. "To be legally certain, to ask openly here, we have legal rights to purchased data copies, as well as physical modification jurisdiction once we have finished our proceedings here. We have to ask from other prior dealings that made these two asking points, actually stickler in conduction, in our past. Better safe to ask, than be sorry."

Should you purchase Domestic Production Rights for the vessels, you are the holder of an unlimited right to produce the ships for customers within your nation's jurisdiction, and to alter them to your heart's desire. In addition, you have a full right to alter and modify any objects that will be bought from us, with the usual caveats that this would void warranty protection and product liability. What's however not within the scope of the rights is a re-export of the vessels in a way that would compete with our own export business."

The Allanean paused momentarily. "Generally speaking, a Domestic Production Rights contract includes technical consulting and assistance in setting up the actual 'domestic production' in question, and any purchase of our vessels includes warranty support for the duration of their reasonable lifespan, as long as the safety and reasonable utilization manuals are followed. "
