The Rebel Alliances wrote:Mission Title:
Hunt for Red Raven
What heroes would be involved, if any?:
Carter
Any Young Bloods Willing
What Villains are involved, if any?:
Red Raven
Any anti-hero characters willing
Location(s):
San Diego
What is the heroes’ objective, if any?:
To capture Red Raven before she gets herself or innocents hurt
What is the villains’ objective, if any?:
To inflict Red Raven's brand of Justice throughout San Diego.
Quick Summary(paragraph please):
Unable to convince Alexis to not pursue her plans as Red Raven Carter is conflicted on how to go about helping his friend Alexis. After Red Raven kills her first victim, a rapist who escaped prosecution because of wealth and connections. Carter decides he will need to physically intervene before things get out of hand. After Red Raven's third victim, the Police put together RRTG or 'Red Raven Task Group' in order to bring her down preferably alive but stating that if unable to they would use lethal force to send a message that vigilantes would not be tolerated. They also release a public statement denouncing her actions outside both common law and the superhero community and mark Red Raven as nothing more than a common criminal. Realizing that Alexis could easily get herself killed by the police Carter finally approaches the Young Bloods seeking additional help. Meanwhile Red Raven continues her crusade as she advances her skills and seeks like minded disenfranchised individuals.
This is an idea I came up with as a small side arc for anyone interested Honestly wont affect any main plot or character development except for those who get involved.

Pretty soon, after me and Segrel finish our upcoming scene she will hunt down her first victim. But it will be a few posts after that before it hits full swing with her third victim becoming public.
Gonna make a couple NPCs most likely to make things more interesting. A detective with the RRTG called Nate Granger who leads the formal investigation and a Punisher like character called Damascus who joins RR not long after she gets started.

Alright, if Segral is fine with it, it's accepted. Feel free to make those NPCs, as well.
Regarding when you're going to start, how about IC time? Because there's a planned training session for the Young Bloods and that might overlap. I figure you don't want all of them to participate, but Carter's one of them so yeah

IC time it would technically start the night after the Zoo battle. That's when Alexis will go off and kill her first victim. But practically only Carter will suspect that she actually went through with it. The Police will not yet know there is a new vigilante on the streets declaring war on criminals and corruption(That will be important later, eventually her target set will include the corrupt who allow criminals to escape justice) But it will roughly be a few days after IC time when things enter full swing and Raven has time to rack up a modest body count as well as Damascus join up with her.
So say, three IC days before the 'Hunt For Red Raven' fully kicks off?New Finnish Republic wrote:Out of curiosity, are you wanting this to happen alongside Red's arc? He'll be getting hell from the police as well during The Smoking Gun.
I'll need to read 'The Smoking Gun' but that sounds promising. I was hoping to involve Red anyways with how similar they are. Raven may try to approach Red at some point hoping to recruit him, even if he declines it would be an interesting scene.

Pretty much. I'm planning Marionette being the one to try and convince him, but if you wanted Red Raven could be the one who actually tries to convince him. Although I'll still probably have Red being a prisoner of Marionette for a while.

- [Superhuman Conditioning]: Marcus in short has superhuman physical attributes. Able to run on the upside of 60mph, throw a sedan and take hits that would normally bust walls
- [Terrakinesis]: Marcus can manipulate earth elements for various uses. Either picking them up and throwing them, using them as barriers to block damage ect
- While superhuman, Marcus is fairly low on the scales. Comparable super humans can harm him and even non supers equipped with heavy weapons. Also, guns are still quite effective as his durability is far less effective against piercing attacks
- Using his terrakinesis Marcus can only manipulate a limited supply at any one time and it requires direction with his arms. So, he cannot do this while shooting for example.
- [Invisibility and Intangibility]: Ray has the power to become completely invisible and make it to where nothing can interact with him physically. This allows him to get into places otherwise impossible when he takes on his physical form
- When intangible he cannot interact with anything in the physical realm just as they cannot harm him. Also when invisible he can still be spotted with alternate forms of vision such as heat vision.
- [Intangibility]: He is unable to interact with anyone in this state, so he literally cannot hurt you
- [Physically human]: When not using his abilities he can be killed as easily as any other human

Perhaps you could begin by describing your character's day to day life, and go from there? Perhaps how being hunted has changed his daily routine, and things like that. I believe that would make for a good introductory post.
