The Democratic Marxists wrote:Every nation has a song that they can belt out with a flood of patriotism, and they can feel good about it. Whether its “The Star Spangled Banner,” or “God Save the Queen,” every country has an anthem that pays tribute to a part of their nation. The song is often beautiful, touching, adn yet strong.
Which brings us to the question: which one is the best? Or, at least, which is your favorite? I personally love India’s Jana Gana Mana because it written in a type of language that all people in India can understand, even if there are over 800 languages in the country alone. It also beautifully describes all of India’s regions.
Which ones your favorite?
