FCC to repeal Net Neutrality Bill

I'm gonna seem about 200 years old when I say this, while I do respect other people's rights with them being able to go on the internet and their phones one positive thing from the repeal is that maybe people (specifically millennials like me) will spend less time on devices. I love the internet and spend a lot of time on it, but many of us seem too invested in our phones. Everyone has to record something, or post another thing on Instagram. Maybe we could live in the moment a little more.

Obviously I don't like the FCC's decision to repeal Net Neutrality, but I'm just trying to bring a positive spot into the light.

But you need open access to websites without throttling, blocking and paid prioritization for research. You need the internet fully free and open to take Online Classes without the uncertainty of ISPs getting all thugy on you and demanding cash for everything you do,

How can any of you think that it's a good idea that ISPs get to discriminate against what we can and do on the internet? Otherwise there would not be over 20 Million Comments made to FCC last year; States wouldn't be defying the FCC by making their own NN laws, suing the FCC for their un-american assault on our basic right to free and open internet, and pushing Congress to stop the FCC with the CRA.

However, Ajit Pai, being a Corporate Hack who hates American freedom and Consumers having equal access to the internet, ignored public opinion by robbing us of our consumer protections from Telecom Thuggery. That can't be tolerated and to add insult to injury preempted states from making their own rules. I still think states should ignore that preemption and regulate Isps themselves anyway regardless of what the Courts say on this matter.

It’s not a doctrine. It’s not a religion. I know you’re looking desperately for some god to fall on, after supposedly “dumping religion”, but net neutrality is not that god. It is not in the Constitution. It is not in the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights. And you are on your internet, and it is working just fine. So there is no issue.
