a nation built almost completely over the concept of private property, individualism, classical liberalism, and even worse refusal to bend over backwards "for the greater good of all" doesn't seem like good blocks for a socialist world state, to be honest.
Some of the traits of American culture were admired by Sorel, especially the old idea of the "rugged individual" a strong warrior-worker ethos. I believe American culture can be converted to a socialist framework rather easily.

Exceptionally bad. From a critical theoretical view, the U.S. is the Empire. Its destruction would be a blessing.
The destruction of the United States would lead to the end of civilization.
