I do not give two shits how they choose to run their business but if YOU want to claim they could not previously give their employees a decent wage with their yearly revenue than I'm going to call that bullshit out.
What has already been demonstrated is that there have and do exist many companies which DO actually pay their workers a decent wage without having to slash their hours to part-time and yet somehow avoid bankruptcy, must be fucking sorcery amirite?

You see, Wal-Mart needs greater gross profits as a percentage of their income because reasons. Good reasons. Because they're good capitalists, and they deserve it. Except when they hire overseas, at which point they are destroying the American worker. Unless they can be used to support Trump, in which case that doesn't matter.

No, that's fake news. Trump would never make a bad short-term deal to brand his 'success' in the astoundingly fleeting memory of his base.

No, I asked you how you should think they should solve the efficiency problems you stated they have; you clearly implied a level of understanding of corporate operations, so I'm asking for you to share your expertise. Do enlighten us.

I do not give two shits how they choose to run their business but if YOU want to claim they could not previously give their employees a decent wage with their yearly revenue than I'm going to call that bullshit out.

Okay then, where's your argument?

What has already been demonstrated is that there have and do exist many companies which DO actually pay their workers a decent wage without having to slash their hours to part-time and yet somehow avoid bankruptcy, must be fucking sorcery amirite?

No, it's explained by basic economics. Costco, for example, outsources parts of their logistics chain while Walmart operates its own and, as already noted, has about 100 more employees per store than Costco does.

You could also incorporate some measures of virtualization to increase efficiency in the supply chain management processes but most likely doing this will involve laying people off.

Amazingly, Trump's new immigration plan isn't vastly different from what I would want. Continue DACA, secure the border (although I wouldn't prefer a wall to do that), and make everyone who's already here a citizen because of the vast ethical, economic, and social costs of deporting millions of people.

Okay, what type of efficiency problem do they have? We were talking about employee counts, not electrical bills or any of that such, so that really narrows it down according to you on what their efficiency problem is.

All of those options are capital intensive and require investment rather than hiring more people.

Which again, goes back to square one of not needing to hire more people to be "more efficient".

E-commercializing is a very definite way of increasing efficiency in such chain stores but once again it also involves laying people off.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam%27s_Club
Sam's Club had sales of $57.157 billion in FY 2014.[4] It reported a 0.3% sales increase in 2014, 4.1% in 2013, and 8.4% sales increase in 2012. This is significantly higher growth than Walmart U.S. stores, which have not had higher than 2% growth since 2010.[4]

Ouch.

So what evidence do you hold to the contrary of their claims? Are you better aware of Walmart's finances then Walmart?

Which you clearly lack, given you just compared a company with 231,000 employees to one with 1.4 Million U.S. employees.

To which Geni accused them of having an efficiency problem if the one making significantly more per employee couldn't afford to pay its employees the amount that the significantly less profitable organization could; such a situation would demand tremendous inefficiency - theoretically in such places as shipping, organization, etc, but more realistically in the abuse and graft of the higher echelons of the corporate hierarchy sucking each other off.

Regardless of all previous arguments it seems indisputable that digital companies seem to have an almost unfair advantage.
