Im just saying thst states like WA should enforce net neutrality laws regardless of the consequences. I see no thing wrong with that compared to enforcing marriage bans which actually hurt people.

The horse is probably beyond glue now and you’re still beating it. You haven’t seemed to figure-out the meaning of democracy yet, and you’re panicking over the issue when everyone else has moved on and is living their lives. You should do the same.
Because right now net neutrality should be among the issues of the year in 2018. It is too important to stop fighting, wither it be in the courts, Congress or state rebellion against the FCC. Im glad people haven't stopped fighting yet.

I don't care about that now. That is in the past. I care about the now and the future. Stop beating that dead horse.
What is resistance against Trumpism without peaceful rebellion and civil disobedience against harmful polices like state preemption against net neutrality?

Effective and proportional, as opposed to everything you suggest. The Flutterlands wrote:Yeah. Nonetheless, the fact that the internet must be free and open is an objective fact that no argument can change.
No it's not. And I'm betting that you're going to drop this claim when I ask for proof, just like you stopped caring about objective morality as soon as you couldn't prove it.
So come on then. I can prove the world is round. Prove these facts, if you can.

Because without net neutrality ISPs would get to choose winners and losers on the internet depending on how much money they have.
They would get to block, throttle and favor any website they wish and they have the political and business incentive to do so. After all, they have done so in the past.
No one except ISPS and authoritarians want that because it hurts businesses and internet freedoms. Therefore, net neutrality is objectively right for a free and open internet as a public square.

Net Neutrality is the only way it can go. Even if it doesn't it must be made to go that way on the state level, even in rebellion against state preemption.

Nope. This is just what you want. You wanting something doesn't make it factually the only acceptable course of action.

I don't care. States must rebel against the preemption. It is an imperative if all else fails. Unless you think ISPs should be able to extort us for more profit.

You just want people to concede. You may or may not have the objective facts with you, but once convinced you have it you will stop at nothing to have people come around to your opinion, even through extremities.
To this extent, you are no better than Trump -- with you as well as with him there is an impressive will to dictate the wills of others, but with it comes an aversion to as well as an intolerance of anything that doesn't go your way.
(And now, back to me moping off elsewhere.)

A few people in the thread are tired of you imagining yourself the leader of some heroic resistance against soulless corporations and ranting for a coup every week even though your vote demanded the end of net neutrality by picking the moron who ran on the pledge to do so just because you were triggered by the Democratic primaries and wanted Clinton to suck it and use her tongue.
