Honestly, another close second for my favorite dog is a shi tzu. I think I spelled that right. That was my first dog ever, and I also loved him to death. He was a little dope, always laying in front of our space heater and hogging it. I miss him.
I really like small dogs.

I put Other in the poll because I'm torn between Labs and German Shepherds. The dog we had when I was little was a lab mix. She died of old age, and I'm trying not to cry as I write these words. Our current dog is half German Shepherd and half hound.

I am the exact same way. I love German Shepards, but my heart belongs to the Yellow Labrador Retrievers. Have had two in my lifetime, the oldest passed away in February. Had to put her down at a vet's due to her arthritis.

Labs are awesome. We had a Lab mix when I was little, as I mentioned earlier.

That's sad. My Lab died of old age probably 4 years ago. My grandparents had to put down a dog this year, due to age or arthiritis. Something like that.
