Had a fun time this past weekend at TFCon USA 2017 in Reston, VA.

Was a 3rd party trip for me from the dealer room.

Picked up Maketoys MTRM-02N Gundog, Maketoys lighter toon color take on Hound

Image

Maketoys MTRM-07 Visualizers Maketoys take on Reflector

Image

Ocular Max PS-01A Sphinx take on Masterpiece style Mirage in G1 toon colors.

Image

and Ocular Max PS-06O Terraegis Offroad convention exclusive from Ages 3 and Up. Offroad rally redeco of the Terraegis mold they used for their take on a masterpiece Trailbreaker.

Image

Additionally picked up an autobot decal from the Toyhax/Reprolabels booth there for my car

Got autographs from Neil Ross, David Kaye and Jack Angel.

And a headcold... lol

The TR figure is hideous though.

Like oh boy I love figures with giant backpacks that completely ruin their silhouette, arms that are out of proportion, and tiny pinheads.

I do not see TR Windblade as hideous though. IT's quite well proportioned. You may be thinking for the RID Windblade.... which I just ignored.

Which publisher (Marvel,Dreamwave,IDW) do you guys think has done the best job with TF comics? I personally like IDW the best, with Marvel a close second.

IDW the best overall. I have more nostalgic attachment to Marvel of course, being the original.

I agree. I love MTMTE and Wreckers. MTMTE is better than most superhero comics. It's a beautiful comic.

The RID Windblade is legit great. Well the faceplated version with actual paint is.

Anyways anyone else pick up Pot Pie toys yet? Got me Swoop earlier this week. He's pretty neat, but his legs don't like to stay pegged together. Doesn't really effect leg mode or pteranodon mode, but arm mode it's annoying.

Autobot: Kup, Hound, or Swerve, along with numerous other MTMTE characters, and not necessarily in that order.

Decepticon: Soundwave, Shockwave, Skywarp, the Cassettes , or Megatron, probably. As a whole, I like the Decepticons more. I wish there was a full comic focused on the Decepticons, not the Autobots.

Finally got some. So far have Swoop, SlAg, Slash, Dreadwind, Skrapnel, Windcharger and Beachcomber.

Have Grimlock and Starscream on Preorder.

Other pre-orders I have are MP Sunstreaker, Takara Legends Autobot and Decepticon clones.

And currently shipped and on the way I have Zetatoys Takeoff and Whirlblade (aka their take on Blastoff and Vortex from the combaticons)...... that is going to be one big Bruticus.

I have this toy, but I have no idea who he is. All I know is he is a Decepticon, orange, turns into a car, and is in sort of a Bayformers style. Oh, and hos face looks a little like a skull.

Time to dig through the Transformers wiki until you find the answer to your question. No Decepticon should remain unidentified!

Yet there were Hasbro executives who thought it was not only a good concept, but also an excellent one. The long, slithering tongue of Megatron probably got them enthusiastic about this exciting new Transformers manga.
