I, however, can’t say with a clean mind that these attacks are becoming more common because of Trump. Correlation does NOT equal causation. It is fine to believe in race and to divide and make judgements and etc. about people on such criteria. But this was out of order. It isn't okay to cause such a scene. It is no one's fault what race they're born into, but it does nevertheless determine how you live your life to some extent. People aren't equal in status or potential from conception, but this is okay, a fact of reality to be embraced.

People are assholes. Big deal. I've had racial epithets thrown at me by everyone from my fellow athletes in the heat of the game to a baggage handler who was used to getting bigger tips.
