Its another name for Carolingian, which was Charlemagne's family line. And i think the name means descendant of Karl or something like that

Ive never once tried a game as Charlemagne. In fact, i dont think ive ever played in france or germany except when i invaded them as the Norse/Byzantines and one or two attempts as William of Normandy on ironman. I tend to play around the Middle East, Scandinavia, British Isles and Italy and the Mediterranean mostly.

Most of my CK2 games are in Britain, Spain, Italy, or, if I hate myself that day, Russia. I've tried playing India like three times and I instantly got bored with all of the big kingdoms keeping everything stable.

You wouldn't. Because you're not a fuckwit AI. But I've seen AI Castile refuse it twice now for no apparent reason (apparently it just rolls a dice to decide). It's particularly annoying if you actually want to see a united Spain.

So Khergit is interesting. At war with everyone but Rhodok and we're winning. Then again the AI decides 100 low level infantry makes a good stack. Meanwhile i go from 40 cavalry to 130 because the AI is terrible at winning against horsies and I level upped to 30 without effort. Also thank you RNStalin for my luck against the Sarranids and gifting me the greatest gift of all Mamluks.

I think my sum total of games amounts to a bunch of Irish games (it's role-play heaven there, I actually love sitting there without a care in the world), maybe a Scottish game?, a few games in Scandinavia, a few Byzantine games, a Umayyad game, and some games in the Middle East. Can confirm Egypt (specifically the Fatimids).
